We
came
for
a
boat
ride
and
it
was
amazing.
We
were
a
group
of
20
and
had
to
take
two
boats
out.
We
had
one
guide
and
had
to
stop
both
boats
at
the
same
time
to
make
sure
everyone
got
the
same
tour.
Saw
Tilapia
fish
farming
in
aqua
cages,
an
8yr
old
technology
that
is
restoring
lake
Victoria
waters
after
overfishing
and
hyacinth
left
the
lake
unproductive.
Managed
to
spot
a
pod
of
hippos,
even
saw
two
little
Hippo
babies
🦛That
was
pretty
cool!
Stopped
over
at
Dunga
Hill
Camp
for
a
cold
one
and
to
stretch
our
legs,
before
heading
back
out.
I
highly
recommend
that
you
carry
a
large
sun
hat,
sunscreen,
sunglasses
and
drinking
water.
It
gets
pretty
pretty
hot
out
there
and
the
reflection
from
the
lake
can
hurt
your
eyes.
Beware
of
taking
photos
at
the
beach
prior
to
boarding,
the
photographers
are
territorial
and
will
charge
you
about
KES
50
to
take
a
photo
even
on
your
phone.
If
you’re
not
into
boat
rides,
I
suggest
you
do
a
morning
tour,
between
9-10am
when
the
waters
are
calm
...
very
peaceful
ride.
Evening
waters
after
5pm
can
get
a
bit
rough.
Finally,
remember
to
have
fun!
