Karagitha Public Beach is located along Moi South lake road, Karagitha, Naivasha, Kenya on the Shores of Lake Naivasha. It is a cosy, contemporary and elegant place. There is availability of boat riding, Camel riding and bicycle riding. It is a good place for leisure and family outing. It has pleasant and authentic hotels, bars and restaurant at the shore of the Lake Naivasha with delicious Tilapia.

Have boat rides while your fresh fish is being cooked and enjoy the meal afterwards with family or friends or alone. The place is easily accessible for all and you will truly enjoy. No exploitation for tourists

The fish is fresh from the lake and affordable. The boat rides are enjoyable. The scenery is good too.

The place is not Welcoming at all...the entrance path is almost impassable and you have to drive slowly and carefully. Once you near the so called beach, you are met with stark dry brown trees standing tall despite being robbed of their beauty. Fishmongers will not let you choose with peace, each is eager to call your attention to their wares. However one thing strikes about the beach, it is clean and no odour detected. Thanks for the marabou storks presence. These long necked birds perform an important natural function by cleaning the area through ingesting unwanted fish, bones and such waste . Interestingly, despite the marabous being around dumps they are waiting for a hand out from a generous hand.😃😃😃😃 The fish is moderately expensive compared to Kamere.(different sizes available)For a boat ride(motor boat), you just part with ksh 200 per head. I also observed that the water hyacinth has not only significantly affected the beauty of the lake but also the water quality. This should be looked at with urgency to avoid the economic and ecological impacts.

Nice place with exhilarating sunsets and boat riding. Beholding sights of lakeside birds. One can also enjoy a meal of fried fish.

My favourite Lake. I learnt swimming here in my childhood. Get fresh fish and enjoy boat rides as you be watching hippos.

From a tourist The cool thing here are the giant birds with long legs. You can buy fresh fish and get a boat ride at a good price. I'll say that I wasn't impressed by the boat tour or the fish. The boat tour was very cheap but the guides just show you some hippos from faraway and take you back quickly. The boat tour was very cheap but the guides should take more training and knowledge. A total rip off and terrible experience. We negotiated a boat tour at half the price initially offered and it was still way too much. They promised 40 minutes, gave us 20, and spent 1 minute looking at the hippos. We regret going here.

Definitely a place to visit while in Naivasha...with friends and family ..Boat riding is the main activity and the price depends with minutes you spend on the boat...it gets crowded during public holidays but it's a place one should pass by

The place was not really to my expectations but it's a good place for boat riding,fun fishing and yeah the fish sold around here is your favourite I promise...I feel like it would be a better or more appealing site of attraction if there were better sites of view around the lake shore such as kids fun spots or other beauty sceneries..but it's a good place to be .

The beach is generally dirty, plastic bags, plastic bottles and old unused net. Fish is super affordable but not tasty 🤑 also the Marabou stocks will give you a run for your fish. Look out for hippos from their hide out back to the water on a hot afternoon

It’s good place for day outing, especially with family with kids… you can have boating, camel ride & horse ride… also bicycles are available for rent… later you can have fish&ugali meal… if someone want to buy fresh fish it’s very cheap compared to outside…

Boat riding was awesome

I took an hour boat ride and spotted Hippos, Zebras, Impala, Girrafes and wild beasts while on boat ride! The ride is something I can recommend.

The beach is currently flooded so not much to see. Fish trade was the main activity with lots of fresh fish from the lake on sale. There are motor boats that offer boat rides up to an island that has a lot of game to see.

Good Experience

Visit this beach for a fun filled day... Boat rides, water bucks to view and hippos as well as delicious affordable meals freshly prepared by the beach. I had a good time. Boat rides are very affordable with life jackets.. As little as 200 per head.

Enjoyed the boat ride,it's accessible by road even during rainy days.

The nearby boat tour was a highlight of my trip.
