The
place
is
so
good
for
tourists
attraction
although
there
are
two
main
beliefs
concerning
the
lake,
there's
a
doubt:
1.
Area
residents
believes
that
it
was
bewitched
2.
Scientists
believes
that
it's
due
to
volcanic.
But
all
in
all
which
one
can
we
believe?
a).
The
lake
itself
is
overcrowded
with
flamingos
but
what
the
hidden
agenda
behind
the
species.
b).
May
be
they're
the
people
who
were
drowned
by
the
water
during
the
time
of
the
lake
lady.
Lake
Simbi
is
only
few
kilometres
from
Lake
Victoria.
We
can
believe
that
it
was
formed
due
to
volcanic
pressure
long
time
ago.
Incase
the
lake
would
have
been
20-40
km
away,
we
would
have
believed
that
the
volcanic
formation
is
false,
but
because
the
two
lakes
are
very
close
to
each
other,
there
may
be
a
reality
in
scientific
point
of
view.
Both
views
will
lead
us
to
reality
only
if
we
can
consider
the
main
points
from
both
sides.
All
in
all,
the
lake
itself
has
got
wonders
and
by
paying
your
visit
there,
you'll
learn
alot.
You'll
all
agree
with
me
that
the
water
within
Lake
Simbi
Nyaima
is
moving
underground
and
I
believe
that,
there's
an
inlet
and
outlet
towards
and
from
Lake
Victoria
if
am
not
wrong.
By
the
way,
the
water
within
that
lake
is
not
stagnant
at
all.
You'll
also
realize
that
the
distance
between
the
two
lakes
is
not
more
than
3
km
apart...and
that
means
the
lake
itself
is
part
of
Lake
Victoria.
Although
there's
a
belief
that
the
place
was
bewitched,
according
to
Luo
community,
it
may
be
true
because
long
time
ago
during
the
existence
of
our
Grandfathers,
there
were
witches
and
wonders
and
I
can't
deny
that.
