Very beautiful white beach with fine white sand. It can be a bit too hot during the day time but early morning and late afternoon it’s really enjoyable to walk in here. There are many hotels around for food and drink. Many small beach sellers for crafts and coconuts. Very beautiful place.

Diani Beach is beautiful! I have never seen whiter sand on a beach. The water is clear and blue. There are several rock/san bars that dot the area. High and low tides are quite extreme with high tide almost up to the resorts and low tides 150+ feet out. There is a lot of seaweed and no one maintains the beach. The resorts have maintained areas just off the beach on their property. Main complaint is about the number of men that will approach you to ask for money in some form or the other. Either riding camels, visiting their stands, selling jewelry or coconut, or just outright asking for cash. They are very insisitant. We couldn't go 20 feet in either direction with being approached by multiple people.

Super nice very long beach 👌 You have a lot of hotels and cafes a long the beach. There is a lot of activities you can do. Riding a camille is one of them. Renting a boat and vo diving or fishing. Snorkeling is also an option. In the middle, but more in the land , you can find few banks and a shopping mall where you can finish just about anything. And maybe 2km from the beach there is a main road to Mombasa and another slightly larger shopping mall with more choice. The beach it self is quit nice. The sand is white and feels amazing under your feet. There is a low and high tide, low from 08:00 AM until high tide from 14:00 PM , depending which part of the beach you go , maybe somewhere you can not go for a swim during low tide because of coral reef.

LOTS of Hawkers & “Salesman”, BUT they’re just trying to make a living, just stay calm & go about your activities.

Diani was beautiful just make sure not to come late 12 pm 5 pm is the best. Come as early as possible. Bring the kids and your lover or a friend. But be modest cover your bikini during walking or public as it is Muslim city. No one will give you hard time. But expect locals to staire you. Just use have your scarf on your hip. That will do. But i have to admit they are the friendliest people I met, welcoming qaribu, honest and welcoming.
