They are short staffed for waiters but the busboy, Alex, was very efficient in helping out with the customers. They should really make him a waiter. He is one of the main reasons we return over and over. The atmosphere is nice and has both inside and outside seating. The menu is diverse and allows for a good selection of foods. The prices are reasonable and moderate.

Java has never dissapointed. It's like the same chef follows you no matter what town you are in. Quality meals and worth their price. Their Dawa is to die for. Perfectly balanced to the tongue and the throat. Their grilled chicken breasts and fries..... Bottom line, great food, great service and fast. Cool place for business meetings as well. Sockets available to charge your laptop or phone. WiFi too though avoid public free WiFi if cyber security is anything to go by. Java any day, any time.

The mango juice blew my mind. Service is great and the menu is elaborated in a way that anyone can find something to eat.

Was having caffeine withdrawal and it closing time but staff were able to get me a quick fix. The headache was getting nasty.

The place is cool. It was a one time visit, twas my first time. It was good enough to be appreciated. Service was good. I don't have much to talk about their food, I just had some coffee (iced mocha) that carried my afternoon. Twas nice.

The best mall there is in KISUMU CITY all your favorite hangouts and chill spots are readily available...

I had the Satay Chicken, recommended by Tyson, succulent chicken breast, well marinated and grilled on 6 skewers. I wish the peanut sauce was heavier, but that's me. Salad was fresh, flavorful...totally worth gulping down before dashing for the bus...this location should consider 24 hrs, or early morning hours...

Tasty food. Prompt service. Pleasant servers. A nice place to relax, or work on your laptop,... while sampling out their varied sumptuous dishes and beverages.

Good place for coffee

Their food portions are relatively good but they can improve on their service.It took quite sometime for a waiter to aproach me and bring a menu.Dont ask for their chicken curry its not good.

A quiet and easy place to visit for brunch, the service is excellent just as the food is too. Definitely a place to host a meeting too.

I loved the ambience of the Place, very well displayed, the sweet coffee aroma was a spectacle to my nose. Very friendly staff that welcomed us with warm smiles, the place was generally very clean I also loved the jazz instrumentals playing in the background.

I'd say the best place for you to eat as you enjoy your time no rush just quality time

I had the best croissant with egg, bacon and cheese. Bestest ever!! Other than that, it's a nice place to get your meal. It's Java, they really try to make their standards cut across all their restaurants.

Always a pleasure to visit this local food chain. For the united mall branch, keep the mall's management on toes regarding the washroom standards since they seem to be the ones incharge of that on behalf of every business housed in this mall. Better still get your own solution around this small and sensitive matter.

The service is somehow good. Your tea is just like that of funerals. There's no uniqueness in your tea, coffee ☕.you need to put more sockets connected on the middle tables to enhance comfortability.

It's Java house, good food from all over the world, prices are higher than many other restaurants but food is up to international standards, place is clean, service is swift, perfekt for having lunch or dinner when passing through kisumu matatu stage or going shopping

Rated at 2 stars because they do not have washrooms of their own. One has to pay to use the United Mall washrooms. Its a wonder how public health officials licensed an eatery without washrooms.

If you are boarding or taking off from Kisumu via Easy Coach, consider yourself sorted by this Java Cafe which is located on the United Mall, Kisumu. The restaurant offers the usual Java menu of coffees, teas, juices, and American fast foods, as well as an infusion of local cuisine like the Ugandan "Rolex" (ie the famous chapati-wrapped omelette) . I love taking my cappuccino outdoors, so this setting is perfect for you to enjoy the Kisumu breeze.

If you're looking for a nice, friendly customer experience, this is one place you should visit. I have been here twice and already feel at home 😊
