Sishu Kera—it’s in a warehouse, which is cool if you’re into that industrial, “I’m too hip for a regular restaurant” vibe. Burgers? Decent. It’s one of my best friend’s go-to burger spots, but for me? Eh, it’s aight. Look, I’m a foodie. I could easily down two of these so-called “burgers” and still have room for dessert. They’re gourmet, sure, a real boujee burger situation. Now, let’s talk about the real star here—the cheesy mayo sauce. Magical. Absolutely magical. Ask for it, dunk everything in it, and it might just redeem the whole experience. That said, I actually prefer their cheesesteak sandwich over the burgers, hands down. And for the health-conscious folks (or people who think fries aren’t a food group), you can swap the fries for a salad. But let’s get real about the price. If you’re worried about it, this place probably isn’t for you. The vibe is decent—lots of foreigners hanging around, probably thanks to the AU nearby—but is it worth it? Meh. For my money, I’d take a Hibir burger any day of the week. My friends might disagree, but I’ll leave it up to you guys to decide. Just don’t expect me to glorify the place and hand my friend the dopamine he’s chasing.

Food quality was very good, but I think prices are overrated for such a small sized sandwiches and burgers. I suggest making a bigger sandwiches and burgers with same quality for same price. One more thing, What does the name of the place mean?! When i heard about this place at first time i thought it was some type of Sushi or other asian sea food restaurant!!

Hidden Gem. Would never have found it if not invited by a friend. Truly a great place for lunch or dinner. Definitely recommend.

This is one of the best restaurants in Addis. The food is so good and tastes like real fresh ingredients. The smell of the restaurant is incredible! The vegetarian/vegan sandwich was REALLY good! The drinks were great! Can’t wait to go back!

Best burger in Addis, look no further. Returned after 15 years and the quality is even better than I remembered. All the burgers come with fries and make sure to get all the accompanying sauces. The staff is lovely although can be a bit slow but that’s because it’s such a popular place. The ambiance is so lovely and you could come with a book or laptop to work or even on a casual date night.

They baked their own bread, and I was not satisfied with the size. The Fries were like commercial ones. The ketchup should be customized. I ordered a whey drink, and I liked it.

My fellow humans I am in the continent of Africa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to be specific. Extremely excited about the cuisines and decided as a Londoner to include non-traditional Ethiopian food for this journey and I was recommended a very well known burger restaurant called Sishu. Lady and gentlemen it was absolutely delightful. The burger was delicious the fries were top-notch and the entire experience was amazing. I’m just saying the burger was sooooooo succulent and will be very hard to match. I love Ethiopian traditional food and branching out to a brilliantly delivered western cuisine in the country left me speechless. I would 100% recommend Sishu if you are ever in the capital.

The restaurant is located in a hall, creating a pleasant atmosphere that isn't too loud and features sustainably furnished decor. The menu is limited, but it's adequate if you enjoy burgers. The burgers are tasty, and the service is friendly. You can also take away burger buns, baguettes, and sourdough bread. I highly recommend the sourdough bread - it's fantastic. Reservations are generally not required, as there are usually enough tables available. Additionally, there is free parking right outside the door.
