Incredibly disappointed. I booked this jewellery making class for my partner and I due to all the amazing reviews but left feeling very disappointed. I’m not sure if they were having an off day today or what was going on but the whole class felt very rushed and not like a hands on class at all. We arrived and were told to sit at a table, which we did, to wait for the instructor. The instructor then proceeded to give a different group that arrived at a similar time an introduction, I asked if I needed to join but was told I had to wait. We then got our instructions which were so quick, whilst the first group started making their rings - the loud banging mixed with the thick accent made the instructions very hard to understand and my partner and I were left very confused. They then told us to design what we wanted to make and walked away but didn’t give us paper and a pen? So we sat there talking about our designs with each other but couldn’t draw anything. We asked for paper and pen which arrived 10mins later when we were asked “what are you making? We need a design”. We were informed during the introduction that we would not be melting the metal down and we would be using pre made wire to create our pieces despite seeing a lot of other reviews melting down the metals to create their pieces. Then the process was completely taken away from us. I can not say that I made that ring for myself because I barely touched the metal! They did the sizing, cutting, polishing, soldering etc etc whilst I sat and watched. When I eagerly asked if I could do a task I was told I could pump the air the for flame to solder the ring. I tried on the ring throughout the class and continuously told the instructor it was too big, I was told I was wrong and it was the right size. Nope, the ring is massive and won’t fit my ring finger but won’t fit my rude finger either due to my knuckle being too large so I now have a ring that I can’t wear. During the class I was approached and told I was able to make another ring due to mine being fairly small - I was so excited thinking “I’ll get to make this one” but I was asked if I wanted a twisted or plain band and the rest was done for me just like the first. This ring is also not soldered together properly and there’s a piece of silver that scratches me so I’m unable to wear it. The class was a huge let down. I was so excited to create my own jewellery pieces and get my hands dirty but all I did was watch other people do it for me. I won’t deny that the rings are stunning but I wanted a jewellery making experience which I did not receive today. I will not return on future holidays.

We went as a group of 5. We all had different ideas of what rings we wanted to create, but once we had listened to how the silver jewellery was made we all found ourselves full of ideas and not sure what to do!! Luckily there were a lot of staff to help you with your design, and they were so helpful in making your ideal piece of unique jewellery come to life! There is a sense of time limitations if you want to get a complex ring design, for example, I wanted a signet ring and so I needed to get someone to do most of the work but I was there at every stage and I was asked to help with every part of the process, so I didn't mind that I didn't make all of it. Most of all, I wanted to make a piece of jewellery that I was happy with so I knew that it was better to let the experts lead the way! The others in my group had easier designs and pretty much made all of their rings themselves, it just depends what you want. You can make pretty much any design of ring you want here, including bracelets. You get 8 grams of silver included with the lesson, but it was only 20,000 extra for each gram of silver you used on top of the included 8. The atmosphere is very exciting and the buzz of everyone getting on with making their own unique jewellery is magical. The lesson and the 8 grams of silver cost us 450,000 Rupiah each. We would all recommend this experience as we all had an amazing time and we all came away with beautiful handmade jewellery. You even get free tea and a snack included! A must do in Bali.

We booked on very short notice, a driver was organised and we had an early start for our afternoon class. The silversmiths assististed us after we worked our designs out. All in a beautiful home/garden setting, we had lovely coffee, water and snacks. It is well worth it to buy any additional silver work directly from the makers. No need to haggle and super fair prices. Very enjoyable - a must.

We got there and had an introduction to silver (from the reviews I'm not sure many silver classes do this!), we were told about the process of making sterling silver from pure silver and then shown lots of pictures and real jewelry to get inspiration from. I basically had a one on one teacher, this may have been because I had a harder design, but I looked around, and no one was being left alone - if we had questions, we could ask them. I did not make all of the ring, but this is absolutely expected. No one can pick up the craft in a 3 hour lesson! What I was able to do was a lot of 'helping', designing, creating the swirls and placing the dots and then a lot of polishing! I am so happy with the product and we had a lovely time there. They even provided crisps and a coffee which was so good! My ring was 500k including the 50k stone and was only about 6g! If you do simple designs you could do two rings in the 3 hours:)

The place itself is so beautiful and I enjoyed this experience so much! I made a ring in the shape of a leaf, the team explained every step of the process. They helped me with finding the idea, designing it and throughout the process. It was so interesting to see all the steps, but above all the result was astonishing! The ring was so beautiful, I couldn't believe one could achieve this result in such a short time! Thanks to the whole team for this unique experience!🤩🤩

Amazing experience and the cheapest place i found! Also you get 10g of silver which is great. Such a good activity to do and get a beautiful silver item to take home! They go through all of the steps with you, and its very interesting to learn

My partner and I went today and had an amazing time, we learnt about silver making history and the traditions on how the skill gets passed down generation after generation. The ring making itself was very hands on. Obviously we didn’t get to do everything ourselves due working with melting and very hot flames but all other aspects of the molding, designs, polishing and cleaning we did ourselves. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to make their own jewellery. I will definitely be coming back to make more one day

My partner booked this jewelry making class based on the amazing reviews but we both left feeling very disappointed. This class wasn’t hands on at all, not sure if this is normal or if they were having an off day but the entire experience felt rushed and unheard. When we arrived we were taken to a table and told to wait, while waiting we saw another group being given instructions so we were very confused about just waiting at the table. We asked if we needed to join but told no and just wait. We waited for some time and then told to move to another table and then we were given “instructions” on how silver process works and what we’ll be doing for the class. During this time the other group was making a start to what they were doing and were making a lot of noise, combined with the huge accent, these instructions were not tangible in the slightest and we felt extremely confused at the end of it. During this time we were informed that we wouldn’t be melting down the silver and would be working on a pre-made piece even though we all thought that we would be starting from scratch and doing a lot of the work ourselves. Once we started we were informed that we would need to draw a design on paper that they would get, we didn’t receive that for some time so we talked about our design, they gave my partner paper but not myself. Eventually I got some paper and started to design as well. We felt quite rushed when doing this part. After that we were given the impression that we needed to decide what size, thickness etc of the band we wanted almost immediately after drawing our designs, very rushed. The process was extremely different to what we thought would happen, I can’t say that we made these rings for ourselves as we barely touched it. I was fortunate enough to be able to cut two small pieces and hammer my size, but then it was taken off me and completed by the staff as I’m assuming it wasn’t going quick enough. This happened for each aspect of “my” ring. We really only were allowed to sand the ring and clean it. During the process my partner was constantly trying on the ring for sizing and was constantly telling the staff it was too big but she was ignored and told no it was fine. She now has a ring that’s too big and can’t wear, it hasn’t been soldered correctly as there’s a part that digs into her. Again, we didn’t get to do this.. Our rings are beautiful, but that’s all they are as they don’t have our own time and effort put into them. I wouldn’t say that we created these rings at all, this experience was a let down.
