Ribs and Wing Night. Ran out of wings so couldn’t get any, ordered the ‘full rack’ of ribs. Flavour was good, but the ribs were way waay WAAAY overcooked. They were literally mush on the plate bones fell out when you tried to pick them up and mush remained on plate. Scooped mush up with spoon and ate it like soup. 🤢 Please learn how to cook ribs, they are supposed to stay on the bone and have bite so you can bite them off the bone and eat them. Serving size was reasonable, in saying that chicken Parma was great chips were excellent beer was cold. If it wasn’t for the massacred ribs it would be an easy 9/10.

Wednesday Trivia and rack of ribs is great, if you're black like me you'll stick out like a sore thumb but overall it's nice 👍🏾

We were camping close by and decided to go for a lunch here, plenty of seating inside and out, good range of beers on tap and the staff were friendly, everyone enjoyed the food, would recommend calling in for a refreshing ale and a bite to eat.

This place has lost its polish and meals are plain to what it used to be when we visited at Christmas time. Understand costs have risen but the markup on basic food is a bit pretentious. End cuts and scraps for the roast chicken pretty sad. Huge plates dont justify the actual food portions. Bar staff professional and welcoming though.

Maybe if the barmaid actually served us instead of only people she knew (that came to the bar after us) we would have had nice things to say. As it is, really unimpressed with the lack of service, or even acknowledging we were standing there, on a quiet Wednesday afternoon, so we left. Update.. email sent and no response..

Vegan options,nil. There is scope for more vegan options if they offered. Vegetarian option quite a few. Service quick . Not sofriendly but not rude, business like. Nice atmosphere. Pool tables big screen TV. Being vegan probably won't be back.

Huge outdoor area but is not pet friendly. nowhere to eat in this town if you have a dog. Not sure what the problem is.

Badest Check in ever in my life. Promised to put the keys outside close to the door, but it never happened and we had a night in our car. Thank you very much.

What a great meal, fresh and steak was perfect, well priced meal, compliments to chef and staff

The food was great and the hotel being in the main street you can't miss it.
