30 km from Port Macquarie. Great value. Sleepy little coastal village. 2 minutes walk to very nice bowling club. Rooms are perfectly decent.

Great experience. We were on the road with four young kids and needed a bed for the night. I called just before midnight and was thrilled to have someone answer. It wasn’t long before the 6 of us were all tucked in, in their family room. Comfortable, clean and easy. It was short but sweet. Thank you so much.

North Haven is a pretty little hamlet, great for a stopover between Brisbane and Sydney. And the Woongarra Motel was the perfect place to stay. Our Q+Single room has recently been tastefully renovated and spotlessly clean. There was a recliner couch, a well equipped kitchenette and the beds were comfy. The bathroom products were of high quality and we were able to watch Netflix on the smart TV. Highly recommend!

Easy to book online and able to pay upon arrival this motel is clean and comfortable and appears recently renovated. Large parking space outside your doer for convenience. Around the corner (literally) from Club North haven for easy meals and entertainment. Microwave, fridge in the room if required. Straight across the road from the lake makes it the perfect stay if you like a morning walk. Highly recommended

Luke and Peggy are excellent Hosts and served my needs during a long stay at their beautiful motel. I highly recommend them and Woongarra Motel to all.

My wife and I had a really great stay at the Woongarra Motel. Room 14 was recently renovated and comfortable. Great BBQ area and a nice clean pool. Location is the best with walking, fishing and swimming in the netted river area all very close by. Will be staying here again on our next trip

Woongarra Motel is a fantastic place to stay in a lovely setting across the street from the water at North Haven. The rooms are well maintained and extremely clean. They have a split system and ceiling fan, well appointed modern bathroom with a great shower and ample hot water. The recliner sofa is great after a long drive. There is a wonderful Cafe with excellent food just next door. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it as a great place to stay - not just for overnight. Thank you Woongarra.

The stay was very great with all the small luxuries and detail you would need for a comfortable stay, clean and well kept. The staff? AMAZING!! A special thank you from me personally because I left my iPad in the room upon being distracted during checkout. It was returned to me in Sydney about a week later with no trouble at all. In fact, staff went the extra mile, to locate and then get it back to me via a family member. I can't say enough good things about that. Good and honest people running a business is becoming a rare these days. Thank you Luke!

So happy that we found this gem on our way back home. Nearly missed out on the last room but grateful the manager was able to accommodate us. Very clean, renovated rooms with lovely furnishings. The bed was very firm which was good for us but not for all. Pillows ok. Great that the fridge has a seperate freezer so your ice bricks actually freeze overnight. Great location with lots of fabulous food and drinks choices close by and a fabulous walk along the water.

Woongara motel is likely our go to from now when we visit the beautiful town of North haven and surrounds or for a stopover. The motel is perfectly positioned opposite the lake and short drive to the beach, cafes nearby. The place was nothing short of perfect -- great pool with a tropical vibe; rooms were spacious, clean, well equipped with all kitchen essentials and ample wardrobe space; modern and clean bathroom; large parking spot right in front of the room. Overall great stay, highly recommend!

Clean, comfortable and modern rooms. Location is fabulous...located opposite river...short walk to cafes and club. Have stayed a few times as very easy drive from Sydney.

Just got hung up on by a rude gentleman when I asked for clarification on why their booking system shows $150 as the full rate and $170 on the night for a Queen Room. Person that handed him the phone clearly didn't understand the system either. If you had said that is our cash price or provided some explanation then I would have understood. Instead, your pricing is misleading and I was just trying to understand it. I was looking for 3 nights next week. In hindsight happy to look elsewhere.

I have stayed in this motel with my brother and father on various occasions over the many years we have visited north haven and we allways enjoyed our stay . the rooms are very good as well as the beutifull location , I plan on staying in this motel again in the near future for this reason and for good memories.
