A little hokey but sort of pleasant way to see the old town. Kind of pricey for what it is. Every driver gives you the same stories. It’s open air and hop on hop off. I don’t really go in for this type of touristy thing but it was bearable. You get to see a lot of the historical houses as you drive by, sometimes painfully slow. After departure it only makes 2 useful stops on the route. The last stop is next to the first.

The ticket price for this narrated open air tram tour of Key West was definitely worth it. The tour takes around 70 minutes to complete the full loop if you don't get off at any of the stops. The driver did a nice job telling about the history of Key West and also highlighted nearby attractions that could be accessed around each of the four or so stops. It got very rainy in the afternoon on the day that we were in Key West and the tram staff provided everyone with free disposable rain ponchos which was a nice touch. You can buy tickets in a few different locations and board the tram at any of its nearby stops, but the beginning of the tour actually starts near Mallory Square. The second stop is just a few blocks past the southernmost point, and it is also a couple blocks away from the Key West lighthouse and the Ernest Hemingway house, so we got off at that stop and then boarded another tram at that location after visiting the nearby attractions. Passengers are given a map showing the route, the stops, and the nearby attractions. We saw a lot of interesting architecture and learned a lot about the history of the area. There was plenty of beautiful scenery, but it was a little tricky to take pictures from a moving tram. Luckily my pictures came out better than I expected. You can ride the loop as many times as you want, so some people ride the entire loop one time and then on the second loop they get on and off at the different stops. All in all, this felt like money well spent because it saved a lot of walking and we learned a lot of history and got to do plenty of sightseeing in a short amount of time.

It was my first time in Key West and taking the train was a great way to spend the day! The tour guy did an excellent job explaining the history behind the buildings!! When paying for tickets they offer discounts on other attractions and a $5 booklet with the history to follow along and a map in the back. I love how you’re able to hop off at the assigned stops and hop right back on whenever! The train comes every 30min. Not only is it a great tour but also an excellent form of transportation.

We had a good time on the train and figured out how to navigate getting on and off at the different stops thanks to the train driver. The train was packed to capacity because there was a cruise ship that came into port and a lot of them wanted to take tours obviously. We were in town for a week and I wish we would've known so we could've chosen another day. Demand for seating was first come first serve and it was overwhelming because the cruise passengers had to get back to port at a certain time so they were pushy. Also, a lot of prejudiced passengers and tourists that come down from the other southern states. So my brown and black people, be prepared. Obviously most people are friendly, but some passengers were outright rude. The seating is as expected for a streetcar train but can get tight quickly when seated next to strangers. If you're over 5.9ft, it may be a little uncomfortable, not much leg room. Drivers were very knowledgeable, funny and friendly. Another downside, is that if you're in the back of the train, you can't hear the tour narrative as well. I would recommend that the train staff take the lead and encourage passengers to share seating when the train is packed because some passengers were reluctant to move over and wanted to hog multiple seats. Other than that, we had a wonderful time. Also, make sure not to get off the train until it stops for good and the train driver gets up! Some people got off at red lights or street corners and that's a big no-no! You only get off at the Conch stations! I believe there's 4 stops.

If this is your first time in Key West you will learn about the history of this boisterous city. The tour guide will share the legendary stories of this tropical paradise. 😃 There is plenty to see in the 75-minute sightseeing adventure, Hemingway’s home, you will learn about Mel Fisher’s lifelong search for sunken treasure, and see Harry Truman’s White House, to name just a few. The tickets are a bit pricey, but everything is expensive in Key West! 😞

This Conch Tour Train is worth the charge ($45) in Key West. It's a 70 minute ride that takes a couple pit stops that are about 15 minutes long and are also at souvenir shops. It's well worth it cuz they're unique and I was able to find a couple things I'd seen previously but didn't want to carry the mall

Our tour guide was amazing. He has lived in Key West his entire life and gave us a fantastic tour of the area. We were short on time and I felt like this 90 minute tour gave us a great insight to the area. It was baby friendly as well which was so nice to not walk around with our 8 month old.

Sign on the train reads...gratuities appreciated. Why??? Company not paying enough? What...customers paying to ride the "train" also have to tip?? Hotel stay....200 bucks a night...continental breakfast...and tip jar also!! Coffee shop...almost 4 bucks for a cup of coffee and a tip jar! We don't tip at all and most of you do out of habit or guilt...tipping is just...ridiculous. We actually seen...our own eyes..at a restaurant...bill came to 340 bucks for 5 people...Key West restaurant...won't name. Anyway...we seen the waitstaff person... 1. Seat them. 2. Brought water. 3. Took their orders. 4. Brought the food. 5. End of meal..ask..any desert? No...Brought the cheque. ZERO interaction. ZERO refil for water. They paid the bill...ZERO tip and they staff had the audacity to ask...why no tip! Heard the guy say...if you have to ask why...you'll never understand... Heck with tipping.

Worth it if you want to learn about old Key West. Tour length was appropriate for the cost. Our kids loved the ride around town.

It takes about an hour, Gabriel our driver was a very good story teller. I recommended taking it, you will learn more about Key West which will make you appreciated more. A bit pricey though

Awesome tour, if you can get on Kenny's train. He's a Conch and knows everything, and I mean everything about the island. If you're lucky, he'll throw in a few extras and

A must do in Key West. A Very informative tour. Great way to get a flavor of the island before you explore on your own. Your ticket is pretty much a day pass, so you could hop on and off all day if you see something interesting.

The World Famous Conch Tour Train in Key West was really a nice experience. Funny driver named Gabriel, made the ride entertaining and enjoyable. The Conch Tour Train is a great way to learn a little bit of the history and exploring things to do in Key West. During the ride, the train tour made stops outside the Southernmost Point, the beaches, Shipwreck Museum, Ernest Hemingway House and many other tourists attractions. It was a great way to explore bits and pieces of what Key West has to offer and afterwards, we can decide which tourist attractions we want to purchase tix and spend more time with.

This was a terrific tour. Great staff, terrific route and tour content. Just when we needed a restroom- we stopped at their gift shop with plentiful clean restrooms. Recommend stay on the 75 min full tour to really soak it in! Thanks to Todd our guide!

Chief (Ben) was an awesome tour guide...very funny & informative. The tour is a really nice way to see the town & learn the history of Key West. The train is comfortable & the on/off feature of the tour means you can fit it into your day of sightseeing & visiting the sites easily. Would definitely recommend to a fellow traveler.

Super fun and informative train ride! The driver was knowledgeable and funny! The only thing that would greatly improve the comfort of the ride would be to make the seats deeper, it was quite painful to our knees to fit in these narrow spaces. Still, if you're looking for a fun sightseeing tour of Key West, this is the one!

This is a great way to criss-cross key west and get to see the history, it is actually the original tourist ride, but the ability to hop on and hop off at 4 locations means you can get around at some key points giving you an fun and informative way to get around.

👍👍 Captain John, Jesse, and Paige were fabulous! We (family of 4) went on the dolphin/snorkeling cruise, and it was well worth it. We saw lots of dolphins, a sea turtle, and the snorkel site was filled with coral and lots of fish. Drinks (soda, water, juice, beer) were included. The snorkel gear and li...

😠 We had just missed a trolly and thought no worries we'll just wait the 30 minutes for another one. When it arrived it was full and our group couldn't get on. The driver didn't call for another trolly and said they'd be another in 30 minutes. We had to call and complain before we finally were able...
