I never write reviews but I felt I needed to tell the world what an amazing, kind, creative, tolerant, fun, funny, easy going man Dan is! He truly made our special day that much more amazing! My husband and I originally met Dan in 2012 when we were married at sunrise on the beach in Key West. Most recently we made a last minute trip to Key West for an early 10 year anniversary get away and reached out to Dan again and asked if he would officiate the renewal of our vows. Without hesitation he agreed, even with VERY little notice. He was wonderful both in 2012 and 2022. We love how easy he is to work with and how accommodating he is. Not to mention his photos are stunning. We truly feel honored to have had Dan start our life together and to officiate our ‘We Still Do.’ Highly recommend!!!

Dan is the man!! I reached out to Dan a few months before the big day after finding him online doing some research on local officiants. I immediately got a good vibe from him. He was very responsive and informative throughout the process, available via email and phone. He was cognizant of our preferences and included us in the process. On the day of everything went off without a hitch. Dan was nice enough to pick us up and give us a ride to Smathers Beach where we were married, just the two of us, at sunset. The ceremony was followed by about an hour of professional photography. I have not seen the pictures yet but I have a very good feeling they are going to be great. It was obvious Dan was very knowledgeable about the area and where to get the best shots. It ended up being an absolutely perfect evening, barely a cloud in the sky. Our small casual wedding was on Smathers Beach on 12/16/18. I was referred to Key West Casual Weddings by a dear friend who scheduled a last minute wedding in Key West 2 years ago, using KWCW. We were extremely pleased with Dan's services from start to finish! He is truly a one-stop shop - all I had to do was make decisions. He is very knowledgeable about all things Key West and has built relationships with vendors that greatly facilitate in planning and execution. Dan was even kind enough to drop us at the site of our reception since all of our guests had already headed there while he was taking our wedding photographs. Personal touches such as this rate high in my book. We highly recommend his services!

Dan married us this past June and planned a wonderful and sentimental ceremony for us. He married my parents several years prior on the same beach. He was amazing! We cannot express our deepest appreciation for Dan Leatherman and his handling of our special day. Dan was also helpful with other details related to the wedding such as flowers, hair, makeup and hotel accommodations. We arrived in Key West with hurricane Michael looming out in the ocean headed for Florida. Needless to say, that created quite a bit of anxiety for us both. Dan did his best to put our minds at ease telling us we would make it work regardless of the weather. As the big day finally arrived, he went out of his way to make everything perfect and came up with many different ideas on photo’s. Our photo's were amazing. Our ceremony was just what anyone would want. Dan chose the perfect location overlooking the ocean. Dan was very professional, friendly and easy to work with. Dan performed an intimate ceremony for us on Smathers Beach that was absolutely perfect. We cried, we laughed, we came completely unprepared having left our license at the hotel. "Not a problem!" Said Dan. His voice carried a tone you'd expect from a decon, mixed with a little mischievous humor in the undertone. The ceremony was an ideal mix of elegantly formal and casual.
