Sammy's Creek is an old haunt, the history there is not necessarily the real history. As I'm told back in the days of the Cocaine Cowboys it may or may not have been a regular drop off point. Direct access to the ocean shallow water Flats, and a boat ramp with access to the main Highway but off the beaten path. For a short while it was taken over by the DEA oh, and even used by other government agencies until one day the house that was on it was torn down and somebody build a park. Great spot to relax watch the boats walk around and even bend a rod. Definitely off the beaten path and a cool place to visit if you can find it.

My husband and I have been coming to this little park for over a decade. We were pleasantly surprised to see some of the renovations this trip. We love coming here to fish and just relax. With only a few parking spots you sometimes have to park on the road and walk in, bit it's a very low traffic street so no worries. Bring a picnic and sit under the pavilion. It really is a cute little place.

Great little stop! Crystal clear water. We want to come back to kayak! Free parking but only a couple spaces.

Very nice but small park and limited parking, maybe 6 cars. Kayak Launch is very good also. We kayaked down the creek, very senic and loads of wildlife but can have some boat traffic.

Great little spot, but bugs are bad at sunrise and sunset. Covered picnic area, concrete paths, nice parking lot with handicapped parking, nice landscaping. Boat landing is way difficult to negotiate with boat but okay for kayaks or small watercraft. Great views, good bird watching, information boards. No walking access into ocean, rocky shore. Boats cross under bridge from the sound to the ocean. One of my favorite secret places to steal away some time to myself or share with company.

Great spot. Saw some folks fishing while we enjoyed our coffee in the picnic area. Worth the drive a little off the beaten path!

A great place to have a picnic, do some fishing, snorkel, kayak or paddle board. Lots of bait around too. Sadly, the boat ramp is not open for launching your boat but can be used for kayaks or paddle boards. Be aware of boats and jet skis running too fast through the creek. While they should be operating on a safe manner, they usually don't. Wish it were no wake zone before someone gets hurt.
