I've been to a lot of bars, and had a lot of great bartenders and great drinks. Here at the Rum Bar, the bartender Mark made one of the very best Piña Coladas I've had. Ever. In my entire life. He was a delight to talk to, and his cocktails were nothing short of God-tier. Key West has a lot of incredible things to experience, but this was one of my absolute favorites. I cannot recommend this place enough. 11/10.

A cozy place with awesome Drinks and great bartenders. Sitting outside on the front porch underneath the Palmtrees with a Drink in my Hand and nice music in the background has been one of our daily Highlights during our stay in Key West. One of the best Drinks is the Key Lime pie Martini

The best local Speakeasy in Key West. I love this place. Drinks are made with quality rums and a place where you can hear yourself speak. If you like a good rum, or any other top knit h drink and like to go somewhere more relaxed and enjoyable, this place is for you.

The largest selection of rum on the island, everything up to $300 a shot. This place has the very best rum flights in town. Amazing bartender that has so much knowledge and is a fun nice guy too. Great craft cocktails or just some of the best rum straight on the rocks. The building has some fantastic history. Be sure to check out the gingerbread on the second floor, it has rum bottles cut into it when this place was a speakeasy during prohibition times. A don't miss bar also great for people watching on Duval. Go next door to the hat shop and pick out a great Panama hat also. You have to look stylish while drinking your rum.

We stopped in multiple times during our stay. Each time we had great service amazing drinks and friendly bartenders. Our last night we went there for some last min rum runners and our bartender Constantine was AMAZING he was hilarious and loved to make new drinks. Was a great last night in KW due to Him. We absolutely will be back.

Great place with friendly staff and all the rum and rum drinks anyone could ever need. Really enjoyed everything and got to hear about the history of this house through the Key West food tour. We’ll definitely be back to try more rum.

Definitely check out this spot on Duval! My boyfriend and I have come here every night on our 5 day trip. The Chaitini is delicious, the banana split, espresso martini, and the key lime martini! Konstantine is the best bartender. Great drinks, great service, and great atmosphere.

Constantine was a phenomenal bartender! We Oder run runner at first and they were excellent. Then we came back again and Ordered rum cherry Pilar old fashion (smoked)! And I got a run daiquiri. Very great craft cocktails. Great drinks. Great service!

Wonderful experience here. Fantastic rum selection. If you're a novice there's a printed book to get you started, or a large rum index sorted by both brand and country of origin. You may also choose to ignore that and just look around the bar as there are many wonderful rums that haven't made their way into the catalog. The only way to know what they've got in stock is to show up as there's nothing available online. The pours are good and you can also do rum flights, either making your own or there are preselected options. Constantin is a delight. Makes the best rum old fashioned on the island.

Great little place on the main drag with fun cocktails (I had guava breeze) for every taste — and plenty of non-rum drinks, too.

My experience of The Rum Bar was one of a magical experience involving a Pain Killer, followed by a Hurricane and a Hemingway Daiquiri. All of the drinks where spectacular and the atmosphere was equally the same. We arrived jut before fourth of July weekend and the bar was set out perfectly. *the finger the the photo was for reference.

Visited June 2023 and had a great and generous rum flight. The bartender provided good suggestions and the other patrons were friendly and knowledgeable about rum. Highly recommended!

This place is the real deal. If you want to try different types of rum you won’t find in many places, you need to come here. This is not a tourist trap on Duval. I walked in about 45 minutes before closing time but managed to have a flight. Tastings range from $25 to $300 depending on what you get and I settled for $70. This included J.M Rhum from Martinique, El Dorado from Guyana, Foursquare from Barbados, SelvaRey (co-owned by Bruno Mars) from Panamá, and Luxus from Guyana and Barbados for 10 years and Spain for five years. These bottles retail for about $150 each. I also learned Plantation is one of the best affordable rums out there for those who are looking to replace Bacardi and Captain Morgan from their cocktails for something of higher quality. Great place to go down a little rum rabbit hole and learn so much! I stopped by the evening of the 24th of October and the bartender was great. I believe his name was Mark.

Best drinks in the Keys and one of the best bartenders anywhere! Super knowledgeable about all of the rums and great conversation. Next time I visit Key West I'll be sure to stop in again.

I couldn't imagine a better selection. The bartender was surly, but knowledgeable and very tolerant of our shenanigans after we had a few. Can't blame him! Be sure to ask about the different types rum, the various drinks and recipes for famous Key West cocktails. The building itself has an interesting history as well.

Very chill bar with very friendly bartender! Definitely recommend you try the Goombay Splah it was awesome, one of the best non watered down drinks ive had the whole trip!
