Local to the keys so we frequent the area quite often. Decided to try a new spot that had something more than just fish on the menu. I wasn’t really impressed with the place. The food was so-so for the prices. I feel like we missed out on good dining in the town because we settled for this spot. The drinks were not good. The juices they mix in were very very bitter. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out well done. The service was slow and when we asked for condiments when our food came out, they never brought any. We will not be returning.

Five stars is not enough! The Boat House was highly recommended by several people staying at the campground on the navy base. So glad they suggested that we try the place out. We went at Happy Hour and thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed an early dinner. The food was amazing, I really enjoyed the coconut shrimp! The rest of the food was also delicious. This is going to be a regular place for us to visit.

Recently visited Key West and our hotel shuttle driver suggested we try Boat House Bar & Grill for their happy hour. All of the "small plates" are half price along with some of their drinks. We throughly enjoyed our visit here and the food and service were excellent even during happy hour and it was packed.

The Best happy hour we have found in Key West. 4-630pm 50% off beer, select wines and cocktails, and all small plates! Great view from anywhere in the restaurant. Pet friendly and family friendly. The place fills up fast right at 4 so try and show up a few minutes early. Staff has always been nice and the drinks are great.

The great service at the bar was friendly, prompt, and professional. Very good draft beer selection ranging from Guiness Stout to local brews. The food menu included a very good selection of appetizers. The lobster bisque and tenderloin kabobs were delicious. The kabobs came with a small side salad topped with blue cheese. The menu also had a very good selection of entrees, but the appetizers were enough to fill me up. The ambiance at the spacious bar was great. The location right on the marina is beautiful.

Pretty new to the Key West scene. We got lots of recommendations, but we ignored them to try Boat House. Maybe one of the best Happy Hour deals I've ever experienced. The small plates menu was pretty darn delicious, and the Happy Hour is half price! We tried 6 different plates, all good. Our favorite was the ribs, but the wings weren't far behind. Great service too, very kind and timely.

This restaurant was recommended by a local and while the location is great, the food was just okay. We weren’t that hungry so we ordered a couple of appetizers: ribs and calamari. Calamari was good but the ribs were cold. Sticky toffee dessert was good but way too sweet. Our server Facuno (I think) was great. Overall, had a fun time sitting by their patio watching people walk by and the sunset.

I enjoyed the happy hour food option. It was very excellent and tasteful. The food serving was very fast! I was very well pleased how fast they were in removing the dirty plates from the table as well. And a special shout out to Kasie you were outstanding. Not expensive place but as for our first trip to key west it was a great place to dine in!

This was the first happy hour we went to in key west and it was awesome! Our wait staff was so friendly, the food was excellent, the drinks were great! A very good mojito! We had conch fritters and peel and eat shrimp. We also saw a manatee in the water right outside the restaurant. This happy hour was a little better than some others, as they included a few other drinks, and the app menu was really good. We ended up back here a couple nights later, it was such a great experience.

It is one of the best restaurants for fried seafood in Keys (I usually don't like fried food, but this is an exception). Fresh, crunchy, and tasty. Oh the best part is that the restrooms got cold AC vs the hot/warm ocean temperatures 😆 🤣. Highly recommend if you are around.

This place was our last stop for lunch before we left for the airport. The view of the waterfront was fantastic. Our server was Lindsey and she was a delight to work with. She was quick and attentive. My wife ordered the burger which she said was good and I ordered the Fried Grouper Sandwich. The grouper was not what I expected, it was greasy, I think I expected crunchy. It was still good just a little difficult to handle as it kept sliding out of the bun. The French fries were fantastic and so were the lemonades. I had the peach and my wife had the mango. All in all, a great place to have lunch and people watch as all the boats come into the docks and unload their passengers.

Dockside restaurant located in the historic seaport. Accessible walking on the dock starting close to Duval or one of the parallel streets, can’t remember the name but easily found on google maps. They have a great happy hour menu from 4:30 to 6:30 pm with half off their small plate options which is many. Including drinks and beers. Our waitress, Jewels was wonderful. Very professional and attentive. Wear light close as there is no AC, but plenty of wall and ceiling fans to keep the breeze going. The food is pretty quick to come out of the kitchen, so you won’t spend too much time away from the Key West attractions. I saw a YouTube review on this restaurant and decided to try it out. It did not disappoint. I highly recommend it.

Very busy place but server attentive and apologetic if she thought she wasn't. Meal of yellow snapper, shrimp and mushrooms accompanied with house salad and fries was tasty and piping hot to the table. A big plus for me. Spouse had the key lime pie and coffee and he raved about it. Highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent quality all round.

Walked right in with a party of 12 at almost 6pm on Thanksgiving day when we found out the wait at Pepe's would be a minimum of 3 hours. We are so glad we ended up here! Great service and excellent food. Some of our party had seafood which was cooked well and some of the party had the Thanksgiving day special which was beautiful. The view of the board made this Thanksgiving dinner one to remember.

My group enjoyed their meal here. The ambiance of the restaurant is great. We actually saw a shark in the water right next to the restaurant - pretty neat. Some people in my group said that the steak they ordered was some of the best they’d ever eaten. I enjoyed my fish n chips! Our waitress was knowledgeable and responsive! Would come back!

Fantastic happy hour. 4-6:30 pm small plates are half off. We ordered the coconut shrimp, lobster tempura, fish bites & conch fritters. We sat outside and enjoyed the marina view. Our server was friendly and attentive. A great experience and we will definitely be back!

When I asked several locals where they would suggested to eat, they suggested Boat House. After visiting, understandably so. It was amazing! After spending time at the beach and swimming I had worked up an appetite. The Boat House it's located right in the water, very close to center of downtown. The waitress was very friendly and had great follow-up. The environment is lively and they played awesome music the entire time, I found myself dancing in my seat. I ordered the bites, a delicately fried grouper which was the fish of the day. Serve with a great dipping sauce. For dinner I ordered the fresh lobster, mashed potatoes and vegetables consisting of green beans, carrots and onions. Perfectly cooked. The lobster was probably some of the best I've ever had! It was served with drawn butter. So, so GOOD!! I sat right by the water and saw the last remaining remnants of the sunset. Great experience, wonderful food. I highly suggest Boat House when you visit Key West! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had dinner here and it has a great atmosphere, I got the shrimp scampi with potatoes and rice and they have large portions ! All three of us had the lobster bisque and was delicious as well. The sticky toffee dessert was to die for but some people may find it too sweet though I enjoyed it and have a massive sweet tooth. My parents tried the conch fritters and were unimpressed as they felt they were undercooked and very mushy on the inside

We decided to eat here after disembarking from a sunset cruise. The boathouse bar and grill was recommended to us because of their happy hour. Started with a rum runner cocktail and conch fritters. Then boathouse fish & chips (made with the catch of day) which happen to be grouper and not cod. My wife said it was the best fish & chips ever. Finished with the key lime pie for dessert. Definitely will come back to experience happy hour.

Located in the harbor, this restaurant is having beautiful view over the ocean. Their portions are huge, one dish can fit 2 persons. The fish and seafood were fresh and tasty. Service was good as well.

Great find! Wasn’t sure if it would just be a tourist restaurant but it wasn’t! The food was delicious! We split the Caesar salad and fish and chips. The vibe was great, staff was attentive, and great pours on the drinks!

Use to be called turtle krull and now it's the Boathouse at turtle krull. The best happy hour with half priced appetizers and domestic beers on Key west from 4 to 6:30 everyday. Our go to place from now on.

The waitress Jules is the best I was lucky to have the catch of the day to be Grouper. 😍 They have the best shoestring fies

Nice on the water atmosphere, dining experience in The Mallory Square area of Key West. The food was basic, but the service given by Kasie was great 👍! She gave very pleasant and attentive customer service that changed the score to a 3. The front door hostess was pretty rude upon arrival as I questioned about the turtle crawl, she just walked Away as she stated it went away during covid. My party and I planned to leave but decided to give it a try as in the past the food was good including the fun with turtles. Give it a try if you like.

Great place on the water. 4-6 half off certain drinks and small plates (appetizers) the Buffalo shrimp, amazing. Wings were great, conch-not my thing but good. Gotta try those buffalo shrimp---so good

100% come here for happy hour. It's half off all starters and beers that are already cheap regularly. You're probably here because you drove the almost 4 hour drive from Miami anyways so just pig out here before you head home. Everything was tasty and satisfying and that's everything you can ask for for this kind of value. I would recommend some of my favorite items but honestly just select a handful and try them all!! Parking was easy in a huge lot next to this area that's paid (free on some days/hours). There wasn't AC inside which was a huge bummer but there are lots of fans circulating I suppose. Food: 7/10 Service: 8/10 Atmosphere: 6/10 Value: 10/10

We went here the first day we got to Key West. We sat at the bar and the service was great, I noticed the service table was also on point, very attentive servers. The food was okay, honestly nothing that stood out to us. We tried several plates, it's good food but nothing special. You know I keep it honest. The atmosphere is a mix between locals and tourists but pretty decent. Their piña coladas are pretty tasty! They do have a really, really nice view of the pier so that is definitely worth it to check it out!!! They are one of the few spots in that area that are open till "late" but not too late. Overall I recommend it! 🔥🔥
