After
visiting
Key
West
many
times
over
the
past
few
decades,
we
finally
stopped
in
to
have
dinner
at
A&B…
The
views
of
the
boat
docks
and
water
from
here
at
sunset
are
beautiful.
The
décor
is
nice
inside,
as
it
has
an
upscale
vibe.
Service
was
just
‘ok’
as
we
found
it
rather
impersonal
and
somewhat
rushed,
even
though
they
weren’t
very
busy.
The
food
was
decent,
definitely
not
the
best
seafood
we
had
on
this
recent
trip
and
given
the
“upscale”
vibe
of
this
place,
I
expected
much
more
from
them.
They
give
off
the
flair
of
a
hi-end
chophouse
type
of
joint,
but
our
food
definitely
didn’t
meet
the
expectations
of
what
you’d
get
at
a
nicer
steak/chophouse.
Their
shrimp
cocktail
was
really
good
though,
definitely
interesting
presentation,
as
they
straighten
the
shrimp,
versus
leave
them
curled.
The
cocktail
sauce
that
accompanied
it
was
excellent,
but
the
horseradish
that
came
with
it
was
more
on
the
bland
side.
The
roasted
pear
salad
didn’t
have
much
gorgonzola
to
accompany
it
and
the
pear
wasn’t
plated
are
nicely
as
I
would
have
expected,
just
a
poached
pear
sliced
in
half
and
put
on
the
plate.
The
greens
were
slightly
on
the
warm
side
too.
They
Yellowtail
Meuniere
was
ok,
far
from
exciting
or
very
flavorful.
The
prices
were
incredibly
high
for
the
quality
of
the
service
and
food…
I
can
now
say
that
we’ve
eaten
here
and
upon
future
trips,
doubt
we’ll
return.
There
are
far
more
seafood
places
on
the
island
that
execute
preparation
and
plating
of
hi-quality,
fresh
seafood
much
better!
