Visiting from Belgium. Figured we’d try this place as it looked good, felt like we could do some Italian food. Outdoor and indoor seating. Felt the food was overpriced for the quality. We were both not fully satisfied with what we had. Also added balsamic vinegar to everything instead of having it on the side. Wine was overpriced so we skipped getting a bottle. Will say the martini we had was good and strong. Reason for 3 stars. Waiter says “we have everything ok the menu” then after placing our order they don’t have crab meat so that negated a couple dishes one that we wanted. Not busy. Slow to come back. Gave us only one piece of bread each and they kept bringing one at a time instead of giving us a basket with a couple pieces each. Portions were a bit small too. My dish had a potato side and only was a couple cut up potatoes. We probably won’t ever go back here.

The food is EXCEPTIONAL. I had eggplant parmesan and oh my.. so yummy. I came back the second night for more. (My husband is Cuban and grew up in Key West) This was a very special vacation for him, I've never been to key West before.

*Outstanding* food, with extra touches that are well appreciated. One of the best meals I had in Key West - and I went twice. The sweet Ukrainian bartender was polite, attentive and the bar was a nice way to enjoy the experience.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Excellent service, very well prepared food. The attention of the waiters is very good. The atmosphere of the place is excellent for a romantic evening. The prices seem very good. It does not have parking, but very close there are parking options starting at $13.

We came here for dinner, the host was alright, because my boyfriend was very specific about the seat. Server was friendly but the most amazing part is the food, 10/10

Unfortunately the experience I recently had at the Trat was not as fulfilling as my many previous visits. I got my normal Tortellini A La Ramano. The Tortellini needed slightly more cooking, but what really threw me off this dish was the Ham. The Ham was a different kind, I am thinking Black Forest. The Ham changed the taste of the whole dish, as you can see how much of the Ham I didn't eat. The food was plated different from every other visit as well. I hope this is a one time thing.

The pasta was amazing! The service was incredible. They are great about customizing pasta as well!

Absolutely delicious menu. My wife and I were in town for our 21st Anniversary on Thanksgiving Day and we're fortunate enough to be able to dine - sans the reservation. Fantastic and attentive staff. A definite must try menu.

Went to LaTrattoria to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Best restaurant in Key West! Food is incredibly delicious and the service and ambiance matches.

This was our best meal of the week. It is a casual place, but with white linen tablecloths. Our service was very good and the food was outstanding. We had veal, gnocchi, pasta, and antipasto. They meals were all very good and the portions were all large. They have some speciality drinks as well on the menu. It wasn't much more expensive than other places, but it was a great meal. (Sorry I didn't take pics)

We had a wonderful meal here and loved our waitress. I wish I remembered her name. She was so helpful and attentive. She even suggested a smaller serving of the pasta for me - does not show on menu - and you can ask for it. I had an amazing gluten free pasta with crab meat. My husband had the lasagna and said it was fabulous. Great wine selections and bread. Highly recommend eating here.

Fantastic. Excellent Service and Fair. We highly recommend it as a must when you are visiting KW. Be sure to check out Virgilio's which is in the back for an after dinner drink. The Espresso Martini and sidecar was a treat.

We dined two nights, and the food is wonderful. Walter was our server the first night, and Ameth was our server the second night; both were outstanding!

Overall a lovely dinner at La Trattoria. Very nice atmosphere and delicious food. Well worth the price. A lovely take on the traditional caprese with a fresh salad. The chicken marsala was flavourful and creamy. Some of the best chicken I've ever eaten. Improvements: I'd prefer if there was a range of breads to go with the olive oil and balsamic dip. Being given only one piece of bread at a time is very frustrating and awkward. Kept having to ask the waiter for more bread. A bread basket would be very appreciated. With that being said, it was a divine dinner with very good service and some of the best food in Key West. Would definitely return.

Everything we had was amazing and service to match. I don’t think you could go wrong ordering anything on the menu!

We had a slightly large group (7) and made a reservation ahead of time. We planned the rest of our evening around that reservation time. We weren’t seated for over 30 minutes past our time despite the restaurant being very empty. The hostess insisted we wait for this specific table (even thought it was too small for 7 people anyway) because they didn’t want to pull 2 tables together - before you ask, they weren’t claimed by other reservations and no one sat in any of the open tables the rest of the evening. And the tables were in the same section, so would have been the same waitress. It really just ruined the vibe and caused a lot of unnecessary stress. The food was good, but it wasn’t worth the stress. If you have no where to be, then this could be a good option. However, I would NOT recommend if you need a specific reservation time, as they are unreliable.

My wife and I stopped in the night our flight landed in Key West. It was late but they were more than happy to serve us. Dinner was outstanding and the service matched. We went several nights dinning out and kept talking about how good the Italian restaurant was. Tonight we decided to go again and the food and service did not disappoint! The server remembered us and thanked us for coming back… This is a must try.

Had a craving for some creamy, warm, flavorful pasta and wow they delivered more than we expected! We got the Fettuccine Alfredo and the Penne Venezia, both of these pastas blew us away! Soo flavorful, creamy, and piping hot! We had placed a carry out order so didn't expect such amazing quality. Even the bread was soft and warm. Highly recommend!! I have dined-in at this place a couple times already, so far every dish has been very well balanced on presentation, size and price of it. We had appetizers and a couple Entrees. Lasagna, chicken marsala, Caneloni and Fettuccine!Different italian options for either pasta, meat or fish lovers! Menu is pretty diverse and the server explained a couple special additions they had for the night. Drinks were excellent (check their Martinis), dessert chocolate mousse was to die for also! Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a dining experience with some real flavor! Will be back again soon!

Sunday: Very attentive service and our meals were delicious. Ask for Ashton as your server. Friday: Just a quick update - meal was so good and service so well done on Sunday that we returned tonight. Service very different this evening.

Loved the service and atmosphere. The food and drinks arrived very quickly. Our server was attentive and quick. My girl liked her pasta, but my pasta was another story. My pasta wasn't even that bad, just bland. But the menu promised jumbo lump crab, at a great price. But all I got was a small amount of lump crab, no jumbo involved. I don't mind paying, I mind being lied to.

We made reservations for Monday, February 14th. We got there 20 minutes early. The young lady at the reservations desk said our table wasn't ready and recommended we get a drink at the bar. I got a vodka soda and she got the expresso martini. Both were very good. My wife's phone alerted her that our table was ready 21 minutes later. A minute went by as we cashed out at the bar. We went to the reception booth and told her our name. She said " we almost gave your table away" I was like we just got the message our table was ready at the bar, cashed out and came right to her. She mumbled something under her breath and showed us to our table. We sat there for 15 minutes till our server came and gave us bread. It was another 10 minutes till he came back to get our order. In the meantime 2 couples with no reservations were seated served and eating their food within half hour. We both ordered lasagna. An hour later we still haven't received our food. I asked where our food was he said oh you ordered lasagna which takes some time. I said an hour to make lasagna? 5 minutes later our lasagna come out. It wasn't baked completely the lasagna noodles were not cooked completely and hardly any cheese in side the lasagna. Bar was good, restaurant and service was a total fail. We have been living in Key West for the past 3 years and this restaurant was the biggest disappointment to date.

The food was delicious, definitely authentic Italian cuisine, we sat outside which for some may be a little rowdy because it's on the sidewalk, but it was perfect the night we went. Just the right amount of things to see and watch go by. The food came out a little slower than some may like, but for an Italian restaurant, it wasn't too bad of a wait. Their bread and olive oil dip was delicious, as well as their large selection of martinis. Everyone really enjoyed their food and I would certainly recommend this place on a warm day in the early evening

Went again for the second time. I truly love this special place. Ahmed was our waiter, he was truly amazing and added to the experience. If you want great authentic Italian food and time away from the hustle/bustle of Key West then LaTrattoria Restaurant is the place for you!
