Authentic Caribbean food place in Key West. Small but the best food tasted during our trip. Loved their jerk chicken wrap with caramelized onions, perfectly spiced and balanced. Ordered their corn on the cob and it was perfectly spiced. Best place for Caribbean food if you are in town

Awesome food! Snapper on rice with red sauce sooo good! Roasted corn was super and grouper sandwich was great! Lovely people even in a ridiculous fake pandemic crisis! They were open and not acting worried a bit. Playing latin music and singing like it was a typical Key West Saturday night. Loved it!

Bien was a good informal place to have lunch. The rice bowl was filled with rice, meat, black beans and garnished with cilantro. It comes with chips to balance all the flavors. You can order it with or without jalapeños. Be prepared though, the place is outdoors and it has fans that don't cool enough when it's 100°F +

We got the rice bowl and it did not disappoint! The chicken was flavorful and juicy. They split to rice into black bean and a little spicy. The chicken marinade was sweet. Will def visit again!

Great Caribbean and Latino food. Had a lunch date with my wife here. She had the pulled pork with black beans and white rice and I had Palomilla steak with onions and side of white rice and pickled cabbage. Great fast service and delicious food. Additionally they have sandwiches and full bowl lunches that you can share with others. Small seating area, but perfect for a small group, families, or a couple to enjoy food and a good conversation. If you visiting Key West, you should definitely check out this place and try the food.

Amazing!!! It lived up to all the hype!! There was a super long queue and it was a warm day... But our patience paid off... We had the much reviewed corn and we had the carne and rice & scallops in red sauce... We also enjoyed the music and the cool island vibes! Great place!!

Before my latest visit in December 2017 The last time I came here in April 2014 it was a whole in the wall that served exceptionally amazing food. Since then its been featured on Food Network, Travel Channel, Zagat Rated, & Trip advisor top rated recommendation. So now come the 2X prices to 2014 prices lol. But still Excellent!

General Cuban plates and sandwiches. Light tropical music plays on the background. Very limited seating space. You order at the counter, take a seat, bus your table. No bad at all. Although the #2 could havr been a bit less salty and grease, the size was substantial. The prices will be more than anyone is used to because resources around here are limited and the logistic expensive, so expect to pay more than anticipated.

I enjoy traveling and most of all I love to talk to the people of the area to learn interesting points and places from the indigenous locals. On the plane down to Key West, I sat next to a very nice person who I found through chatting, lived in Key West. She opened up and told me where to go to eat away from the touristy Duval Street. She suggested Bien, a restaurant that offers Cuban and Caribbean fare. A storefront restaurant located on a corner, this place was like stepping into transport capsule and beaming right to Cuba. The food was out fricken standing! I had the shredded pork and it was spiced to perfection. You can only dine outside and to protect from the blazing sun during the hot days they put up an awning to protect those from the tropical heat. Try this place...I truly think you will love it!
