We stumbled upon this gem while walking down Duval street. It was a perfect found. The lobster rolls were juicy, fresh and good portions. They have a daily break from 4-5pm. We were so lucky with our timing and seated right away without waiting for a table. Highly recommend if you’re in Key West area.

Our first visit to key west. My friend suggest this place for lobster rolls!! OH MY GOSH…. Those lobster roll was sublime. It was the very best I’ve ever ever had. The bread was soft yet crispy. It was overflowing with real lobster. It was so so good. If you don’t go there you’ll be missing an amazing culinary experience!! Their service and staff are so nice. DON’T STOP ANYWHERE GO THERE FIRST!

Pretty good, low key small place with outdoor seating. There is no actual indoor space to sit at. A local girl at the Truman Museum mentioned this place for a quick bite. Order up at the window and sit at a table or near the front. The conch chowder soup was amazing. The conch fritters and clams were pretty good too. Prices are reasonable. Key West is all about seafood and this is a good spot to try until you find one to call your own.

If you are in Key West you cannot miss the appointment with the lobster roll at DJ's Clam Shack, very good and tasty. The bread is appetizing, the lobster is fresh and the toppings, sauce and side salad are also very good. Also try the fried prawns: excellent. The price for the standard lobster roll is a bit high ($25 + tax) but it's really worth a try, also because it's unique and distinctive and the lobster is quite hearty. The restaurant is very simple and spartan, but clean and quaint, with a few seats in the back; fast service and courteous staff. A culinary experience not to be missed!

DJ’s clam shack was a great lunch option for us during our trip! Friendly staff and great food. As I’m not the biggest seafood fan, I had the chicken tenders and they were very above average. They were great! My friends loved the conch fritters. Fries and homemade BBQ sauce are also delicious.

Their lobster is really fresh and the roll taste great. Also the fry conch is tender and flavorful. Clam chowder is not bad either. The problem is there is no indoor area at all. I guess I went there at the worst time, Summer afternoon at 3. It was way to hot and I cannot enjoy the great food. Just want to finish quickly and go somewhere with AC.

The best service! Service has been challenged during the pandemic but this place was exceptional from greeting to departure. Thanks so much! To top it off out lobster rolls were legit and tasted both authentic and amazing. This place didn’t disappoint.

DJ's Clam Shack isn't the typical place I'd visit because I like going in to sit down in a restaurant with comfortable seating and the AC due to some of my physical health limitations. I wasn't uncomfortable here as we didn't take long to ravish through our food, lol! I sat at the little and bar out front with my family so I could watch people walk by but there are seating in the back that looks like picnic tables. I love seafood and researched places to visit while in Key West. As someone who loves watching shows involving food and travel, I was determined to stop here after watching an older episode of Triple D on my streaming service. This was the best lunch/dinner for the family while touring! My hubby had the shrimp roll, our college aged son had fried shrimp basket, then my teen son & I had lobster rolls. That sandwich is no joke! We loved the amount of lobster and that delicious buttery sourdough roll it's on...I had sweet potato fries and cole slaw while the rest of family enjoyed their potato fries and onion rings. The service is friendly and quick. I recommend it to locals and tourists. I'm going to get there whenever I'm in Key West again! 😋

Ate here with my daughter after seeing several video reviews, we were not disappointed! I had the warm lobster roll with I felt was worth the $25 easy. Best sandwich I've ever had. And the coleslaw was fantastic on and off the roll! My daughter got the daily special of coconut shrimp & fries for $16. The shrimp were huge and plentiful! Washed it down with an ice cold beer and was in heaven. The guy that served us was super friendly (not the fake type either) and appeared to love his job. I can't wait to go back!

The best lobster roll I’ve ever eaten!!!! The price is also unbeatable. I have added this place to our Key West itinerary after watching several videos with raving reviews about this place. And it totally lived up to the expectations!!!!! Such a friendly staff and absolutely delicious lobster, generous portions of lobster meat on delicious brioche toasted bun. We liked it so much that we went there very next day! Definitely check it out!

WOOOOOOW. what an amazing lobster sandwich. Honestly one of the best I have ever tried. Wanted to order different fries and staff told us it’s a huge portion. So helpful. So honest. Loved that fact. Super amazing place. Definitely I’ll recommend this place to everyone who’s going there.

Been waiting to visit this spot for a while since I saw it on Food Networks Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives‼️ This quaint little shacks has some great flavor with the service to match‼️ I had the World Famous Steamed Clams, those Cracked Conch and a Bud Light‼️ And the Lobster Roll ain't no slouch as well‼️🦞💪🏾💯 I had to dip my garlic bread in the Garlic and Butter broth and YES.....I drank the broth as well‼️ #burp.....It was so damn good, I will always make a stop whenever we are back in Key West. I believe they have 4 locations???? Check them out.....I'll be Baaaack‼️🦞🍺💯💪🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥

Not only the best fried clams in Key West, but the best fried clams on any planet. Phenomenal! And if you’re blessed to be waited on by John, then your experience is complete!

You come here for the food and not the atmosphere! We ordered the lobster and garlic shrimp rolls, cracked conch with sweet potato fries, and onion rings. Our food were all delicious but for what they charge for the onion rings, the portion was small. I think they could do a better sauce for the cracked conch. Nice staff taking orders. Definitely worth a visit of you're in KW.

Love this restaurant. My son ordered the lobster roll , hubby and I ordered jumbo shrimp fry. We took our dog in the patio area. All is great. I wish i can order everin the menu, lol

I have to start by saying how absolutely bummed I am that I didn't take pictures of the meals my wife and I devoured, but they were delicious. Chill vibe. Outdoor seating in back, but in the shade so it was nice and cool. This was in early April, so take that for what it is. The average temp is 80, but that sun is super hot, so shade is a premium. We had the fried shrimp with onion rings and the conch fritters with fries. Sofa King Good. Sad I didn't get a chance to go back and try anything else. The prices were reasonable. The staff was super friendly. The food was so good. Do yourself a favor and stop in for one of your meals while in Key West.

Really yummy! We just got a lobster roll and fries to share and it was plenty. The staff was awesome, the vibe is super fun and the food was amazing. Super fresh and flavorful. Easy to walk to from old town. Definitely will come back!

Mmm, steamed clams! Unassuming and delicious local seafood, with great people watching opportunities from the patio seats right on Duval. The regular-stuffed Maine lobster roll was already plenty stuffed for us, for what it’s worth!

We stumbled across this one hot June day on Duval St. Didn't realize it was a Diners location. I've been to some that disappointed, this is not one of them! Lobster roll was on point, and the clams were great too. Not the cheapest lunch, but definitely a nice treat.

This little hole in the wall place is a gem! The walk up order window does not give any indication of the charming seating in the back! Staff is really friendly & helpful. Bathroom was clean & well-maintained. The food (fish tacos & lobster roll) was really tasty & served quick! This is a fantastic quick eat on Duval Street! Highly recommend!

I had the over stuffed lobster roll and it was delicious, my friends had regular lobster rolls and they loved theirs also! DJ's is a very laid back atmosphere serving up delicious lobster rolls. Quality was great, service was quick. Seating is limited out front, but the back area opens up into some additional seating.

Very busy little place on Duval street. The lobster roll is good but pricy. Seemed to be a decent line at all times. Staff was curious and fast. Lobster roll was well stuffed. The bread was really good too. Would suggest this place. Sit in the front and people watch during you meal. Makes for a great time!

We absolutely loved this place!!! We got the lobster roll, fried coconut shrimp, and chicken tenders (for the kids). It was all amazing!!! Can’t wait to go back!!! Update: we went back tonight and ordered the shrimp tacos and mahi tacos. Amazing!!! Super nice staff and great atmosphere!! Highly recommend!!!
