What a privilege for Key West locals and visitors alike! Off the beaten path but Worth every effort to taste their cuisine. This place is authentic Cuban food. The staff is welcoming, the local vibe speaks to its authentic Cuban culture, and the flavors in the food can not be replicated! The portions are easily shareable. Out of the many places we enjoyed, no question the best Key West has to offer. Take a look at their amazing award wall 🎉We enjoyed the skirt steak and grilled shrimp. It had a sweet plantain on the plate that completes the meal perfectly. We also loved the stuffed tostones with spicy tomato sauce. Not too spicy just right. Your palette will thank you and your wallet won’t go broke. Go more than once, I wish we did!

The food is amazing. Definitely a five star. The service brings the rating down to one... I don't know where this place thinks it is, but this is not downtown Chicago... 🦀Crabby abuelita🧓 yelling at me about walking in with no shirt on All she had to do was ask me to put my shirt on... The hostess didn't say anything to me but the waitress felt like it was her job to scold me ...😵🤔🏝️If it's such a big deal put a sign on the front door. It's just a casual restaurant, not fine dining.... Been into way nicer establishments in the area. No problem. Complaining about a dress code...😂😂

First time coming to Key West and found this place when I was browsing through the restaurants around me. Overall, I had a great experience as the waiter was really friendly and took care of us. Bread was fresh when we got it to the table and was warmed up. Iced coffee was good as well. Huge fan of the rice/beans with the pork as well as the fried plantains. Definitely 5/5 and would recommend this place to others!

The Best Authentic Cuban Restaurant in the Key West. Nice outdoor decor about the Siboney Indian Tribe in Cuba. The place is packed with people drinking and enjoying their food. I ordered the Grilled Grouper with rice and plantains while my wife ordered the Shrimp/Pork combination. It was delicious. We also tried the Conch Chowder it was the best. The complimentary dinner roll with butter was addictive. Our Server was nice and friendly.

Very fast service we got our food out in no time at all which was a huge surprise with how busy they were. The appetizer was incredible; a soft delicious buttery bread. I had shredded grilled beef it was delicious, however it could use a little less salt. The inside of the place is really unique. A definite place to try out especially if you haven't had Cuban food before.

Man! I been here twice in six years. When I go to key west, it’s a must!!! I love the skirt steak!!! Best way to go! Staff is very friendly and clean! 10/10!!! The price for the amount of food you get is ridiculous.

Nice Cuban restaurant here in Key West. Only one we came to so can't compare. The food was really good though. We got the steak and shrimp, teriyaki steak, and pork chop with shrimp. First time I've seen teriyaki steak at a Cuban restaurant and my daughter liked it alot. Portion was good too. The calamari appetizer was tasty but really tiny pieces. Price overall was reasonable.

Ordered grilled yellow tail snapper and fried pork chunks, great taste and quality of meat and fish. Very clean place and great service. Try their Cafe Cubano for dessert ;)

While returning from key west, we stumbled upon this charming Cuban restaurant and it exceeded all our expectations. The food was incredibly flavorful and authentic, transporting us to the streets of Havana. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance was so lively. The menu offered a wide array of authentic Cuban dishes & we loved each n every item we ordered. To round off the meal, we couldn't resist trying the Tres Leches. It was a heavenly creation & each bite was a pure bliss. So, whether you're a seasoned fan of Cuban cuisine or a curious food enthusiast looking to try something new, this restaurant is an absolute gem in Key West to try on!

Love this authentic Cuban food! Have eaten here every trip to KW. Off the beaten path in a neighborhood. THE BEST CUBAN FOOD EVER! Everything is delicious! It's where Cubans go to eat and all the locals. They do a lot of take out. Small, cozy place. Delicious!

Soooo good! Flavors were fantastic. Can't wait to come back! His Cuban looked delicious. My steak was huge and cooked to perfection. The onions that came with his sandwich in the bowl were to die for! Cuban coffee was quite nice as well.

I was visiting Key West for the day and wanted to try Cuban food for the first time. After doing a quick Google search, I found out this resturant with a very high rating. I'm not sure why other people gave very high rating, but I found the food quality and taste very low. We were recommended shredded steak/meat that comes with rice and black bean. Neither I nor my friends were pleased by the taste of our food. Having said all these, it is worth mentioning that its pretty cheap. After living in Manhattan, finding a dinner menu costing $20 per person felt nice :))

Every time I visit Key West El Siboney is on the agenda. I am always seated pretty quickly. The food comes out steaming hot and FAST! Service is always with a smile. The ropa vieja is my favorite, full of flavor and just so satisfying. Cuban comfort food at its finest. I will be back for sure

We love this place! If you want authentic Cuban food come to El Siboney on your next trip to key west. They have a bar up front you can eat at or enjoy one of the dining rooms in the back. You will not be disappointed you came here.

Great Cuban coffee and homemade sangria which was so refreshing after a long day of jet ski, parasailing and swimming in the ocean at Key West. Their food was good - tried their spicy fish and garlic shrimp. Definitely recommend to check out this Cuban restaurant.

On a residential corner El Siboney is a great find. Was told by one of the locals that it’s the best Cuban food in Key West. It didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Food came out relatively quickly. All the food had great flavor and enough portion wise.

We stopped here for some Cuban food on our trip to key west. We were not disappointed. We tried the conch chowder at many of our stops in Florida and this one had a unique flavor. I would recommend. We also tried the appetizer sampler. Not the best empanadas but the other appetizers were tasty

Good food and good service. They recommended a Cuban platter that was very good. We don’t like onions but these were actually very good. We had the roast pork with rice, beans, and plantains. Only a 4 just because we had so much amazing food other places but this was super good still. Compared to food at home it would have been a 5 but there is just so much incredible food in the keys the others rated just a bit higher. The drink was ok, not great.

Excellent food, fast service and they have a lot more seating than you might think from the outside. We came for lunch during the week and were very happy with El Siboney. The #1 and #17 were delicious, and the Sangria was perfect! We'd definitely go again if back in the area! Parking is a little tight, we had no problem at lunchtime midweek, but weekends are probably very tight. They have a small lot of spots in front, and the rest is street parking.

The fried fish and key lime pie was very good but vegetarian option was very less and kids menu was just okay! The chicken breast was nice portion too

This place was amazing. It was the first restaurant we ate at once we landed down on Key West. Due to the good reviews etc I added this as a must try. It was worth all the time and money. Beautiful food and service. We ordered the famous steak that they have to offer. The Siboney Steak & Steak and Shrimp platter. All the sides plantains, rice and beans. Everything was great. I highly recommend eating here.

The place is a bit hectic bu the food is great and comes in abundant quantities. My father in law ate a mountain of boiled yuca that came with his shrimp and could not eat any more that day. For the location, as good as you will find at this price range.

Siboney is one of the indigenous tribes in Cuba before the arrival of colonists. El Siboney is located in a unassuming neighborhood on the south side near City Hall and a nice leisurely walk from the south street Aids Memorial/Edward B Knight pier. Mellow and comfortable ambiance as soon as you walk in. It was a hot day and the AC was delightful. Food was extremely satisfying, it was hard to stop eating when full and couldn’t help smiling after the meal. It was so good like visiting an auntie and having home cooked food made with love. Can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu! Bread was delicately crisp on the outside, bread with butter on the inside. Cuban coffee was rich and sweet. I forgot to ask for dark meat with chicken fricassee, but was delightfully surprised that the white meat came out tender and moist, falling off the bone with no effort. Rice was very good.

Best value on the island. Leave full, with leftovers for later in the day for less than anywhere on the island we've found so far. We went 2 days in a row, too good to not get there again and again. This place makes me feel like Cuba is a lot closer than 90 miles from Key West.
