The tacos were really good and tasty! It was different but I enjoyed them. First time trying a frita burger and it was good but might have to add more toppings next time. Lemonade was ok. Overall, good food and friendly staff.

Amazing spot. Wonderful service. Probably the best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had, plus amazing fresh juice mimosas and some AWESOME guacamole to boot. Artwork in the back is awesome. Check it out if you want some great food and a cool atmosphere.

We absolutely loved this place. Very friendly service with a nice dog outside ready for head scratches. We couldn’t resist the smell from what was being cooked so we stopped in for pork tacos and plantains. Everything was amazing. They have outdoor seating, pet friendly and children friendly. Only a block from Duval.

Best Cuban place in key west! We typically look for the "hole in the wall" places for best flavor and experience. This fit all of that and did not dissappoint!! NOTE: not the best sit down option-take it to go. Will be back for sure! Traditional cuban (with an egg)is HIGHLY recommended!

The staff was very nice and ended up ordering the Frita Confunida. The food came out quick (was a big portion) and the little seating area was nice; however, the Frita didn't have much flavor. Kind of bland but I think there may be other dishes that are a bit more exciting.

This place is something special. It's easy to miss because it's not on Duval, but Frita's is legit. The owner took care of us when we came for dinner. She made sure we had a great time. The food was outstanding. I even came back later for late night tacos!

I only give 5 stars when I'm absolutely blown away, and this place certainly doesn't disappoint. Despite being a tiny spot, the love that comes out of that little kitchen shines through their food. The flavors slap! We enjoyed the Frita Confundita, Key West Cuban Sandwich, Yuca Fries, and a Cuban Affogato for dessert. I haven't been this impressed with food in a long time. The atmosphere was great, from chickens and roosters hanging out to a very welcoming staff. Give them a try!

Small place with only outdoor seating. Looks can be deceiving when walking up, the Pork Tacos and Fish Tacos were really excellent! There was some live music playing when we came by, really added to the atmosphere. Definitely give it a try. Don't worry, the chickens are friendly!

Foods are great, especially mango nachos, which is exceptional. Frita sandwiches are great as well. The service is very good, very friendly. We feel very comfortable during our dining.

Great staff and pretty good food. The watermelon mimosa was okay. I really wanted to try the tacos but we didn't get a chance. But the traditional Frita Burger was yummy!

Enjoyed the delicious food and the great service. Although eating inside with ac would have been nice we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the chickens and roosters.

I will keep this review short by saying, if you want to truly enjoy Cuban food then go here. Their Frita Original burger is heavenly. We also ordered Frita Chicken burger thand that was best in the world. It’s a must visit place if you are in Key West.

Hidden gem close to Duval street. Cuban joint serving traditional Cuban burgers with tiny fries, sandwiches and traditional cuban dishes. Friendly stuff. Outside sitting. Huge portions, much lower prices compering to overpriced Duval Street restaurants. Recommend cuban sandwich and rice and beans with toping of your choice. Try theirs Conch fritters too they are really good.

One of the best spots to get food in the city. Friendly server, food was extremely flavorful and fresh. 10/10 would recommend.

Sweet owner/staff, great ambiance; very artsy/eclectic. Roosters overhead, but most seats are covered by umbrellas, and we were given a water spray bottle in case, but we didn't need it. The food was fantastic. Best Cuban sandwich yet! Shrimp and pork tacos were delicious, Dessert nachos amazing. They even carried our favorite Grapefruit juice/bier. We ate there twice in 4 days. Yum.

Fantastic service makes you feel like home and they appreciate your business. The food was very good and you absolutely have to have to Elotes aka Street Corn 🤩! The Cuban burger was delicious 😋 and lots of delicious toppings. Everything tastes fresh including the bun. Can’t wait to eat it again.

Best damn cuban and excellent staff! Went for lunch on a Sunday. They had a musician playing and he was actually quite talented. My friend had the cuban pork tacos and she devoured them! The fresh squeezed lemonade is a perfect pairing as well

OK, this place is nothing fancy for sure. The food, however, is absolutely delicious, the people were really nice. The food was outstanding and we loved it. The dining area is outside and not air condition but, the food is worth it. If you come to Key West, you should stop in here get a burger, You won’t be sorry.

Stopped to grab a quick bite before meeting with friends. So happy I made the choice to stop. Traditional Cuban was amazing. The pork was seasoned perfectly and the Swiss was super melty. I eat a lot of Cubans living in Tampa and this one blew them all out of the water.

Loved this little spot! I think a lot of restaurants nearby upcharge for location and A/C. The price was right and the food was great! The guys loved their burgers but might have ordered fries if they had realized it didn't come with any (julienned potatoes are a topping). I was shocked at how large my tostone nachos dish was. And the flavors were outrageously delicious. This was a shareable dish that I will think of fondly in my future. 🤤

On vacation in key west for 5 days and hit a ton of food spot. FRITA'S ... amaaaaazing. My husband and I ended up here twice because we just couldn't stop talking about it. Awesome food, charming atmosphere, friendly and amazing service. Cannot wait to come back and check in again. Beans and rice, burgers, sangria, churros... all incredible. I dont review often but this was totally deserving of 5 stars. I saw some of the bad reviews and gotta be honest, can't figure out what those people were thinking. We ate well here: blue heaven, garbos, BBQ, dj's clam shack, cuban coffee queen, and more. Frita's beats them all. Hands down.
