The food was fantastic. My wife and I both had the seafood omelette with shrimps & scallops. The famous breakfast potatoes with the side sauce was terrific. The banana mimosa's were refreshing. The Banana Cafe is a real gem and we will certainly come back again. This is a must stop for excellent food.

Decided to take a day trip from south Florida. Made it in time to watch the sunset and randomly stumbled upon this place. Man what a stumble. From the friendly staff to the amazing food and outgoing personality of the owner. The food was impeccably impressive, it made me want to tell the chef how good it was. We ended up getting a coffee, bacon eggs Benny + inside out Benny crepe and it was out of the ballpark hit! If you’re in the area this is a must stop for breakfast. Amazing amazing amazing - I wish I could give it more stars!! Thank you guys for a great morning.

The atmosphere was great ! The service was fast however it came with a huge cost! We paid $35 for two complete meals . One meal was left on table. The scramble eggs were like rubber and the bacon didn’t taste good at all. It was majorly undercooked. The orange and croissant were good but not $35 plus tip good.

First visit here. We really need to try a few more things in order to give a more thorough review. I would Honestly give a 3.5 score based on this visit if I could. The French breakfast sandwich was pretty good but I did not care for the sauce it was paired with. The Croissant itself was light and very fresh. I felt they could have put more sautéed onions on it as I could only find them on half. I love sautéed onions which is why I ordered the sandwich, so it was disappointing to have to search for them. The strawberry lime sangria was good. I love fried breakfast potatoes and was excited to see them on the menu but they were over cooked and hard. Almost tasted old. Hopefully we will have better input after our next visit. Would really like to try a dessert next time to see if it lives up to my French palette high expectations.

Everything was very delicious. I ordered the escargot and the eggs benedict with lobster and it was perfect. Also ordered a cappuccino and watermelon mimosa. I thought the mimosa was a bit on the tart end for a watermelon flavor. The service could've been a bit better... I had to ask the waitress to clear our table and they weren't even busy.

I had the seafood risotto and I thought it could've been cheesier and creamier. The swordfish in the ristto could've used more seasoning. The shrimp Mac and cheese was very good. The key lime pie, banana sundae and fish and chips were all very good as well. The power went out on the whole block so we probably waited 30 minutes for the power to come back on but despite that the service was good. I'd be interested in trying the breakfast/brunch menu.

The banana waffle with caramelized bananas was so delicious!!!! I also ordered the steak and it was just right!!!! My fiance had the Lobster Benedict and he said it was very delicious as well. Must try!

It’s a smaller cafe but don’t let the size fool you! The food here is amazing and the service was good wonderful. I ordered basically what is an inside out eggs Benedict crepe and it was the best tasting crepe I ever had. I will try to recreate it at home but it won’t be as good. My girlfriend and I both enjoyed our meals- she had a veggie avocado crepe and she liked it. My other friend decided to go back and he had a steak and blue cheese crepe.

Food was excellent! We walked in for lunch and sat indoors. I had the classic burger with fries. It was a freshly made hearty sized burger cooked just right (medium). The fries were crispy and yummy. My partner had the tuna salad sandwich, but it was a full plate and with great presentation. He loved it and devoured it all. The owner came to visit our table. She was very friendly and hospitable. The service was good and the atmosphere was typical for the the beach.

We had to come back twice for breakfast ( even though we had a food credit at Casa Marina) LOVE LOVE LOVE HOW WELL WE WERE TREATED!! Also meet the owner Danny! What a sweetheart! She is the Top Banana!! Bagel w Lox is amazing! As is the egg white and sausage ( best on the island) Waitress staff is very attentive even if there is a line out the door. Just exceptional!!! Next time I’m twin we will have to try their dinner items.

This place is amazing. Seemed to be busy every time we walked by it but I could easily have had every meal here. We sat on the roof which was a cool experience. They have it perfectly shaded so the suns not blazing down on you. The food was perfect. I had a pesto shrimp crepe as pictured. Highly recommend!

Delicious Shrimp Cobb salad and bread! It gets super busy so we opted to sit outside instead of waiting for an inside table. The heat wasn’t a problem but the smell from the dumpster isn’t great. Great service too!

With so many restaurants in the area it's really hard to choose your next meal. Don't let this humble bistro fool you! On the exterior it may look like another eatery on Duval street, but rest assured this world famous French bakery is full of flavor! I highly recommend ordering the Croque Monsieur and making it a maddam. The sourdough bread is perfect!

This place has a great little vibe. It's tiny and quaint, we had to wait a few minutes for a table but it was definitely worth the wait. The kids had the banana foster waffles and I got the veggie crepe with a side of their key lime hollandaise sauce and the hubs had the inside out. Absolutely delicious, everything. My iced latte was perfect and the watermelon juice was fresh squeezed. I absolutely can not wait to come back again. And I definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Went here 2 days in a row. Tried both BLT and lobster BLT. Must say that the lobster BLT is one of the best sandwiches I've ever tried. Service is good. Small and nice atmosphere. Would really recommend

We had the Curry Chicken Salad Sandwich, Inside Or Crepe, the Avocado and Veggies Savory Crepe and the Seafood Savory Crepe, along with a Mimosa. All were very flavorful. There is outside seating, though we sat inside. I will return to the Banana Cafe and heartily recommend it!!

To say the vegetable eggs were the best scrambled eggs I have ever had is not an exaggeration. The crisp asparagus added a fantastic texture in combo with the spinach, tomatoes and extra addition of goat cheese. The wheat toast that accompanied the eggs was so fresh! Perfect breakfast!

Had a good breakfast as expected. Disappointed with the bloody mary and mimosa. Not the best drinks but the food was very good. They were super busy but we only had to wait for about 5 minutes. Food came out hot and fast.

I was here last year I had good food and good time for here. So I came back this year But I went to here this morning food is so disgusting. And the salad is not fresh at all. And so expensive I was not sure which one for the salmon sandwich .I did ask for the waitress. But she was rude Not good attitude maybe I’m the Asian But anyway. I ‘lol never came back this place. Our 2nd time here. We drive from Marathon for breakfast or lunch. This time we had lunch. Service was great. Food was delicious. Curry Chicken salad is so good. Truffle fries are a must! Highly recommend!

From the moment I approached the steps, I was greeted warmly and offered a spot inside (even with my pup). We had a beautiful spot on the patio upstairs overlooking the city. I arrived early so they found a spot for me right away. The coffee was smooth and delicious. The fish crape was yummy! I strongly received checking this place out.

Delicious breakfast. I had the shrimp omelet, she had the shrimp Benedict. VERY GOOD. We were sat at the coffee bar. Service was great. My Chia Tea Latte was spot on. Would for sure recommend...

This is a great place to grab a good breakfast that opens fairly early. My only reason for a 4 star is there menu is just not vast enough. It was not the hardy breakfast that you look for but still pretty good.

Absolutely loved it! I got the pineapple key lime sangria to drink. Hands down, the best sangria I've ever had. To eat I had the fish and chips with key lime tartar sauce, and my boyfriend got the Le Bleu crepe. We both couldn't have been happier with our choices. We got a key lime pie slice to share. It was good, but could've done without the sauce on top and whipped cream. But that's my preference for key lime pie. My boyfriend enjoyed it all. Highly recommended. Staff was very friendly as well and it was nice and breezy inside with the fans and open window on a hot and humid day.

We’ve been spending Thanksgiving in Key West for the past seven years (minus 2020) and Banana Cafe has always been one of our favorites. This year, we celebrated my husband’s birthday here and I’m so thankful to Zoe for such a beautiful night. I had inquired about making a reservation for a special birthday and the setup on the roof was so elegant with fresh roses and beautiful decor.
