Very disappointing experience. For whatever reason the food was cold and the shrimp scampi was disgusting. Either the butter thickened when it cooled or they used a cream sauce which doesn't make sense. (See picture.) Shrimp scampi is hard to mess up, but somehow they did. (If they used just butter and it was hot, it would've been 100% better.) I had hoped the prices indicated high quality, fresh food, but I was wrong. Complete waste of money. My mom didn't eat any of her food. The inside needs some updating and cleaning too.

We ate here tonight it was great. Lots of outdoor patio seating. Food was homemade Italian. Beer and wine, no full bar. But a generous pour on wine by the glass - think almost up to the rim generous. The garlic knots come with each meal and you could just fill up in them. Very friendly service. Loved it all.

Last night of our stay at Key West. Very close to Orchid Key Inn where we were staying. Maybe the best overall dining experience we had while there. We sat outside and the ambience was perfect. We started to order a bottle of wine but our waiter told us that the house wines were very generous 15 oz pours. I had the Pasta Bella Mare and it was perfect. Couple of wild chickens running around which is charming in Key West! There are many good restaurants in Key West but not many that are good and reasonably priced, New York Past Garden is both. Will be making a return trip.

My husband and i ordered takeout. We had the penne alla vodka with a side of meatballs, and some garlic bread loaf. The pasta was mostly tomatoes and no flavor. The meatballs was not bad but the sauce it was is similar to pizza sauce and extremely acidic. The worst of all was this moldy bread. They buried it in garlic and parmesan to cover up the mold on the bottom. Never again would we EVER come to this filthy place!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Warm bread out of the oven is the best! I ordered the shrimp Alfredo, husband ordered the veal Parmesan. Shrimp were large and fresh, Alfredo sauce was just incredible! Hubby loved his food too. No complaints!!

New York Pasta Garden is an outstanding Italian restaurant that truly impressed us. Our server, Fletcher, was not only awesome but also incredibly kind; he provided exceptional service with generous portions for each dish. We indulged in Artichoke fried, Alfredo Pasta with Vegetables, Garden Salad, and a delightful complementary Garlic bread that left our taste buds thoroughly satisfied. The prices were reasonable, and the restaurant's ambiance had an inviting antique charm that exceeded our expectations. However, what truly stood out was the delectable taste of the food and the impeccable service provided by Fletcher. He expertly recommended dishes tailored to our preferences and was exceptionally friendly throughout our dining experience. The only downsides were the absence of free Wi-Fi and the challenge of finding a free parking spot. We opted for paid street-side parking, which cost $5 per hour.

I warning!! Do not go near this place, you will see how they take out food to customers who order delivery! I paid for chicken and got some small pieces inside the pasta, the pieces are very hard not even chewable, this indicates that the chicken was not fresh and sat there for at least a day. The pasta has no taste, no butter, no salt, nothing! A dish that cost me 30 dollars and is not worth even one dollar!

My husband and I went there for dinner for our honeymoon weekend. Fletcher is hands down amazing and so up lifting. Food was amazing and hot!!! Bread is out of this world! I had the shrimp Alfredo which was exactly what I wanted and my husband had the shrimp and scallop dish which he also loved. Fletcher made our night on top of the amazing food. We will be back for sure when we go back in the future not just for the food but for Fletcher!!

A small establishment that has quality food for a great price. At the time of writing you could get a nice glass of wine for around 11 and a bottle of beer for around 5.50. the sandwiches were tasty and filling, the fries are great with their dressing. The dressing was so good, I wish they'd sell it !

Just amazing! We.stopped in for a late dinner. (about 8pm) Atmosphere was charming, we sat outside under the lights, there was a wonderful breeze blowing through the Duval Square Mall, so it was very comfortable to sit outside. Ordered a house chardonnay and it wIas huge! Way more than even 9 oz. There were two of us, we shared an antipasto. No am not a fan of cured meat, so photo represents how I modified the item. We.also shared an entree, Pasta Bella Mare. Check out the online menu for details. Entree was superb, just enough for the two of us. We finished with a slice of lemoncello cake, delicious! Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and delightful! A Czech sweetheart at home in an Italian eatery. Only disappointment was the little garlic bread bites were a little hard and when we asked for a decaf coffee, we were told there was none. I'm their defense, it was close to closing and they must have had to brew an entire pot. We will definitely eat there again, worth every penny!

Wow! The best dinner Ive had in Key West since moving here a year ago. The ambiance in the outside dining section was very comforting and made for a very authentic Italian dining experience mixed with Key West charm (i.e. flora and fauna). Diana was an exceptionally friendly server and the food was just delicious. We will be back soon and often.

The food was amazing, the only thing better than it was the service by the incredible nice staff! We'd give it a 10 star rating if we could! The price was more than okay, really. The homemade dressing and the parmesan breadrolls were DELICIOUS! Thank you for the comfortable atmosphere and the generous amounts of wine Anytime again!

We have ordered take out from there before and loved it so we finally got a chance to go dine in and we are so happy we did! Darren was our server and did a fantastic job, great pours of wine and he brought out an appetizer I loved but would not have ordered on my own. Thank you Darren!! My husband and I had plenty of food for the two of us really enjoyed our time there. The entire staff was great just like the amazing food

Fantastic Italian food for those looking for an alternative to the local Key West cuisine. Pasta dishes are great and served with tasty garlic knots. The setting is cute and the staff is very friendly!

The atmosphere and service are okay, but I didn’t eat my order (crab cakes) at all because it was bad (like a cheap food from the supermarket) and server said that I have to pay for it. Okay, I paid. But I don’t recommend this place and I will never come back here

It's not the same food as the previous ownership. Fish was frozen, not fresh. Veal Piccata was good. Miss the parrot that used to live in the restaurant.

If just rating the food this place would be at least 4 stars. However, we left with a feeling the sever was trying to put one over on some witless tourists. Thankfully my wife saw the bill as I was paying and remarked it looked a little high. I had only looked at the food and did not notice an additional $60 "Service Charge" under the tax section. Donna, our server, made no mention of this when she brought it to me. When she came back I asked her if she had automatically included gratuity. The only way I can describe her reaction was "odd". She mumbbled something like, "Oh, ya service charge" I know some restaurants, especially those with a lot of foreign customers, automatically include the tip. However, I did not see this posted anywhere and Donna certainly did not bring this to our attention. Nowhere else we dined in the Keys had this practice. I was ready to tip on top of this and would have done so if my wife hadn't noticed! Afterwards I also noticed Donna had entered number of guests as 6 (top of the receipt). There were only five of us. Maybe 6 triggers automatic 20% tip? At the end of the day we would have left 20% or more as we commonly do. This whole thing just left me with a bad taste in my mouth after what was a very delicious meal

Our food was fantastic. I had the steak salad and my husband had the egg plant parm.

The food and atmosphere was fantastic. Our server appeared to be very confrontational. When I asked about their wine selection it would’ve been better if he would’ve just said he wasn’t that familiar with the wines and to go get the answer. We will definitely be returning.

The food is incredibly tasty! And the service is great with super delicious appetizers and great main courses. Definitely recommended and worth a try! We had the fettuccine with chicken, the Cesar salad was super and they have a special home made sauce which tastes amazing. One of the best around the area!

This place is amazing! The bread that starts you off is mouthwatering. The appetizer Artichoke Franchaise is the best appetizer you will ever put in your mouth. Then the Alfredo sauce is phenomenal, tastes homemade. They even allowed me to substitute tortellini for fettuccine. To top it off our waiter Fletcher is very sweet, friendly and full of great stories. Make sure you come to the gem Italian restaurant of Key West.
