Service wasn't great. Waitress was inattentive and rarely seen. The pork belly appetizer was excellent as was the lobster bisque. The blackened cobia was also very good however the shrimp scampi was a bit bland and underwhelming. The food was just okay but not worth the high prices.

Pork belly appetizer and post Concho soup was excellent. Blackened cobia was also good. Pink shrimp scampi was flavorless and disappointing but not as disappointing as our server Anita. She dropped water on our table 5 minutes after we were seated but literally did not say hello or introduce herself. She came back to take our order; drinks, appetizer and dinners all at once (whatever) then never came back again until, after waiting some time, we asked the hostess to please bring us our check so we could leave after no water refills or second beverage offer nor a check on "how is the food" etc. When my husband was running his card on the electronic check system she hung over him telling him how to tip. Wow! We're normally very generous and tipped her even after that service but not the normally generous tip given her disappearing act and behavior after. The busser and food runner were great and deserved that whole tip.

I’d give it 4.5 if I could. Delicious food, amazing atmosphere, great location. This place is a must in Key West. Great restaurant to take all the family. I deducted half a star as their menu didn’t contain everything available. The kids options weren’t listed nor the fish taco. But the food was sooo good I’d definitely recommend this place! We had the jerk chicken and sweet potato mash, fish taco, lobster Mac and the kids cheese burger sliders!! All excellent!!

Who would have thought a restaurant in the middle of Duval would have offered THIS QUALITY of food? Don't get me wrong but when I walked up. I expected your typical hamburgers and fried fish sandwiches. We were delighted at the quality of service and the amazing dishes. Good vegetarian options and the fish I had was so fresh. Service was on point. Will definitely be back!

Mangoes is above and beyond. As soon as you walk in, you feel very welcome. The place is stunning the crew is amazing and very helpful and nice. The drink list is incredible, so many options wasnr sure how I could try every drink without getting sick lol. The food was great; sometimes I wish I could have the whole menu. They have live music and the band is very, very good. The band they have is great; not only do they play beautiful, but they are great together. This place makes you forget about the real world and makes you feel like you are truly in paradise. This place makes KEY WEST

I love Mangoes! This was my first of many visits here. The Ahi Tuna is possibly the best appetizer I have ever had. Our entrées were amazing. A great experience all around. See you again soon.

Best food we've had in the Keys both trips!! Mahi Tacos were fill with fish, conch fritter good... but the guava daiquiri the best - we used p-apple and orange juice instead of grapefruit, made it sweeter!!!.Drinks alone worth going for!!!

Let's start with the experience being 😖AWFUL. I drove from Tampa to experience the key west , fantasy fest experience. I paid $50 per ticket to apparently experience the parade that was far from it. The line was ridiculous, and the website is misleading, showing tables near the even, but when you get there, they are all removed and only have 3 high tops. They gave us a table in the back where you can not see anything. I was not happy and wanted a refund, but like the owner said, " No refunds." I was not the only person upset, and they are dishonest people. Why would I pay $50 per person to get one free drink and sit in the back next to the restrooms and not see anything. SAVE YOUR MONEY 💰 do NOT get per tickets and enjoy your money on what you want to spend. As for the owner, this is a horrible way to run a business, and you need to be more specific on your website. This is by far a SKY BOX experience like you try to make everyone believe.

Amazing food! We had the prosciutto app, the tuna tacos were amazing with such great flavor. Then I had the chicken and rice in a pineapple, so fun!

Beautiful bar in a great location. The drinks were very well made. We had two drinks each here originally, then did some site seeing for about an hour. Before getting back on the cruise ship we stopped here for one more drink(yes, they were THAT good). Sophia is such a great bartender, she not only knows how to make a delicious drink, but remembered us an hour or so later! When she saw us she smiled and asked if we wanted another round. The fact she remembered our drink order after serving many other patrons speaks volumes to her skills as a bartender. We can't wait to go back to Key West and bring our friends to visit Mangoes.

A nice LGBT friendly restaurant with a great ambiance. Has indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar seating. We stopped by because we saw they had Bombay East gin which is a decent gin compared to what we’ve come across. Our waiter was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. We will say that the food is a bit steep for the portions and for what it was however what we did have was tasty minus the stale chips for the fish dip. ( I’m sure it’s hard to keep them hard due to the humidity ) We weren’t too hungry so we did not get much, mostly game for the gin. Not sure if we would go back but could be fun to go to the Drag Brunch we heard about some time.

Food was absolutely 5 star! Unfortunately, calling to make a reservation the person didn’t understand enough English to answer is we could bring our dog. The patio is dog friendly, for your reference. Our server was dismal. Great smile, loved our dog, but waited over 10 minutes to be greeted, another 10 for our drinks….had to ask another server to get my husband another beer. The place was in no way busy! Two employees had a very heated conversation for 30 minutes, at a volume that carried over all else. Hopefully a one off bad day! Again, the food was FABULOUS!

Stopped by Mangoes right before we left Key West. Friendly staff, clean location, and really good food. We got the crab cakes(2) with Creole Island Remonlade and Lobster Mac & Cheese (Cavatappi pasta mixed with lobster meat, cheese, bread crumbs, parsley broiled with a crispy top). Both were really good and would highly recommend. Definitely will be back for drinks and full meal next time I'm in town

We had a wonderful lunch here! Got the calamari, mussels, and pork belly. All delish! Drinks are also really good, had the raspberry margarita and cucumber cooler. Great out door spot with endless people watching. Awesome service too!

We recently had our daughters destination wedding at Mangoes. Carrie the event manager did THE BEST job ever helping us to make this important event in our lives a HUGE success! The air conditioned Captains Room worked so well for our group (there is a very nice but much larger space upstairs as well for big receptions). The entire staff was friendly and supportive and the food was quite good. So much fun and good memories..the accordion doors allowed us to open up our space as much or as little as we wanted so that our group could enjoy Dave Bootles music as well. (Our private bar maid even jumped in at the end of our event to do a line dance with us!). If I had any criticism I would say that the hors d'oeuvre were priced too high ($5/one shrimp is tooo much) and I have discussed that with Carrie. Also maybe at the end of the night, instead of whisking away all of our left overs (including untouched plates of wedding cake) we could have been given an option to take home some care packages. All in all though, Mangoes at the quieter end of Duval street was fantastic!!!

Excellent place just off of Duval. Expected high prices which didn't disappoint. I'd return and enjoy a meal anytime in KW. Cocktail, appetizer of fries, and a house salad with added blackened fish was an excellent late lunch.

They had some of the best crab cakes I've tasted! I should've arrived maybe later, closer to dusk. Stepping in just before they needed to prepare for dinner, I learned their menu was closed. They allowed me to dine anyway if I ordered from their appetizer menu. After checking it out, I easily found something I wanted. Easy peasy! The attendants at check-in were solution-finders and I appreciate their accommodation. I craved those super lump crab cakes! I should've ordered double. Their mangoes house salad was appetizing, except on a warm humid day, salads don't stay crisp. Conscious reminder when dining outside! In the salad were hearts of palm - I loved them! If I were to recommend this place, definitely get here for dinner when there's a charming lit outdoor patio and possibly music, since there was a disco globe. They've got plenty of seating even in the rear towards the restrooms. The ambience is relaxing for people watching.

Group of us went close to 9pm on a Saturday night. Got seated pretty quickly outside on a large covered patio with fans. We were greeted right away and drink orders were placed. It seemed like only one person was working because shortly after we got our drinks, it took some time to get our orders in and also, for the food to come out. However, when it did come, the food was hot and the flavors were amazing. The pork belly is served with some slaw and under it all is pineapple. The pairing was tasty. Another friend went with the lobster roll and I was told it was one of the best they’ve ever had. Live entertainment was going on outside so it was a nice atmosphere to be in.

We sat inside to give our parents a break from the heat. We had looked at the menu posted on the street and were excited to see several items that approved to each of us. The service was good, nothing over the top but friendly and prompt. The food was pretty good all around. I would have given 5 stars if not for the stale, hard to chew fried onions on my Pulled Pork sandwich. Other than that, the sandwich was quite good, I liked the BBQ sauce. The cross cut sweet potatoes fries were ok, but I think I prefer traditional fry shape for those. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and yucca fries. He's had a Cuban at several places this week and says this one was the best due to balance and proportion of pulled pork to ham, as well as overall flavor. We've never tried yucca fries before, so we didn't know what to expect. They are much like regular potato fries but a little sweeter flavor (but not as sweet as sweet potatoes). Dad tried the conch fritters and liked them better than the straight fried conch we had earlier in the week. Mom liked her Baja Fish tacos well enough to eat all 3 and every last sweet potato fry - though that might be influenced by how much walking we'd been doing around town working up an appetite!

Stopped here yesterday but didn’t know how good the food here is. Had ahi tuna nachos, pulled pork sliders and braised pork belly. This place has an excellent kitchen!!! Well prepared and beautifully presented dishes. And the key lime pie was among the best we’ve had in Key West. Don't let the touristy vibe or that it's on Duval discourage you. This place is all about great food. The service is excellent, too (it was busy when we went, and the staff was on top of everything). Enjoy!

The food was great, we ordered the empanadas, Mac and cheese, and the cauliflower, everything good. The key lime pie with mascarpone was real yummy 🤤 The drinks tho, those were too watery didn't really like them.

We sat at the bar and ordered beers, an app, and entrees. The service was welcoming and the live music was very entertaining. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so great, we came back again!

This place is a must in Key West. Great restaurant to take all the family or enjoy bar side. Reasonably priced! Enjoy inside air condition, outside patio/bar side. The food was so good and for those enjoying cocktails they were good with a healthy amount of alcohol:)I’d definitely recommend this place! We had the Breakfast nachos, Habanero Bloody Mary, Regular Margarita. All excellent!! Part of the eggs was taken prior to pic:)

Great happy hour. The music was incredibly. Really good. The music made the food better. No worries on the food very good. Had the tuna nachos. Great tastes and flavors. And we had the crazy lady. The best beer on the island.

Mangoes is where you want to be for EXCELLENT food and delicious cocktails. The seafood is mouthwatering. Very friendly and attentive staff, massive outdoor patio that is mostly shaded, and plenty of air conditioned indoor space. Mangoes also hosts one of the best outdoor bars in the area.

  • 5/5 E Z. 2 years ago on Google
We really enjoyed Mangoes. We got in quickly and got to sit in their air conditioned dining room. The dining room is rather a slapped together room with sliding glass doors but it is cool enough to help beat the heat. The service and food were both great. The yellowtail dish was very good. I would go back!

My husband and I stumbled upon this great little restaurant as we walked up Duval St. The outdoor patio grabbed our attention and the menu looked good. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. The Key West Loaded Pineapple was AMAZING! (I've tried to recreate it...not bad, but definitely not as good) and my husband got the lobster roll special with truffle fries. He was very happy with his choice. We will be back the next time we are in KW.

I loved Mangoes. I went mostly to sit up at the bar and have a few drinks and mingle as I was traveling alone. Bartenders did a great job hustling and helping everyone. The food was great. I stuck to the appetizer menu every visit and loved all of it. The lobster mac was SO CREAMY. Pork belly delicious. Conch fritters delightful. Staff was always pleasant. I'd definitely go back here.

One of the shop keepers on Duval told us to try the mango mojitos and they were amazing. Pictured are the mango (left) coconut (right). Went back everyday of our trip to have one or two! I dropped a star because one of the bartenders was rude and argued that they didn’t make coconut mojitos after we had consumed them the two days prior.
