We
were
visiting
Key
West
from
a
cruise
ship,
and
admittedly,
it
is
drive
by
tourism,
but
we
wanted
to
find
a
place
that
felt
local.
B.O.'s
Fish
Wagon
did
not
disappoint.
We
tried
to
order
the
Conch
sandwich,
but
sadly,
they
didn't
have
any.
Not
going
to
count
that
against
a
local
business
with
today's
supply
chain
issues
especially
when
it
comes
to
critters
that
I'm
not
sure
if
they
have
a
season
or
not
(crawfish
season
for
instance
in
Louisiana/SE
Texas).
Our
"consolation"
prize
was
the
fried
grouper
sandwich.
Oh
Man
was
it
tasty.
I
want
to
start
with
the
bread.
It
was
fresh
with
a
good
chew
without
being
too
chewy.
Next,
the
often
overlooked
part
of
a
good
sandwhich
the
veggies.
They
were
fresh
and
crisp
and
added
a
great
depth.
However,
the
star
of
the
show
was
the
fresh
fried
grouper.
This
is
one
of
my
favorite
fried
fish
presentations.
The
breading
was
light,
but
a
still
great
crunch,
and
the
fish
itself
was
flaky
and
juicy.
If
you're
in
Key
West,
give
it
a
stop!
Unfortunately,
my
pictures
this
time
don't
do
the
setting
or
food
justice
and
I
did
not
take
enough.
