Very fun place with pretty views and great service. Relaxed atmosphere and wonderful service. I had the chef’s special duck sandwich with spinach, mushrooms, onions, Brie and Dijon mayonnaise. Very flavorful and my husband had a beet salad.. all ingredients were fresh. Would recommend as menu offers vegan and vegetarian options and is creative as well

We had the most wonderful dining experience here! The staff was beyond exceptional! Standouts: Jody gave us the most warm & welcoming greeting! Alex was an incredibly attentive & delightful server, she made us feel right at home! Definitely some of the best food we’ve had on the island so far and we’ve yet to find cozier waterside patio seating! The chill contemporary music, cabana decor, beautiful houseplants and cooling breeze coming in off the water create a lovely tropical relaxing vibe! I think we’ve found our favorite coffee & breakfast spot in key west!

This place was great! We tried the beet and cheese tacos and the catch of the day tacos, and they were both really good! The place has a nice vibe, a good outdoor patio area, and some great tasting food. It’s a great spot, and if this wasn’t our last day in the Keys we’d come back here a ton!

Tried to pick a place within walking distance of our hotel. Picked this place just to go to a hopefully quieter spot.. it was exactly what I was hoping for! Staff was super friendly & able to work with my very picky kids. I had the fresh catch tacos & they were fantastic! The view out the back of the water & the boats was great as the sun went down. Would absolutely come back here!!

With a drink of Golden Milk, we ate the Beet and Goat Cheese Taco, the Fresh Catch (Yellow Snapper) Taco and the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Sandwich. All were very tasty. The service was very good and we sat outside during our meal. We will eat here again and recommend Mellow Cafe and Gastropub.

Very decent place, nice staff, and very very good food. Very cozy environment. And we did see some very Big fishies also when we had some food!

Great food! Different than your normal fare...much tastier! You won't be disappointed. My new favorite in Key West!

Mellow Cafe’ & Gastropub is awesome! The food is good. The staff are friendly. The interior is decorated beautifully. There’s indoor and outdoor seating right by the pier, and there is a bar. Without doubt I recommend going because Mellow Cafe’ is great! Have a great day!

Great food, super fast, nice view and good service.

I ordered the Bella Benny and it was one of the best hollandaise sauces I’ve had! I was told it was made by Bella herself. The avocado spread was not heavy, tomatoes fresh, and eggs poached perfectly. I usually add salt and pepper after my first bite, but this dish was seasoned just right. The staff were friendly and courteous.

Can't beat sitting on a patio with cold beer, good food, and the smell of salt water. Only one bartender serving the place, but she was on top of it. Look forward to coming back before we leave!

Absolutley awesome food. Pineapple-Hoisin Beef Tacos were amazing. Beer cheese nachos are a must as well. Loved the atmosphere. Outdoor seating was amazing. We were greeted right away and made to feel at home. We circled the block 3 times to get a spot and so glad we did. Best place to eat in Key West!

I would like to have given 5 stars but the poor waitress was the only one working and every table was full. 20 minutes for a beer? Apart from that the food is amazing and the venue is very chilled. Owners employ more staff..

Julia is an amazing bartender with a friendly smile and she will serve you one of THE coldest tap beers in town! The Tropical was tasty with a small bite and they have a variety of beers and dishes to choose from. I will be back

The Mellow Café has a very calm and homey feel to it with an indoor and outdoor seating plus a large reasonably priced menu with many options. Had a great staff and nice view of the marina. They also do evening entertainment from 6-9. I'm not sure which days though.

It isn't easy finding vegan options in a town full of seafood! But I was pleasantly surprised to find options at the Mellow Cafe. I had the vegan tacos. My partner had the tofu teriyaki tacos. Both were delicious and we finished our meal with a wonderful vegan chocolate avocado mousse. Our server was terrific and the atmosphere very...mellow. 😀

This place was a great find on our drive through. The catch of the day tacos were perfect and a good selection of craft beers. Our server, Hannah was very attentive and on top of everything, as well as filling us in on some of the perks of living in KW. Definitely on our list of places to return to!

My husband and I had pork tacos and yellowtail snapper tacos. They were so delicious! For dessert we shared the vegan blueberry cheesecake. So good! Service and atmosphere was great! We will be back!

Great fresh food . But our server was a total brat. She seemed to be bothered to be working. She only had two tables and kept rolling her eyes at us. Would be so cool if the staff was friendlier.

As a “local,” this is hands down the best food and service here in Key West. Fresh food that comes out as soon as it’s ready, so don’t be surprised if your party’s entrees come out at different times. The classic menu is phenomenal, but take a chance on something new and try one of their specials; we had the Swordfish and Scallops, as well as the Elk quesadillas. I can’t recommend the beer Mac and cheese enough as an app but it’s big enough for a meal too. I want to give a separate shout out to Christopher, the bartender and manager I believe. He clearly loves where he works, and has a passion for what he sells and represents. Come for the beer, stay for the food, and never want to leave for the great service!

I love everything about this Cafe right on the deck on the water! The food is so phenomenal you wouldn't even know it was healthy! Best smoothies in town! And just as good fresh juices! You can't beat there fresh fish tacos right off the boats parked at the deck! There are so many taco options! There salads are so different and delicious. Lots of beer choices. Breakfast is on point! They have watermelon mimosas you don't want to skip! The staff is so friendly! By far my favorite hidden gem on the island!

Mellow Cafe is delicious, mellow and cool with superb service. They have a variety of craft beer 🥃 We did cook your catch tacos and they served the extra fish full plate. Moses was our server and there's no better ❤

Mellow Cafe had tons of great Vegan options as well as non vegan options too. The food is really good, the service was prompt and very friendly. I will definitely come back next time im in Key West.

Had a late Saturday night dinner. Courtney our waitress was awesome as very nice. Easy going restaurant with great outdoor dining. Food was great, came out fast and warm. Great options for everyone. Highly recommend!

We did Conch Charters on the Stella Blue with Capt Tash, then brought our catch over to Mellow Cafe and they cooked it up! Not even exaggerating, BEST blackened fish bowl I’ve ever had! So fresh, flaky, and amazing! This is how fish is supposed to taste! This is a MUST do! We’ll be back!

Excellence on every single front. Location on the water, check. Tiki hut with the warm glow of Edison lights, check. Rotating taps of awesome microbrews, check. And the food is as healthy as it is delicious. Mellow is the first place I ate at when I came to the island and six years later I can honestly say I’ve eaten here more than I’ve eaten anywhere. Rob caters to vegan, vegetarians and omnivores alike. Don’t worry, you’ll find something you love.

Meredith was amazing!!! We are here three different times while on our stay, and her smile was infectious! Then the food blew our mind. The BLT is different, but so good! Everything we had was really good.

I truly enjoyed everything about this cafe! The service was beyond amazing. We were seated in a very comfortable private area so that our meal and drinks could be enjoyed with my dog. The staff even brought him bacon pieces!:) They were all so kind and welcoming. The vegan options were the BEST in Key West! I can’t wait to go back!!!
