We went there for happy hour and it was a great decision! Our waitress was very friendly and patient. Food was delicious and fresh too. Key lime colada is highly recommended & mussels diablo as well. If you are around Key west, check this place out!

We came here for lunch and also dinner. Their appetizers and dips are pretty good. For dinner we had a tower of very fresh and good oysters, and I really enjoyed the lobster mac and cheese, very cheesy, very tasty, with the lobster tail on top. The grilled seafood was good but the fish on that dish was pretty dry. The stone crab was delicious but crazy expensive for the amount. Definitely a good restaurant if you have the money to spend.

Wonderful open-air restaurant! Fantastic food, atmosphere, service, and views! One of our favorite restaurants in the area that we "must visit!" GREAT happy hour prices if you make it in time! The food is delightfully prepared to perfection! We've never had a bad meal! The staff is prompt and always checking on their tables! Great job once again, and we appreciate the meal and drinks!

I think price wise, this is a bit of a rip off, but location, location, location....I would not have chosen this place at all because of the extremely touristic location, but teenagers were hungry so this was a quick fix. Food was definitely overpriced, their lease might not be cheap! Portion were actually pretty good size wise. Food was decent for dure but nothing memorable. This is not necessarily a place I would want to go back to, there are so many other great and quaint places in Key West. I didn't like our server for most part, rather unfriendly in general. This was also end of day, do maybe he was ready to go home. I ordered a "drunken Sailor", cocktail with rum. I couldn't taste the rum at all, and I let them know. They were pretty gracious and fix it, which I appreciate.

Came here for lunch with the family. The first thing I immediately thought was how cool the atmosphere was! Though you can bring your kids in, I wouldn’t recommend it due to how busy the floor was as well as not immediately seeing any children’s menus. However they will enjoy when the chickens walk through the restaurant! Our server was really kind and quick which was appreciated. The mixed drinks were excellent! I thought both the key lime margarita and vodka lemonade were perfect for such a warm day. The food was overall quite excellent. The only thing I would suggest, mind you I am no five star chef, would be that the lobster Mac and cheese lacked the wow factor I would expect for $36 dollars. Frankly the cheese tasted like Velveeta which robbed how well the lobster was prepared. It was not until I had mixed in some of my wife’s amazing blackened chicken did the dish truly come alive as an excellent meal. My suggest would be to use some of those seasons to add a new dimension. End point: You should absolutely come here to eat while you are in Key West for Dinner or lunch.

We came here two days in a row..the first day we were so hungry we forgot to take pictures. But today was a different story. The food was amazing!!! The service was quick and who can complain about so many choices on happy hour. The alcohol selection was pretty good too.

Tried oysters here for the first time and they were delicious! In love with the coconut rum, blue curaçao, and pineapple juice cocktail. We really enjoyed all of the food and had great service. Food was served quickly even though it was packed. Great view of the marina on the patio.

Phenomenal happy hour options! We travel for great atmosphere and food. This location hit all the marks. The mussels Diablo and the shrimp in steamed beer are a must. The fish bites were a little oily, but I enjoyed the tarter sauce. The waitress was very welcoming and offered great recommendations. I loved the key lime margarita. Prices at happy hour are right for my wallet.

Had some drinks and food with a big group of friends. I for the oysters and the lobster roll. Oysters were great but the lobster roll was not up to my Expectations. Just seems like Can lobster and it was cold which I knew but tasted more like a lobster salad rather then big Chunks of lobster. Had a great time.

Seriously delicious seafood. I had the coconut crusted fried Grouper and it tasted like a giant coconut shrimp!! Definitely recommend giving it a try. Service was awesome. It's right ok the water next to the dock. We went on a Tuesday night, so it wasn't very crowded. Highly recommend! Will be back next time in key west.

Best seafood I've EVER had! The wife and I drove from Miami to eat here and was not disappointed in the slightest. Excellent service and outside/inside dining. The hostess was seating a couple infront of us so the manager came right over and showed us to a table so we didn't wait at all. Highly recommend

The view was beautiful. The services was good. The snapper was good just be careful with the bones to many. The kid fish was ok, a little dry. The claws chowder was good.

Spectacular view! Cool breeze. Crab and Shrimp Dip was very tasty- went great with our Vodka Martinis. Perfectly cooked burger. Baby chick's chased out of restaurant by staff.

Oysters, oysters, oysters. Whether you're a pro or novice to oysters, they had a decent selection here. Pro tip: order a flight of oysters (1 of each) and see which one you like. Then the second round you can double down on the best ones your taste buds chose. My personal choice was the Kumamoto. Conch chowder also had a nice mild kick to it. Drinks were tasty and cold. Friendly staff that was very attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it's nice to take a stroll after dinner on the boardwalk.

Gordy waited on us and he was the best! We had fish tacos, wings oysters and a few beers. Nice atmosphere looking out into the water and the occasional chicken visitor underfoot! Had a great experience!

Alonzo's Oyster Bar has incredible food and a great atmosphere with it's dinning location right on the dock. My wife ordered the Coconut Fried Grouper and she loved it. So did I as she insisted I try it. I chose the Island Bowl with shrimp and was truly amazed. As a self proclaimed chef who travels around the country finding recipes to duplicate at home, this was the first recipe I re-created. Although I did not duplicate it, it was that good that it was first on my list to try. I highly recommend Alonzo's Oyster Bar as one of the top three locations we tried while in Key West for the week.

We came here tonight for a later dinner . Had a few min wait but hostess was nice. Sat outside and had a great view . Ordered oysters and they were not as fresh as we thought they would be . Husband had the snapper stuffed crab special . He hated his . The waitress explained it and it was a little deceiving from her description . Potatoes were whole and no flavor. Under cooked . I had the mahi tacos and they were so so good . Stick with something not on special maybe . Waitress was Very slow and wasn’t very attentive. Kinda disappointed since they weren’t but busy . She did apologize for him not liking the food and gave him a free key lime pie which helped. Won’t be back for awhile

We come here often for oysters which are some of the best on the island although they are also some of the most expensive. During happy hour we always get the raw oysters which are huge, meaty, and always great. Our favorite are the baked oysters which are delicious. Alexandria was our server and she was attentive and did a fantastic job. If you come make sure you try the baked oysters sampler!

It's Key West, so the atmosphere is always great. Fantasy Fest just happened to put the icing on the cake. We are outside and was very pleased with the service. The waiter kept our drinks full and the peel and eat shrimp were like no other. Definitely a must try if you like shrimp. Get them warm in the beer broth! We got one pound of warm and chilled, ended up getting two more pounds in the beer broth. Also, happy hour prices were great!

This is my favorite raw bar in key west! The atmosphere and the views right on the marina are beautiful. Victor our server was excellent! The food is top notch and is one of the only places you can find kummamato oysters.

The staff was great - the food was subpar and expensive. Shrimp was overly battered (really thick and overcooked), dry, and cool inside, as though it had spent time under a heat lamp. Couldn't eat it, sent it back (I never send food back) and it was kindly comped. Lobster Mac & Cheese was nothing special and was topped by a dry, tough, overcooked lobster tail (so sad!). Mixed seafood plate had a lot of sauce and missed tasting fresh (at $59!), but was nicely plated. Right next to the ocean, on the wharf, the seafood should have been super fresh, tender and delicious. It wasn't. Wanted to love this, but it's a hard pass. The worst meal we had in K.W.

Service was great. I had the blackened mahi and it was awesome. If you like pepper you'll love it. Oysters were delicious. Friend had the burger and he said it was fantastic. You should definitely check this place out if you're in town.

After walking all day in the Keys and trying different venues, we decided to stop at Alonzo's for happy hour. It did not disappoint. The mussels Diablo was our favorite; great flavor. The baked oysters, fresh oysters of the day were good. The conch fritters were more like hush puppies. I thought the crab and shrimp dip was going to be good, but not much crab, didn't see any shrimp, just a bunch of onions, peppers and cheese. Hence minus the one star. Outdoor seating is available, chickens come in and out of the restaurant. So beware you may step into a little "surprise" while you're walking to the restroom if you're not looking at the floor. Other than that, Great happy hour menu, with regular portions for less cost.

Forever my favorite happy hour in key west. Save money drink beer, during happy hour the discounted drafts are $4, soft drinks are $5. 🤣 Beer me that $1 savings. Are you offering franchise opportunities? Philadelphia needs Buffalo shrimp.

Shrimp and Crab dip is incredible (had to post the picture, not a smidgen left!! Sorry). Oyster combo was also extremely flavorful. Then don’t miss the cheesecake for desert (it the best we have ever had!). Great place, great staff! Mussels Diablo and happy hour bang bang shrimp tacos are also a must have.
