Nice little coffee spot, hidden gem. This place had the strangest I had, I like my coffee strong but, let tell you the coffee had me wired All day, the aroma was amazing. I recommend when ever you're in the Keys stop by this little coffee shop. It's located in a great place next to the aquarium, right in front of the dock so you can get a cup of coffee before you go on your water excursions. All your tours start at this point.

We LOVED Cuban Coffee Queen SO much when we were vacationing in Key West that we went every single day! It’s super delicious, strong coffee. There’s nothing like Cuban coffee! You can’t go wrong with any of their coffee options. We got Americanos, iced coffee, iced lattes, etc. This waterfront location is to-go only (there are some spots for uncovered, outdoor seating). There is both food options and drinks.

This location and people are amazing. I heard so much about this Cuban coffee, but I personally felt that it’s just a hype. Coffee was okay. I had such a great coffee which is freshly roasted and brewed and had a mind blowing aroma. I also ordered a veg hummus sandwich which was tasteless. I would not recommend this place for food, but for coffee, just don’t expect much.

Really friendly baristas and delicious Cuban coffee. It’s fun to get the pan cubano and eat it with a hot cup of coffee. I’m looking forward to bringing my beans back and enjoying more cuban coffee in the weeks to come.

Good spot to grab a Cuban snack and coffee. My experience was good, but I saw a customer who ordered a cold coffee was given a hot one. So the employee whose picture I've posted was extremely rude. He told the customer "that you should know your order and what you ordered before is not the same and how I'm supposed to know." He completely belittled the poor customer. It's shameful to see something like this when you're on vacation. The employee was laughing about this inside with another employee working inside. My rating is purely due to this incident that my kids and I had to notice. Hope management sends these guys for some customer relationship lessons besides only teaching them to take orders and serving coffee.

Took some time to find it. After so many great review. I had really high expectations for this. Considering the hot of crazy afternoon, I thought it will be really refreshing but it is just so so. Stronger taste than usual coffee I had. Nothing really surprise me.

I deliberated on posting a review for Cuban Coffee Queen because I wanted to like it. Unfortunately my experience was not a good one. Some friends visited Key West in early 2020 and spoke very highly of their lunch at Cuban Coffee Queen. They even brought home a bag of coffee for us to enjoy, which we did. (The two stars earned in this review.) While visiting Key West for our first (and so far only) time in June 2021, my wife and I sought out the location. Though the coffee was flavorful, the counter-person was unfriendly immediately and progressed quickly to rude. We ended up ordering only one medium coffee as a result and felt dejected. At the time of our order we were the only people there, with only a small family and one “to-go” order coming through before we left. Not sure when we will return to Key West, but I can tell you with certainty when we will return to Cuban Coffee Queen: never.

Must try if in Key west. Went for lunch after snorkeling. Coffee was good and I got a cuban sandwich which was also very good. I was the waterfront location where it's take out only. There are a couple of benches if you want to eat there but most people take it go.

Loved the breakfast sandwich and the Cuban! Great place to get a quick breakfast and get your day started. Excellent food and coffee! Our sandwiches were big enough to save half for a post exploration snack a couple hours later

This was one of the places I was looking forward to trying during my stay in Key West…it did not disappoint! I just got a vanilla iced coffee and it was so good, a little strong so this one is for the ppl who prefer their coffee to taste more like coffee than a dessert…I believe the person who waited on me during my visit was Georgio and he was very sweet and got my order out quickly…there were also some baby chicks playing nearby on a bike which was so cute to see on my way out, will definitely be back!

I just were here. I was looking for a strong coffee and find this place Cuban Coffee Queen. I decided to go because I am Cuban, so this should be the perfect place for me. Surprise, it was not! The coffee is not bad, but the customer service was horrible today around 4pm. I tell the server: “I am Cuban so let me see if you really are the Cuban coffee queen”, and she looked at me with contempt and treated me badly. The servers that was there don’t have passion for what they do, and don’t take care of costumers. I don’t recommend this place

Amazing wake up. I chose the mocha frappe and my better half enjoyed a delicious Ice coffee with Cuban COFFEE ICE CUBES. Did not dilute the coffee one bit as they melted in the Florida heat. Definitely did the job and well recommended. Need more locations as we stopped in during vacation in Key West.

We went on a recommendation from someone, and we are so glad we did! I wasn't sure I'd like the cuban bagel, but yum! We also had a breakfast sandwich, lunch sandwiches and coffee. All delicious. Coffee was fresh and so good we bought a bag to take home.

Perfect location for ferry's, shopping and food. Across the street from Lost Reef Dive Adventures scuba center. A strong Café Leche after a long "Duval Crawl" the night before. Cuban breakfast items and sandwiches are authentic and amazing. A local standard for the 43 years we've been coming to the Keys. Tim- Diving Director for Summers in Paradise LLC

Loved this no frills sandwich spot! It’s a takeaway window not a sit down restaurant. Got a Cuban sandwich and smoothies and they really hit the spot. Really limited seating but we snagged benches to eat. Saw chicks walking around trying to get some free snacks! Highly recommend!

A little pricey but good. Great location. Always love sitting at the marina and enjoying a cafe con leche :)

We ate breakfast here. I loved the Havana rice and beans breakfast. The coffee was super strong to my preference. I hardly drank any and I was super jittery! Couldn't even finish it. Overall a great place right by the docks.

Cool spot for great Cuban coffee in Key West. You can even buy their coffee beans to brew your Cuban coffee at home!

My favorite coffee and sandwich spot in Key West! They have two locations and both are incredible. This is a MUST GO!! Get their breakfast sandwich or turkey sandwich or side of rice or smoothie - everything is mouth watering great. Their iced Cuban coffee is amazing too!!

Most amazing iced coffee I’ve ever had! I love that they freeze coffee for their cubes so melted ice doesn’t water down the drink. Brilliant attention to detail! The mango ice tea was also fabulous. Chunks of frozen mango in the tea. The Cuban sandwich was super tasty and definitely big enough to share. We went to two different locations and both were excellent! I had the combo Cuban coffee and 1/2 breakfast sandwich this morning and it did not disappoint

Walking the streets of Key West, we stumbled upon this food truck at lunch time, and decided that dining al fresco (otherwise known as pulling up a bench under a palm tree) would be a pleasant way to spend a half hour of our time. $16 purchased a 20 ounce Cuban iced coffee with mocha, and the Jose Marti-- a classic pressed Cuban sandwich. There was enough here for two, and both the coffee and the sandwich were the real deal. If you don't need formal seating, this one is worth your time, but if you are sharing a sandwich, make sure that it is cut all the way through. Pulling it apart with your fingers the way we did is awkward business.

Didn't have coffee this time, but we bought some grounds for enjoying at home! We had a Cuban Mix and it was the best one I have ever had. The service was awesome and location was right by the Waterfront Brewery. Be sure to stop by, it's worth it!

Nice little spot for food and drinks! Food was really good and ready very quickly. Only to-go options. No dine in. Right next to a small souvenir shop! The ladies inside were very friendly!

Best Iced Cuban Coffee that I have ever had! There breakfast sandwiches are pretty amazing too. Expect a long line, however they are fast and friendly! Can't wait to return!

So, SO good!! Best Cuban sandwich I've had in a long time, plus a full breakfast menu ALL day, and fantastic coffee!! I got the Cortadito over ice and it was amazing! Definitely consider having breakfast here before heading out on the water, or grab some lunch after! Yummo!!

Nice coffee and food. The first time I tired Cordadito. Not sure how much it’s close to the authentic Cuban coffee, but a good try. Iced coffee was pretty good also.. We ordered Cuban Queen Mix sandwiches, with chicken and pork. Personally like pork one more. Only thing was the dining environment was not cool…. But overall good.

I just had coffee this morning…. and, I’ll have to say… it was darn good ! Cool little place with some nice covered sitting areas on colorful picnic tables. This gem is tucked away off the street, but an excellent place for some morning coffee.

Great spot for a quick meal right on the socks. Sandwiches were great and smoothies with real fruit. Take your lunch and sit by the dock looking at the fish if you are lucky you might see few sharks while eating a great lunch

Awesome little coffee spot. My girlfriend and I took a trip on the Yankee Freedom to the Dry Tortugas and this place was right next to the boating dock. There were a bunch of people already in line before the business even opened which was cool to see. Coffee was good and the breakfast sandwich surprised me even more. It was HUGE. My girlfriend and I shared one and it was the perfect size to split. Good prices as well and friendly owner.
