Excellent breakfast!! French pastries are awesome! Eggs Benedict of every flavor, salmon toast was decadent…. So good we went twice in 4 days, started and ended our KW trip here.

We ordered takeout and had it delivered, so I cannot comment on anything other than the food and how it was packaged. For starters, I love that our food came in a paper bag, compost friendly containers, and accompanied with bamboo utensils. I love responsibly packed goods! The food was fresh and delicious. My poached eggs just oozed with deliciousness when I sliced into them. The hollandaise was creamy and full of flavor. A job well done!

MUST TRY THIS PLACE! Absolutely the best food and service! The BEST lobster bisque I ever had. The prices are very down to earth for what you’re getting! Great menu and selection. Amazing atmosphere. There is absolutely no reason to have breakfast and brunch anywhere else on the island!

This was a pleasant experience! The wait staff was attentive and the atmosphere was casual. I tried the Benedict on croissant. It was delicious. TheIr French toast isn’t like the American traditional way which is refreshing and it had almost a cake like consistency. The blueberries balance the sweet taste. The orange juice was fresh!

Cool spot, but was hoping for more French pastries and French options. Half the menu is non French like Paninis or Frittata which are Italian. Or "American Breakfast or Eggs Benedict". It's a small gripe, but if you're going to call yourself a French Bistro, it's going to be questioned. That aside, the Quiche Lorraine was ok and flaky, but quite oily. Reminded me of something someone heated back up in the microwave or toaster oven. The croque Monsieur was subpar, but ok. Made with low quality fromage. And their take on "potatoes au gratin" was just some boiled potatoes with some cheese and herbs, really disappointing and honestly just lazy. Food is a 3 out of 5, at least the French things we tried, not sure about the other non French flair. Coolest thing is the atmosphere. Otherwise, it's a big disappointment for as far as French food goes. Don't order French dishes.

Very inviting open atmosphere. Walked the entire length of Duval St to give this place a try. Open seating style, but would have been nice to have the option for AC seating vs the patio. AC was off this day so every table was hot. Seating is tight. Makes it difficult to have a conversation without talking to the table next to you. Water glasses were super small 6 oz glass and didn't get refilled until finishing the entire entree. Water also had a smell like unfiltered tap water. Food looks awesome but missed the flavor spot. Homemade Sausage was a bit heavy on the salty side and the sourdough bread had some really super hard crunchy spots. They have a beautiful case full of desserts and pastries but opted to pass since our experience has several misses. Overall, would probably recommend them for pastries and coffee but I can't comment for sure since I didn't sample them.

Quiche Lorraine, flaky fresh croissant with cream cheese and smoked salmon, mushroom coffee (what?!?), chocolate blueberry bread pudding, oh my goodness, the best pastries I’ve had since I was in Paris! INCREDIBLE!!! Sit on the porch out front and people watch. It’s well worth a visit or two or ten!

Great breakfast joint. Very close to H2O Suites. Better than Banana Cafe that’s across the street. Very nice staff. Fresh breakfast and pastries. Iced coffee is strong and good. Reasonable priced for KW. American Breakfast is the picture below.

Fresh baked pastries and bread, everything was delicious. We came for breakfast but I could have just eaten all of the pastries instead! The restaurant was very busy but still fairly quick for food to arrive. Great service, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the breakfast special and potato special, If you like more cooked scrambled eggs make sure to mention that to your waiter/waitress - the eggs were a little more runny than I would have liked but it was still very good!

My husband and I ate lunch here and it was so delicious we came back for breakfast the next day. The salad had lots of chicken and fresh avocado and bacon on it. My husbands tuna sandwich was so big he took half of it home. The bread is very fresh. My breakfast had so much bacon I couldn’t eat it all. My husband‘s yogurt with granola was very filling. Service was great. The wait staff works well together and took very good care of us. Nice atmosphere too.

The smell of this quaint French bakery draws in to stare at all the freshly baked goods. It's so hard to choose just one, but you don't have to do you? I did, and I decided to get the almond croissant. It was so good, light and airy. Slight sweetness. I will need come back on my next trip for more of this deliciousness.

Went for breakfast and ordered 1. Veggie Croissant Benedict - it’s really awesome 2. Belgian waffle - they give only piece. ( please add one more and charge little extra.) Overall we enjoyed the breakfast and enjoyed few pastries too.

We had the most amazing breakfast at La Grignote. The food was exceptional, with a perfect blend of flavors that left us in awe. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. It was truly a breakfast experience we'll never forget.

So happy we came upon this place! We knew it had to be good from the line outside! Still got seated under 10 minutes and the service and food was amazing! I got the Potato Breakfast - so good! Husband got the lobster bisque and we shared a cinnamon roll. Will definitely go back next time we’re in Key West!

Fantastic French Bakery in Key West! This place is a true treat and very busy so be patient. I grabbed croissants and a latte to go, perfect morning snack. The pastry cases are full of yummy treats! Don’t pass this one up!

Definitely one of my favorite to have breakfast in the keys. The service and food are always great and the food doesn’t take long. They have a lot of options to choose from. I really enjoy their iced chai teas, blueberry muffin, and quiches.

Absolutely awesome experience. Went with the family, and we were well taken care of. We were served by the owner, Dennis, who clearly loves what he does. He explained how some of their dishes are made, detailing the impressive amount of time and effort that go into making them. Fantastic experience and we're so glad we stopped in. Food was mind blowing!

This was the best breakfast my husband and I have ever had- and we’ve tried many breakfast places! This place has it all. Great coffee, and the chocolate almond croissants are the best. We were impressed that the owner Dennis, and staff remembered us the second time we came back after all the people who come in. Just an amazing and friendly environment, with top notch food.

Service was great. Seating was tight. I got the French toast but should have got the waffle. The French toast is like a cake/corn bread consistency. The eggs were really good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 La Grignote, Key West, FL Fabulous Food and Atmosphere, But A Bit Rushed At The End We recently dined at La Grignote and were absolutely delighted by the experience up until the very end. The food was fabulous especially the Eggs Benedict and the Quiche Lorraine. Service was top-notch, attentive but never intrusive. The open-air seating added to the overall island charm, and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. Although the restaurant was bustling, it never felt overcrowded. Instead, the energy contributed to the ambience, and we even enjoyed some friendly conversations with our table neighbors. This was communal dining at its best. However, our experience was slightly marred by an abrupt interaction with Dennis, the owner or manager. Less than five minutes after we paid our bill, he approached us, stating that "people were waiting" and we needed to leave. This felt unnecessary, especially considering we had just finished paying $60 for breakfast and had also tipped our waitress more than 20%. Ironically, Dennis had been engaged in a lengthy conversation with guests at a neighboring table about local government and restaurant fees. The contrasting treatment was both noticeable and disappointing. Upon leaving, we observed that only a single party of six was waiting, making the rush even more perplexing. While we'll still recommend La Grignote for its culinary excellence and most of its hospitality, we'd also advise Dennis to consider a more tactful approach, especially with patrons who have just contributed to his business. He should also take into consideration that the people who come to his restaurant are not all tourists, who may never come back again. They could be like us, who are locals, down in Key West on a staycation, who refer and recommend restaurants and locations all the time to family, friends, and clients. #keywestrestaurants #keywest #lagrignotekeywest #floridakeys

We were here every morning for lattes and breakfast pastries. Coffee strong and smooth, on site baker making a mix of French and Italian pastries. Simple and delicious.

So delicious! I'm coming here every time I visit key west! They had the best Ratatouille I have ever had in my life. And their almond croissants were as delicious as they looked. Staff was friendly and fast. I can't say enough good things about this cafe!
