Starting with this bit of info so it’s seen - CALL to make reservations. Their website is not accurate. If you want dinner plans do it well ahead. I was able to get a less than ideal lunch reservation about 10 days beforehand. Easily the best dining experience of our entire trip to the Keys. Even on a sunny 70° day it was a bit windy so consider wearing layers or something you can easily remove if you get warm. With that being said, they of course had indoor seating available and had heaters outside to help keep us warm. Service was top notch - Aaron was fantastic. Drinks, food, views… everything was top notch. I had the surf & turf burger which I couldn’t even finish. It was SO MUCH lobster. My wife got tacos that were delicious. The lobster bisque soup was the best I’ve ever had and hit the spot on a cool day. I’m not sure if it’s allowed but we did walk around the island a bit while waiting for the ferry back. It’s absolutely idyllic. Unbelievable grounds. Perfect flowers. No cars. This would have been worth the trip alone. I got an extra beer in a to go cup to enjoy while I walked, too. The ferry returns to Key West every 30 minutes. You can either time the end of your meal or kill time on the island. Enjoy! Take it all in.

Latitudes is a magical dining experience any time of day and has been one of our favorites for years! Located on Sunset Key, just off Mallory Square, accessible only to residents and those with Opal Resort stay or restaurant reservations, it’s exclusivity is unparalleled. The cuisine and beverages certainly match. Their seafood is the freshest, presentation is spectacular, and sunset views are the best around. This is the only restaurant in Key West with a dress code, so be sure to check their website for real time updates as the details have changed over the years. You can choose to dine inside or on the beach. Make reservations early (months in advance for dinner is best) via their website/on open table.

We had a wonderful experience at Latitudes when we visited about a month ago. The food was amazing, staff was very helpful and funny (we enjoyed cracking a few jokes), and the location is of course gorgeous. The ferry ride over is a fun addition too. I ordered the carbonara with Key West shrimp. It also had LAMB bacon (what!?). (See the photo and you’ll see what I mean). It was so rich and delicious! But as our waiter warned us it’s a huge dish and could easily feed two! We also ordered the crab cake app, which was also quite good!! It’s not ridiculously expensive so you really get an amazing value for great food. Thank you for the great experience!

We had the best dining experience we have ever had. How cool is it that you take a boat to the island. The service is as amazing as the views and the food. Lobster bisque was outstanding, the Burrata was so refreshing. Great cocktails. The yellow tail snapper was beautiful plated like all the other dishes. Alex our waiter was just so pleasant. It’s always great when the wait staff are as high quality as the overall experience. We hope to come back soon!

Went here for our 20th Anniversary and it did not disappoint. The boat ride was a nice experience to and from the restaurant. Latitudes Restaurant was excellent. The view was exceptional along with the food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant. A note to our soft spoken server Dan. He was excellent and his recommendations were on par. Thank you for making our day extra special!

Latitudes makes an excellent lunch spot. The food and wine selection is on point. What you are here for is the view and the fun of taking a boat to lunch. I recommend lunch over dinner as once it gets dark you cannot see anything and this is about the ambiance. The food is excellent. I had the Latitudes Melt and I was not disappointed. Also, Latitudes always has an excellent cheese tray.

Always love coming here for some of the best breakfast/brunch you can get in the area with the most beautiful view of stunning blue water. Very very well landscaped as well. Staff are always exceptionally professional and friendly and the food is worth every penny!! My husband and I got the smoked salmon Benedict and the lobster Benedict with fresh squeezed orange juice this visit. All was out of this world delicious!!! I highly recommend this place!!

Been here about 5 times now and it's always amazing. Seems to have gotten better with the taste over the years. The wait staff are very attentive and some are long-timers, working there for years, allowing them to provide a much more comforting and special meal. The experience always starts with the short ferry ride to Sunset Key, then a short walk to the resteraunt building and table from the dock. The view is absolutely stunning. There typically isn't a bad seat anywhere in the place, unless you have some sort of obstructed view. Lunch food and portions are amazing, the atmosphere is very calming and has always allowed for a relaxing meal. We tried breakfast for the first time this year, which was the best decision ever. Starting out the day with a full meal and beautiful view couldn't have been any nicer. I recommend making reservations way in advance, as typically lunch or dinner books out a few months ahead of time. Breakfast reservations I was able to get a week prior to our vacation in Key West. Thanks again for an absolutely lovely experience and meal!

Great service and delicious food. My boyfriend is super particular when it comes to food, he was beyond expressed with the chef. We brought my daughter with us, they had a kids menu and coloring page ( which was awesome) we enjoyed the lights on the palms and the Christmas trees were beautiful. Our waiter was super knowledgeable about everything we asked about and he was super friendly. If your planning on going for dinner I definitely recommend bringing a sweater, it was windy when we went and my daughter and I was wishing we had brought one. It was a great experience overall.

I really don't know where to start. Everything was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was beautiful as well as the views and the architecture of the building itself. The staff was very attentive and professional. The food was out of this world good. Money well spent. A great experience from start to finish

Our one fancy meal while in key west. We couldn't book the sunset dinner need a reservation like several weeks in advance. But was able to get a lunch reservation about a week in advance. But the dinning room seemed empty so seemed like there should have been plenty of reservations. You can park in the resort parking garage and get the staff to comp it for free. Then you go to the back of the resort and take a quick boat ride over to the island where the restaurant is. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was nice. I got the lobster bisque and it tasted good. The lobster burger was a little much. The truffle oil on the fries wasn't to much. Some places like to over due it. Everyone else enjoyed there food. We then got to take cool pictures on the beach and then took the boat home. Really no waiting around everything was timed perfectly. If we come again it will probably be for the sunset.

One of the most memorable dining experiences of any vacation I've been to! Definitely make a reservation far in advance if you want to do a sunset dinner here. From the moment that you step off the boat onto the island you know it will be a special experience. We had the tuna poke and octopus appetizers. For dinner we ordered the snapper, grouper, and shrimp carbonara. We all agreed that we would get our dishes again. If you want to do fine dining key west style add this to your list! BTW our server Aaron was fantastic! He was extremely personable and professional.

An absolute must visit. Nothing can be said about sitting beach front, enjoying the sunset and having outstanding food. It’s a one in a million type restaurant. Lobster risotto was incredible. French onion was great. Wife loved her beef short ribs and wedge salad.

A very romantic spot to have a sunset dinner. Their food was definitely overpriced given they were very average. Nothing too special. But the view you will be getting was unreal. Be sure to stay till the sunset. It was spectacular. I also enjoyed their key lime pie. It was the right amount of meringue and key lime filling. It was not too sweet and have the right amount of tartness.

We are so glad we booked a reservation in advance! Every part of the experience exquisite! From the amazing scenery, top notch wait staff, amazing atmosphere, and delicious food! We enjoyed the yellow tail snapper, salmon, salad, carrot cake trifle, key lime pie, and wine. The presentation and taste was great! The ferry ride was quick and had both outdoor seating and indoor Air-conditioned seating. The beaches and water looked amazing on the island. It provided an amazing view during lunch. This would make for a great romantic dinner spot!

Nice place with good food (def try the octopus!) at a nice scenic place. The service could be spotty and unless you stay at the sunset key cottages, plan for the boat trip as well. If you do stay at the cottages, that's pretty much your only option for on the island dining and with the somewhat limited menu and very infrequent off menu items, it could get stale rather fast though

Breakfast was lobster Benedict which is nice in flavor cooked great. The coffee is just out of this world good so nice and smooth easy to drink could probably drink it black. What can you say bout the view nothing like eating breakfast by the ocean with a nice breeze. FYI if you have a reservation you can only board the boat to go across at that time. You can’t board earlier and sit at the bar and drink and that’s not a drawback for going over. They waitstaff is prompt and really takes care of you

Absolutely great experience, from taking the ferry over to their private island to the views from inside (it was a bit too humid for us to sit outside) and great food. This is a must for a key west trip. We started with the cheese board and the barrata cheese and were blown away with one after the other. We came for lunch, so we did salads and sandwiches. But each one was better than the next. Highly recommend for a great food experience.

My family and I loved this placed the most out of all the restaurants we've tried through out our week long stay in Key West. Staff was very attentive, friendly, constantly checking up on us. Food was delicious. The scenery was beautiful. Make a rsvp well in advance, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely the best dining experience! The ambiance, the sunset view, the exceptional staff, and the food was hands down worth every penny spent! We cannot wait to return to Key West and have another magical experience!

The food at latitudes is delicious. Everything is fresh and beautifully prepared. The scenery is breathtaking and the wait staff and back of house was fantastic. For this caliber of restaurant something was missing. I may have come on an off night. We did not get our drinks until after we finished appetizers and they served me the wrong entree. Spicy Margherita was too intense I had to send it back, they kindly replaced it for me. The large patio was also very silent and you could hear the multiple conversations of guests who were eating. They need music for ambience in my opinion. It is worth the experience but slightly missed the mark for me.

I had very high expectations heading into this place. First, what a great boat ride over to the beautiful island. We were immediately seated outdoors with a great view overlooking the water. The waiters went around taking everyone’s drink orders.. except for our table. My husband and I were sitting for AT LEAST 30 minutes before somebody came over to take our drink order. Everyone had their food on their tables before we even got our drinks. Part of it is my fault, I do not feel comfortable asking an employee for service.. I kept thinking they would come over. But they never did. That was a big turn off. Until a lovely waitress came over confused as to why we haven’t been waited on. After that, it was a very positive experience. She definitely flipped it around. Her service was great, the drinks were wonderful, and the food was delicious. A part of me didn’t mind waiting so long for service.. only because we got to enjoy the beautiful view for so long. But it definitely would’ve made the experience better. Overall, I give it 5 stars. What a cool place.

From the ferry ride to the lovely table at the waters edge this was a special experience. We enjoyed the fresh cake cake appetizer with that incredible creamy corn sauce and the yellow tail snapper and grouper were fresh, cooked to perfection and delicious. Allowing substitutions on the sides was a plus. The service was great and we never felt rushed even though our reservation was at 8:45pm and the last ferry left at around 11pm. Loved the cool LED menus. I can finally check this off my bucket list (although I’d love to come back during the day and enjoy the water views). Overall a very memorable experience. Sit outside if you can. We were there last week of April and the weather was perfect.

This restaurant was gorgeous and delicious! We made a reservation for lunch, and we chose to eat outside on the patio. The mixed drinks were well prepared, and the food was excellent. The lobster bisque was the best I've ever had: plenty of lobster throughout the dish, and the flavor was perfect. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in town.

Latitudes was hands down amazing. We celebrated our engagement and my fiancés birthday here. The charter to and from, the ambiance, view, staff and food were beyond my expectations. I would recommend anyone to dine here. We will be back! Thank you for making our celebrations so special and memorable!

One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. The view is spectacular. They restaurant is located on an island so if you go at the right time of day you are surrounded with the sunset. Fantastic food creations. Be sure to try the key lime colada. Perfect for a warm key west day.
