The atmosphere here was better than I hoped for. Located right on Duval St but the garden deck provides a very intimate feeling for dinner. Beautiful greenery with lighting draped throughout and not a crowded feeling. Highly recommend the conch cakes and goat cheese croquettes to start! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Recommended by the locals and this place was GREAT! It is BYOB, but they do have beer and wine. All the food is fresh caught - which we found out a lot of the places use product from Cisco and Costco... weird since you have so much fresh fish available so close. ANYWAYS, we met the owner and he was very friendly and helpful on selections. We had escargot and mussles in a wine sauce for appetizers - very very good. Main meal was the catch of the day, yellowtail snapper with mashed taters and veggies... the fresh crusty sour dough bread served with everything was soo good as well. It's more small, romantic setting, and the prices were as expected. Great jazz music was playing in the background. 5 Star for sure!!

Great place. A bit expensive: we spent 100$ in two main dishes + 1 beer + 1 Diet Coke. No coffee, no dessert. The sea food pasta was incredible, best shrimps I ever had. Super tasty and big. The pasta was very well cooked. Attention was very good and fast.

A nice cheese plate with two cheese, apples, blueberries, nuts, is only $14 ya'll. Pair with a great glass of wine. Wagyu burger medium is crazy good. Great management.

Absolutely incredible, high-quality options with a low key locals atmosphere. Basically the opposite of what you'd expect on Duval, and in all the right ways! Well done, Blackfin. 👌

Beautiful place, friendly staff and delicious food. We couldn't be more thrilled to spend our first evening out in Key West, dining at the Blackfin Bistro. The location was perfect and towards the more "sophisticated" part of the busy Duval street which meant we could truly enjoy our meal with a true 360 ambience around the experience. Thank you to Gabor for recommending the specials of the house to us, we were really impressed by the way you had added an extra layer of flavour to the dishes. Couldn't recommend it more. Do try to go here at least once for a true gastronomic experience.

If restaurant is an experience this is the right place to be! The back yard is gorgeous, the food is simply amazing! We had the tuna tartare, beat salad, octopus, grouper and crème brulle! All dishes were amazing! I will be back! I also highly recommend this place. Great vibe, amazing food, smiley staff!

We are here on our honeymoon from AZ and writing this before we even leave because we are so blown away. Hands down the best service, food and restaurant we have been to in a very long time! If you are in Key West- this should be a definite place to stop.

The whole team was very accommodating and attentive. Courses perfectly timed and worth the price. Courtyard seating was a vibe! 10/10 reco goat cheese croquettes and the octo special.

One of Key West best kept secrets. The back garden is amazing and you would never know it’s there. In fact you would never expect the food and service just by looking at it from the street. DONT GET THIS ONE GET BY.

I got the seafood pasta and it was amazing! I love the creamy sauce. I modified it and got no mussels and extra shrimp! It was perfection. My family and I sat on the back patio and it was dreamy!!

First time to the Keys and first restaurant we visited. Small interior with dark finishings makes for a romantic mood. Wine and beer options were great but we stuck to water after a day of travel. We had two specials: a grilled octopus with a tempura fried avocado and a sauce that was to die for as well as a tilefish (I think that's what it was called?) with rice and broccoli in yet another delicious sauce. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant to interact with. So glad we stopped in!!

Had an amazing meal here! We watched a few different groups of locals come in while we were here - it’s evident that it’s a beloved spot! We also have a broad range of dietary preferences and everyone had something they loved (fish to burgers to pasta to salads) and the staff was very kind, welcoming and patient - we were so impressed by how hard they worked and how gracefully they navigated the small space & worked together! We had an amazing meal and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend!!

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner here. She enjoyed the Shrimp Provencal and I had the Wagyu Burger. Super fresh ingredients and attentive service. Dine inside or enjoy the delightful courtyard.

Nice quiet, good food, very pleasant service. Great place to cool down and relax. Loads of over rated places in key west, this is not over rated. Well deserved.

Blackfin Bistro was a wonderful recommendation from our hotel bartender! We were sat immediately at a street side indoor table, good for people watching. We both went for the black grouper special and it did not disappoint! It was a huge piece of grouper and it was perfectly prepared…delicious! Service was quick and friendly. I will definitely go again!

Excellent! My husband and I loved everything about this place! The atmosphere is lovely, the wait staff is kind, attentive without being bothersome, and give perfect recommendations. All the food was delicious and the wine the server recommended accompanied the meal perfectly. If you are visiting, then this place has to be on your list!

Should have taken more pics! But ate it all it was so good. Great service, super friendly and patient. Helped us decide on menu items since it was out of our comfort zone. Not a full bar but truly great experience! Had the lobster rolls and spinach/goat cheese salad. 100%!!! Mike and staff were awesome.

Blackfin Bistro saved our lives!!! We started out with goat cheese croquettes and mussels with white wine sauce! The croquettes were out of this world and the mussels were delicious! Then we had the shrimp entree that had a pesto sauce and the grouper special! Both were cooked to perfection and amazing tastes/flavors!! Our server was super friendly and very attentive. 10/10 would go back again
