We
traveled
down
to
Key
West
for
the
weekend
for
a
couples
getaway
from
the
Panhandle.
We
saw
this
location
and
were
really
excited
to
try.
Though
it
was
a
tad
out
of
our
price
range,
its
curb
appeal
had
us
hooked.
We
walked
up,
unsure
where
to
go,
as
no
one
was
ready
to
greet
us.
We
walked
through
the
dining
towards
the
bar
area,
where
we
crossed
paths
with
the
host.
She
was
friendly,
we
were
sat
quickly,
but
waited
15
minutes
to
be
spoken
to.
In
the
meantime,
as
a
stickler
for
hospitality,
I
observe
the
team,
their
ways,
their
energy
and
overall
system
to
service.
There
were
not
many
smiles
in
this
crew.
Their
energy
seemed
low,
and
the
excitement
within
a
tourist
location
was
lack
luster.
As
two
people
who
were
absolutely
pumped
to
be
in
the
Keys,
this
was
a
perfect
opportunity
to
sell
us
on
the
experience
of
The
Stoned
Crab,
and
it
missed
from
the
start.
I
am
disappointed
in
this
because
it
is
such
a
great
location,
the
decor
sells
an
awesome
vibe
and
the
potential
to
be
a
really,
really
incredible
business,
however
all
of
that
means
nothing
without
a
happy
crew.
Not
one
smile
was
seen,
not
among
the
staff,
or
within
the
interactions
with
their
guests.
