👍 Shake it off! Let’s start by saying the shakes we ordered tasted great. It took almost 20 minutes to get our shakes. The fruit used was not fresh fruit, but poured out of a bag in frozen blocks. We stopped by randomly on the bicycles. Staff wasn’t the happiest or most tentative. I will stop by... People often mention Cuban, sandwich, good, great, West, coffee,

Shake it off! I will stop by at some point in future to try the food, but won’t go out of the way. Customer service is very important on how you reflect to your customers.

Best Cuban sandwiches in the Key West. I ordered the Grilled Chicken sandwich and the Mamey Smoothie. The sandwich was fresh and has great flavor while the smoothie was very refreshing. The store is always busy.

This hole in the wall located inside the laundromat is worth trying for the Cuban sandwich. It definitely lives up to the hype. The key lime pie is pretty good too, though I don’t think it’s made in house.

Their Cuban mix sandwich was so amazing. I was told by a friend that their Cuban sandwich was the best Cuban out there. Supposedly it's the original, and I believe it. The sandwich really blew me away. I could see myself getting it again before leaving this vacation. The fries were also good and the sweet plantains were different, but good. It is a must try. Like for real!!!

We stopped at Sandy’s for some Cuban Coffee and a bagel. It was not open yet when we arrived but staff asked us to wait 2 minutes and they opened to make our coffee. We were greeted by Monica, she was very polite & personable! Cuban coffee was delicious along with our bagel. Thank you Monica for the EXCELLENT service you provided us. This is a must while your in Key West! Now back to Texas.

I ordered to go, calamari at the location on south street, $14.99 was horrible, I counted 13 small pieces were very dry and tasteless, it smelled like burned oil. Stay away from this location, the food is very poor quality, and the prices are very high compared to the portion.

Sandy's Cafe is one of my favorite places around Key West for Tacos or Cuban sandwiches. The portions are larger than most places around town. Outdoor barstools only for seating. I usually order my food to go, since it's so hot in Key West. They also offer delivery service.

Fantastic spot for a quick bite or coffee! We had the iced cafe con leche and it was so great we had to come back the next day for more. Also we got egg & cheese on croissants and they were the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Perfectly flaky croissant & fluffy eggs with melty cheese- it doesn’t get any better than this! Can’t wait to come back for more! 🧀

This was a fantastic stop for a Cuban sandwich! The sandwiches were extremely filling, I could only eat half. The staff were friendly and the food came fairly quickly.

Delicious Cuban coffee and authentic Cuban sandwich. External seating only. They offer delivery!

Bad pic on this one, but this was so great. The entire family got the cuban mix sub and cafe con leches. Seriously, will make what you think a cuban sandwich is, not great anymore. This is so much better and a perfect balance from bun to condiments. Great and inexpensive. Love the locale vibe too. I hope this place continues to thrive. I want to try more sandwich shops for this genre, but would feel like it could be a risk to leave a known winner.

Check out the menu and dessert selection on the laundromat side, but order on the street side. Online ordering preferred. Stand outside and wait for your perfect Cuban sandwich to be prepared. Assembly takes moments, but grilling to perfection takes time; moreso if you want the midnight version. Heavenly acidic notes of pickle and mustard are balanced by oily mustard and salami; fresh tomato and lettuce; and umami from roasted pork rest upon a bed of light bread armored by a toasty crust -- this is the ideal Cuban sandwich, imho.

Went there for breakfast. There were a few customers but the line moved quickly. The cafe con leche was really good. It was sweet but it was good, and hot. The omelettes were big and full of ingredients, not like other places that put a bit of ham, etc, they were packed. The potatoes were good as well, but had oil drizzle on top but felt heavy; maybe it was cooking oil since extra virgin olive oil doesn't feel heavy when ingested. Overall, it was good but the Americano omelette was a bit greasy, the ham and cheese omelette was fine.

What a nice little place. It's connected to a laundry mat, so you can easily get food while you wait for your laundry! How cool! The Cafe con leches are really good and made fast. You will less that 2 to 3 minutes for it on a busy day. The food comes quick too, but be advised they will only call your name once, and if you don't here it your food will wait inside on a coffee machine. You will have to ask for it. I waited 34 minutes because I didn't here the lady call my name, and I was in close proximity lol... food was good tho!

I enjoy cycling before sunrise to capture the beauty of the sky as it lights up with a variety of colors. Very grateful for modern technology … my phone has a good camera. Sandy's Café is near Truman Avenue (Highway 1 ) Several times, I had stopped there, early in the morning for cafe con leche (coffee and milk )and Cuban rice and beans. I sat outside on a stool watching my bicycle, chickens and people, start their day. Once, I finished drinking the caffeine and eating the carbohydrates, I was fueled to go the distance. Sometimes, I reached Cudjoe Key or Geiger key, depending on the wind. If the wind was not manageable, I would stay in Key West and ride around the island, stopping here and there. The weekly bicycle rental allowed me to visit coffee shops and weekly outdoor markets in the Keys. Vhuntermassage LLC
