Appetizer - 5 out of 5. Crab Beignets are superb Generously stuffed Beignets with large chunks of fresh crab meat. Entree - We tried three entrees: Shrimp and Grits - Grits were creamy and flavorful. The shrimp was generously portioned and the bacon gravy was savory Seafood Jambalaya - Was done in traditional New Orleans southern creole fashion. The Andouille sausage was flavorful and carried the dish well. Swordfish Skewers with Coconut Rice - The rice was light, airy and full of flavor. The tropical pineapple salsa was fresh and brightened up the dish. Desert If you like brownie and ice cream look no further. This brownie packs a punch! The brownie was not dense but rich and airy in the middle with health chocolate chunks. Served in a small iron skillet the brownie complimented the ice cream nicely and took care of the sweet craving. Overall highly recommend this spot it is away from the Key West crowd and more of a local and in the know spot. The staff was nice and accommodating, the ambiance was quaint and classy. Located right on the harbor the restaurant is behind the Perry Hotel and the parking is located ajacent to the hotel. If you are coming in later in the evening the fire pits are a nice spot to finish the night.

Nice marina atmosphere. My son and I stopped for breakfast. You can eat inside, or on their large patio which was our choice as it was a beautiful morning. The food was nicely presented and tasty. I had the Greek yogurt w/granola and fruit. My son had the Breakfast Croissant w/scrambled eggs, bacon, american Cheese. We ordered a fresh fruit bowl to take back with us. The fruit was delicious. The manager was on top of things and we had good service in spite of their being short staffed. A nice choice for breakfast on our last morning before heading home.

I came here for a Sunday brunch and it was phenomenal. We sat outside and had the perfect view of the marina. My favorite dishes were the Lobster Sliders and Guava Cream Cheese French Toast. Unlimited food and drinks for this price? You can't beat it on the island!

Beautiful location. You can sit indoors and outdoor and enjoy the view of the marina. The inside of the crab beignets were too soggy to us and we didn’t taste the crab. I think being from a crab loving state Im use to a higher caliber of crab meat being used in recipes 🤷🏾‍♀️. The shrimp and grits was delicious. As well as the cornbread mash. A nice twist to enjoy cornbread.

I highly recommend coming here to eat during your time in key west. The food here is so good and flavorful and fresh. We are huge foodies and this is a spot we won’t forget. We order the crab beignets which were super delicious and packed with flavorful crab meat. The sauce with was perfect and we added some hot sauce which really made it over the top good. We ordered the gumbo soup which was super flavorful and tasted like it had the freshest seafood chunks and lots of them. Very yummy. We ordered the swordfish skewers- the swordfish was cooked perfectly! The whole dish had so much good flavor that all went together perfectly. We also ordered the Grouper gnudi - this was my favorite dish. So flavorful and perfectly made. We also finished it off with the brownie- it was a bit over cooked, we would have loved to see it more moist and undercooked but the salted caramel ice cream on top was really yummy. Overall I highly recommend dinner here on the patio. 10/10.

Was looking for a brunch where you could get a variety of food. Matt's didn't disappoint. You can do the $55 bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's with unlimited small plates or you can do a la carte. We tried to sample all of the small plates but didn't get the acai bowl or fruit skewers The bloody Mary's were the good and they even strained the pulp from my mimosa. The crispy fish tacos, guava cream cheese French toast, lobster slider, benedict, and avocado toast were amazing!!!! The pulled pork slider, oyster rockerfeller, and tuna poke were really good. But you may want to skip the kobi tri tip, sweet toast, and tomato soup. The kobi was not tender. The banana bread was dry. The soup tasted like they took a jar of prego, blended it, and heated it up. But the staff was wonderful and very accommodating. WARNING: If you don't like cilantro, it is on many of the dishes but good news is they have no issues leaving it off. You may have to remind them as you order. Definitely, worth the money.

Would give it closer to a 5 then a 4 Only improvement for an everyday guest was portion size being a little smaller for the price, but staying at the hotel we received a discount card that made it acceptable! Food was good and fresh. She crab bisque was exceptional. So was the chocolate crème brûlée. Great presentation. Nice place with good atmosphere. From an allergy standpoint, limited options. Egg, gluten, and dairy in almost all offerings without substitutes available. Definitely limits the experience for many dishes.

My wife and I came here for an evening dinner - and it's the best decision we made during our week in the Keys. The food was amazing. We happen to be there on a Tuesday - their "BBQ night" - which included a half chicken and some delicious BBQ sauce options. The server was kind enough to get us each of the BBQ options (rather then just one) - just had to ask. The chicken breast was a tad dry, but the wings, dark meat, legs, etc. - everything else was great. We also enjoyed their Crab Beignets and the Grouper Gnudi. Food was excellent, service was even better. Couldn't have asked for a better meal. The only minor challenge was finding it and parking. It's part of the Perry Hotel, so it wasn't immediately obvious where to park. They should add this to the restaurant's website or have better signage out front. In either case, pull into the hotel parking before passing the hotel, and then enter the restaurant through the hotel lobby.

The southern eggs Benedict was a roller coaster of flavors. The fried potatoes, peppers and onions are perfectly cooked. Loved this place.

We want there for a simple breakfast and we loved it. Great service, great view, beautiful hotel. We didn't like the breakfast and the restaurant at our hotel so I was looking for something better as we were checking out and about to drive back to Orlando. I picked this place after looking on Google map and It exceeded my expectations. It was a really great experience.

The food was immaculate that I went twice. My husband and I were looking for great food and we were able to find Matt’s Stock Island. When I come back to Key West definitely will be returning to this restaurant. Incredible service from Zach and Amy.

Quite possibly one of the best breakfasts I have ever had! This is coming from a breakfast foodie! We had the Avocado Toast and Eggs Benedict and both were very good. ESPECIALLY the Avocado Toast. The pic shows how much we loved it.....sorry no actual food pic, it was too good to stop eating.

Delicious meal! We are staying at the Perry and have tried many restaurants around Key West; but this is the best. My wife’s grouper was insanely good; better than my snapper. The little spoon with a shrimp was a surprise and delight. Loved the Key Lime Pie and had to take a pic.

One of the few good breakfast options without a long wait on Key West. The signage isn’t great so just look for the signs for the Perry Hotel and just go in through the main lobby and it will be right in front of you. The unlimited mimosa/Bloody Mary option at brunch is really nice too if that’s the kind of day you are planning :). Service seemed a little lost but the manager did a good job of picking up slack where needed. My wife enjoyed her Bloody Mary and the rest of our table said the mimosas were good. Their take on poutine had good flavor and was a nice breakfast surprise. The breakfast burger was a bit messy but had good flavor and was cooked well. My wife enjoyed her breakfast chicken sandwich as well. As a bonus it’s inside a beautiful hotel on the water. Overall a good breakfast option on the island just don’t be surprised if the service staff needs some hand holding.

Great spot on Stock Island. The brunch is great - pick as many dishes as you want for a set price w/ mimosas thrown in. Loved the açaí Greek yogurt, the egg toast with smoked salmon and the crab roll.

My family and I have been coming to Key West for 10 years and they fish while I relax pool side… today Matt’s Stock Island Kitchen prepared our fresh catch for us and the presentation was so pretty! We love this hotel, the staff and this yummy food! Thank you for a great weekend ❤️ Big kudos to Oleg, Christine, Jaylin, Jayson, Laura and Matt for making our time the best

We were planning on an outside dinner for 12, & last minute decided it was too hot... they quickly accommodated our request & had us all seated in no time at all!! Drinks & food are EXCELLENT! I recommend the snapper, the shrimp & grits, but most of all the Key Lime Pie Martini!! Inside a hotel, follow signs to find it - it's WELL WORTH IT!

Our server was very friendly and the food was good for the most part. But, my dish could use a lot of help presentation wise. It didn't look too appetizing.

My husband found this place and I am so glad we tried it! We needed a break from the busy main part of Key West and the reviews were great so we stopped for dinner. Maryann was one of the best servers we have ever had! She was so knowledgeable about the menu and really made the whole experience wonderful. She was so friendly, kind and attentive! The manager I believe, Nick, was also going around to tables and was very nice. The hostess was welcoming as well. The place itself was very modern and beautiful. The whole meal was delicious. You have to see for yourself!
