I had the 8 oz Australian Wagyu Filet Mignon, cooked medium rare and my wife had the Prime Rib cooked medium rare. Also had calamari and oysters. The calamari was really good, not rubbery like a lot of calamari in restaurants (recommended if you like fried Calamari). The oysters were raw (I prefer steamed to avoid vibrio infection, norovirus infection, and hepatitis A from uncooked oysters) but the oysters had something I have never seen before, they came out with dry ice so the vapor (frozen carbon dioxide) from the dry ice was all around the oysters which was really nice and unique. The hand made sauces with the oysters were excellent. The Waygu was cooked different from other restaurants where I've had Waygu. Normally Waygu is cooked on a Himalaya hot salt block by the chef at your table but this restaurant cooked it on the grill, which was good and soft but not as good as when it is cooked on a Himalaya hot salt block by the chef at your table. As for the Prime Rib, my wife said it was too salty and the asparagus was overcooked and had a burnt taste. We came during happy hour which you can buy one drink and get a free drink, that is always nice. We had two triple chocolate martinis, a little strong with the alcohol for the most part, but no complaints. Live guitar and singer, nice songs but a little too loud, not so romantic. Tables could use table cloths to improve the atmosphere, elegance and style. Roy was our server and he did a great job, very friendly and professional. Ask for Roy's table as you will get great service. A couple tweaks and this could be a 5 star restaurant and like 2019 could be the best restaurant in Key West again. Price was normal for this type of meal and service, $265 with tip and tax. I was actually thinking $465 is normal, but no Himalaya Salt Block with a chef cooking it at your table reduces the price a couple hundred. I've traveled to 124 countries and have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world, so I know food and I feel my reviews are pretty accurate.

Tavern and Town is a part of Marriot Beachside Hotel. This restaurant has alot to offer. We were a party of 6. Prices are average to spicy but the quality is awesome. I went for Chicken Entree and Banana desert. Service was very good. We also tried the calamari, tuna and charcuterie board Tapas. Very tasty food.

Great dinner and service last night for the Mrs birthday. I drive by every day and just don’t stop often enough. We were surprised when Karoly came to the table and took 5 🌟 care of us.

I’ve dined here so many times I can’t count the times. It’s mostly good and the bar has an amazing atmosphere. Often the food is good but tonight I was very disappointed. Our pizza was over cooked… almost charred, I had to ask marinara sauce so I could swallow it. My Prime rib was a huge let down… I usually don’t turn my nose up meat… this time I couldn’t swallow it. It wasn’t worth the effort to cut it with a dull knife. The sides were just awful and did not compliment the dish. The grouper in the other hand was amazing. I should have taken the waiters subtle body language when I order the Prime rid. That’s my fault, he knew… I didn’t listen. Also, TJ at the bar is awesome! Oh well at least our fur babies have Prime rib for breakfast lunch and dinner😂 pictures weren’t the effort.

While staying at the Marriott we were looking for a close place to eat dinner. What a wonderful meal! They have the BEST calamari I've ever had! The staff is friendly, drinks are amazing, (try the Pama martini) Key Lime pie was delicious too. We even went back a 2nd night just to eat the calamari again. We also had the fried Castellano olives and they were good too. I recommend eating here if you're anywhere near the Marriott Beachside Resort. We'll definitely be back.

My meal, was the King Salmon special of the evening. It was delicious. The wine, reasonably priced, was excellent and went well with my dish. We got their French fries as an appetizer. If you've never had their fries, you should try them, because they are amazing!

We're locals that usually come for the great happy hour, but were there for my girlfriend's birthday dinner this week. Our server, Raif, was beyond fantastic. Super friendly, great recommendations, he absolutely made it a great experience for us. The wagyu steak and swordfish dishes were perfect, couldn't have asked for a better meal or better service!

When you want to get fancy and enjoy delicious food and service in key west....this is it! Sometimes the al fresco and flip flops can get redundant. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is delicious! We had Ben as our server and he was wonderful. Drinks were tasty and the food came out perfect. The only complaint I had was the servers helper seemed to have an off day by slapping beverage napkins, and waters on the table and overall he had a not so welcoming demeanor about him- but everything else made up for it! Plus, I guess we all have bad days.

Only complaint I have is that it's really really dark. It's definitely taverny, and once you finish reading the wine and cocktail list, it's a great atmosphere! Food is very good. The menu isn't extensive, it's minimal with excellent options. Happy Hour is great!

We could not believe how delicious the food was at this hotel connected restaurant. The service was exceptional and the portions were large. We ordered the Tavern and Ceasar Salad before the entree and they were both huge! Definitely big enough to share.

Nice classy place with great strong drinks. Must order the fried castelvetrano olives. Hubby and I were fighting over the last one. We also ordered the fennel sausage pizza. It was tasty with fresh ingredients. The crust was slightly over cooked with lots of black on the bottom.

We have been going to Tavern N Town for years. Tonight is my Husband 's birthday and our wedding anniversary. The prices have gone up and the prime rib was half the amount that you usually get. It was also over cooked! The service was very good still but the amount of food for what you are paying for is not worth it. They use to give you a take home bag but have also ceased doing that. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH FOOD! Otherwise we have always loved this restaurant!

Tavern and Town was excellent. With a very sophisticated look this place is not just good it is also classy. As you come in the Bar area is in the center with high tops and a few TVs to catch a game or whatever you want. The restaurant sitting has like different areas but all with view of the large open kitchen. Tables and booths are available. The menu has everything from steaks to seafood and prices are reasonable. Wine list is also very good, lots of options. I had their signature prime rib slow roasted and came with a horseradish sauce that was delicious. Cooked to perfection this prime rib was juicy and fall apart tender. My friend had the linguini with lobster, crab and scallops. (Very good). I almost forgot to mention the butternut squash soup, it was amazing. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to you. Come here bring some friends and have an excellent meal. Thumbs up

Let me start by saying the dessert chef was phenomenal. Molten cake was wonderful and everyone was mesmerized watching her. See the photo below of four staff just lined up at the counter watching her create one of the dishes. Between us we had a salad, a pizza, scallops and vegetable-everything was served with great presentation and most importantly tasted great. If your staying at the Marriott Beachside or in the area, stop in for dinner

Excellent food and service. The place is beautiful. Best chicken crust Parmesan I ever had. My husband had black grouper, very thick and fresh with linguine, mushrooms and asparagus. Our waiter, Karoly, was very knowledgeable of the menu and provided great suggestions. We will be back!

Anna delivered the BEST service. She was attentive and so sweet. We couldn't have asked for me. The food was delicious!! My husband got an all American breakfast and I got the Continental breakfast. Both were filling and were great quality. We highly recommend visiting!

Low lights, candles burning on each table with a pianist playing & singing olden goldies. A wrap around bar is in the front with quieter seating beyond that for a romantic dinner♡ Being a local, they gave my husband his birthday dinner for free!♡♡♡

Flavors and finish on the food was excellent. The red snapper special was fresh and prepared perfectly. The prime rib was also excellent. Went at happy hour to save on the wine. Good house wines.

The food was amazing. Maria was the best server ever she made our night very special. It was my mom's birthday and we all had a wonderful evening. Perfect place for special occasions.

The food was ok. I would not really know. It would have been nice to have a beverage to wash anything down with but the server took our order and we never saw him again. I did hail down a nice person to finally refill my ice tea after my husband finished his steak he never got a steak knife for. Some catsup would have been nice too. Guess we were to much of a bother for this guy/server. Disappointed to say the least. Waited forever for this food. Would never some back.

Absolutely wonderful food, ambiance and staff! Sonia was the sweetest and most attentive server, but all the staff that assisted us was fantastic. Their dirty martini was one of the best i've ever had and the key lime martini was also fantastic. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience every time we dined here during our stay! Breakfast, apps, drinks…all of it delicious and the service was excellent. steam buns app was my favorite. Raif our server went above and beyond, thank you!

Nice looking place, marginal food. Conch chowder, not one piece of Conch, $15 seriously? Fake Wagyu as well. Eaten many great steaks and this isn’t close. Tough, fatty ( not marbled) garbage. Wait staff was great, but that is about it. Try somewhere else. This is not it

I disliked it because the place smelled fish at breakfast, it’s totally under staffed and hence, bad service. The waitress told us that one of the 3 of them resigned during breakfast service because they are over worked. Also, watch out for being charged for warm breakfast items even if you have complementary breakfast with your room! Fresh fruits are awesome though

Amy and MaryJo at the entrance podium were terrific. We walked in without a reservation and they were more than willing to put us on the list for a pretty lengthy wait, but we opted for a togo dinner instead. Order was taken promptly, correct and they were simply kind and helpful women with smiles on their faces. Tavern and Town couldn’t have a better representation of folks at their entrance. Wish the food had a bit more flare to it than it did for the price, but overall, great place.

It's not as great as we hoped. We are locals and have been trying to get there for over a year. Friends said place was great with an awesome happy hour. Only drink specials on happy hour, unfortunately, no food anymore. Very expensive for what you get. It was a romantic atmosphere and clean.

Spent my birthday here. Had exceptional & attentive staff, food was great, i had strip steak, cooked perfectly, & desserts were incredible!! Best of all my meal was free because of it being my birthday, they even brought out a dessert plate with 'happy birthday' written in chocolate & a candle!!

Amazing service, amazing food. The server from Turkey 🇹🇷 did an amazing job! We Celebrated my birthday here. I would gladly come back and I would recommend this place to anyone. We loved it! Only one small thing, it was very dark. Me and my friends had this complain. I understand it’s typical for fine dining restaurants, but a little brighter wouldn’t hurt anyone.
