I have never eaten here but for over a decade when I come to Key West this is the prime spot I come to for my get frozen beverage. Key West has plenty of options for this style of drink but I’ve always found Flying Monkeys to have the most efficient and friendly service as well as consistent quality mixes. Prices are very reasonable and if you’re drinking on Duval Street and find yourself in need of a frozen daiquiri style drink this should be on your short list.

Fun and bustling atmosphere with an outdoor feel to it. Our group of three had Quesadillas for an appetizer which were a tiny bit spicy, but good. For mains we had the Smoking Joes ribs that were falling off the bone delicious. The Caribbean steak which was tasty and filling. And I had the key lime shrimp. They were good but the portion could have been larger. A good meal but not the greatest. Service was good.

We stopped in at the Flying Monkey while we were in Key West and we thought it was a great restaurant and Bar! We loved the atmosphere and all the different types of alcoholic frozen drinks. We were also pleasantly surprised that they made us to go cups so we could take our frozen Drinks with us. I had The Pain in the … my husband had The Flying Monkey both were delicious. Make sure you stop by for at least one drink when you’re in Key West.

While taking a bike day in Key West we chose to stop this restaurant to have lunch. The place was very busy but we still got a no waiting time. Great service from or waitress, I got the Fish taco rice and black beans and my husband chose the fried grouper and fried. The taco fisg was huge. I had to get a carry out for the 2nd one. Not so happy about the black beans and rice. Being at Key West I thought these beans would have a more cuban taste Which did not as I imagine…. Was more like a Mexican style which makes more sense since is taco meal. Also a rain came buy for quiet a while and tarp’s are pretty worn out and most of tables inside got soaked. My husband had to move his chair and dish plate, but that wont stop my desire to come back again. Food is amazing. And so unique watching chickens and roosters around each of these restaurants around Duval st.

Location is great. Right on Duval. We sat outside on a hot day, but they had plenty of fans, shade and misters helping to make it bearable. Service was great. Our server was nice and very attentive The food was very good. Started with the tex mex rolls. Very good start. I had the crusted chicken Romano, while my wife had the key lime shrimp. Both werewvery delicious Like most outdoor seating in key west, you have roosters running around trying to get at your food. One actually jumped on our table. A great experience overall

Great atmosphere, great drink, friendly staff! We loved our time here and appreciated how we were able to mix and match our frozen drinks! Sadly, the conch fritters weren’t very yummy and we didn’t finish it. However, we will most definitely be back:)

Jessica at the Flying Monkey is phenomenal! The drinks are great, but her personality and hospitality is what kept us coming back time after time! She remembered my entire group and the drinks we drank, made recommendations, made sure we were always taken care of no matter how busy they were. She even held her known against our playful banter. 5 stars to Flying Monkey, 10 stars and our appreciation to Jessica.

Frozen drinks were good. Very large selection. Bartender comped one of our drinks for my bday. Didn't have anything to eat but what we could see others eating looked good.

This is was amazing experience. We have been here at day time. Just for drinks. Then went for walking and came back at late evening. Tim, the waiter, he was remembered our drinks we ordered at day time. We made refills. The we got food experience. For this price you will get a nice dishes. I got medium rare burger it was amazing. Juicy, not too fatty. So we are all got a great experience. Thank you Tim. You are the best.

Very nice atmosphere. The staff was nice and friendly. We had the conch fritters, the shrimp and the shrimp and bacon sandwich. The food was ok, the margarita with the floater was even better! Nice place to relax after walking around in the sun.

Seems the food was good from what I observed but wasnt hungry so I cant really say. I gave 5 stars for the bar tender service and the rum runner was pretty good. Though a frozen drink, there was a variety! But what I got definitely had some good rum in it. It wasn't just a slushy..thats for sure.

Rad atmosphere with awesome frozen drinks to cool you off. Great bartenders and fun little spot to visit as your crusing Duval st.

Love the dranks! Pina colada heaven plus about 20 other frozen drinks. They even have a virgin frozen drink for the kids. You'll know it when you see it. Don't be afraid of these flying monkeys... They only want to get Dorothy drunk this time. Add a floater shot of your choice and enjoy Duval street

OMG I love love love the food and the service. Give them a try when your in the area, Duvel in Key West. I give them ❤❤❤❤❤.

It may be advisable to hire a manager to be on duty to manage customer expectations. The food was ok, but when we had a problem with one of four orders, the waitress’ response was negative and she told us that she was paying for one of our drinks. When a meal is grossly over cooked, why should a waitress have to absorb any cost out of their own pocket? Attitudes abound all around. Bad business.

Really fun place. Great location. Very friendly staff. The banana split is amazing.

Amazing. The food and the service was great. I got stung by a bee and the staff did everything to help and constantly asked if I was okay. Our waiter's name was Tim and he was very nice and made sure we were comfortable. The food and drinks were also amazing. I got a fried fish sandwich bigger than my head and it was the best fish sandwich I've ever had. Their slushies are ice cold and just the right amount of sweet. This restaurant is a must on your list of places to go in Key West.

Quick and simple to order a frozen drink to go. My family and I tried a variety of flavors. We really enjoyed the Mojo (cherry flavor). These frozen drinks kept us nice and cool while battling the heat in Key West. Definitely ice cold and refreshing. We all agreed to go back for a second drink. A floater is definitely a great option to complete your frozen drink. I would recommend two floaters for the jumbo drink to go.

We only had their frozen drinks. Take away and walk with. Mudslides was great. Pina Colada’s we’re amazing. Best I’ve had. Add a shooter and you won’t be disappointed. Well, actually the only disappointment is the fact they don’t have a refill station at the other end of Duval Street!! 😉 I will keep my cup and come back as often as I can!

Always the best and most delicious frozen drinks, always a great time! We go back multiple times everytime when visiting Key West. Recently tried the Piña Colada, Mudslide, and Banana Split what a dream! They never miss! 10/10 recommended!🍹🍹

Christian was an excellent bartender and helped us decide what drink we wanted when we were being indecisive. He was super friendly and fun to talk to without being pushy or over the top. The drinks were great and just what we needed after a long, hot day. Can’t wait to come back!

Flying monkeys and Ruby Roo, too. Pre-mixed frozen daquri stand and for the brave, you can get an extra $3-$4 shot in your drink. Located right next door to Fogarty's restaraunt, this is a great place to visit on a hot Key West day to cool down. The Ruby Roo has 151 Rum and was fine without the extra shot. My wife got the Dirty Monkey (like a Dirty Banana) and she really enjoyed it as well. If you want to drink in Key West this is a place you want to stop in.
