Beautiful tribute. Free entry. Homeless in park but not a deterrent

Found a little shade to take a nap with my lover πŸ’•πŸ’• Quiet open park. Basketball hoops. Women beware! Bathrooms do not lock! Creep corned me in the bathroom. Inappropriately touched himself!

They desperately need locks on the bathroom doors. While my GF was in the women's room, a man walked in on her. He accosted her, blocking her from leaving, and acted in a very inappropriate manner. This is cause for alarm, and it's a good thing that one of us (he or I) didn't end up in the hospital or morgue, and the other in prison. If it wasn't for this encounter, I would have given this park ⭐⭐⭐, πŸ€” ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love to spend a little time here when I go to Key West. I try to pick up any trash or wayward palm fronds if I see them lying around. This time I picked up some Big Gulps out of the bushes but the Parks Department does a good job with it. I enjoy walking around there and reading the tribute to veterans sitting on the band stand steps, talking to other people who might be there, and people watching. This is an interesting place to spend some time and not be doing a whole lot except hang out.

They were selling many artifacts here mostly home made. Over all children were playing basketball and being active at the park... I hardly see that nowadays. Plenty of chickens or roosters... The memorial was a very interesting. I enjoyed stopping by this park on my way to Key West Southernmost Point.

Very organized park. Liked the very calm beach in particular. Water was very warm.

Didn’t think much of the park. The Veterans memorial is there and that’s worth a look.

The Key West annual seafood festival was a great way to spend my sunday. From great seafood, decadent desserts, and beautiful crafts, to live music that makes you want to sing along, this festival had something for everyone. The weather was beautiful and locals all had good vibes as usual. Thank you city of Key West for hosting another wonderful event!

I'm a combat veteran, I went there to watch the Veteran's Day ceremony. The members of the veteran community in Key West are very understanding & supportive of each other. I'm proud to be a member of our veteran community & love them all like family.

It’s just a park. BUT… there are chickens! And also restrooms!
