I have been going here for 20 years and every single time it’s amazing. Consistency is so rare with restaurants but not this place. Of course the BLT Benedict is a must try. It’s fantastic. However, you will not go wrong with any of the other items on the menu. Their pancakes and banana bread and lunches and dinners are also equally as consistent and fantastic. Plus, this place is extremely fast. I consider this a must stop when in Key West.

Great place for dinner with perfect portion sizes! They had a good variety of healthy meals including vegan options. Waiter was also very accommodating with special requests. Their key lime pie, topped with meringue instead of the traditional whipped cream, was delicious. There was a bit of a wait but they do have a lovely waiting area across the street with plenty of seating, ambiance, and drinks available as well. Made the wait go by so much quicker.

Very popular place. Was recommended to come here by coworkers and there was a long line to get in here. Long waits. But if you eat at the bar then no wait , so that's what I did and definitely loved it here. Came here for brunch. Food was delicious. The staff are attentive and courteous . I had my espresso martini which was excellent and lobster Benedict. Highly recommend.

This place feels like you’re in another country. The majority of the seat is outside underneath a canopy of trees. Chickens walk around (this is all of key west) and just add to the “you would never see this where I live”. We had the scallops. Yum!! So good. The sauce was incredible. We had the pork tenderloin and the yellowtail snapper. The sauce was delightful and we ate every bite. We aren’t a fan of the key lime here (5-6 inches of meringue) so we decided to try their version of banana foster. It was amazing! Live jazz music was being played and that was so good and so fun. Food was 5/5 and the best we had in key west. The atmosphere was fun and different. Highly recommend.

Really liked it here - we didn’t have to wait for a table and the service was prompt and attentive. The atmosphere is the real draw - the casual setup, plus the chickens and cats, was unlike anything else we visited on our holiday. The chickens and babies wander around whilst you eat - amazing! The food was good - not great - with decent portions. The key lime pie was good but, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, might have been better without the meringue. However, just personal opinion - loads of people love it as-is. We visited on a day where there was record heat and struggled with the lack of air con (with it being outside, of course). Bear this in mind if you also visit on a roasting day!

Service is always above average, and the food was out of the world. The spices on the pork and filet were to die for. They serve my favorite key lime pie on key west with a fantastic thick layer of meringue.

Was recommended to come here for the key lime pie, would recommend coming here for anything just to experience the atmosphere. Asked the bartender if spiny lobster was in season (it wasn't on the menu) and he said it was and I could add it to any of the dishes on the menu. Added it to the macro green bowl. So tasty! Had a side of the plantains which were tasty too.

Such a great little place. Definitely a must visit while in Key West. I recommend arriving right when it opens because it seems to get busy fast. My husband and I eat here every time we visit Key West and always have a great experience. Our most recent visit I enjoyed the Miso Eggplant salad and it was probably the tastiest Eggplant I've ever had. My husband enjoyed the heritage pork tenderloin. We ended with Key lime pie (of course the best) and banana Heaven. We enjoyed listening to live music while eating our meal. Definitely recommend!

So we had a delicious breakfast this morning. I would tell you arrive early. There was no way when we got there but when we left there was a lot of people waiting. It’s a great location close to everything in town. I had the lobster omelette, which was a special for that day not crazy price I think it was like a dollar more than a regular one and really good. The pancakes are amazing. The banana bread is amazing. It’s just quintessential Key West. I think love watching all of the chickens roam around. My kids are really enjoying that as well. at least three or four tables brought their dogs. I thought that was funny too. I would say we came at lunch and it was good but the breakfast hits it out of the park. Service was very good but They were really busy at lunch and while they were busy at breakfast not the first maybe 20 minutes or so so we had really good service the entire time. if you have to wait, there is ping-pong across the street. My boy played a pick up game with another kid.

Tropical vibe of this place allowed us to chill and enjoy the day at our leisure. I'm sure this place is hopping on the weekend which made the ease of getting here on a lunch/afternoon special. They have a full bar (although we missed seeing any drink menu). Music was a nice complement to create an added plus to this experience. Roaming chickens added to the entertainment. 🐓 Lunch menu consists of breakfast items (pancakes till noon) and some lunch options. Great for the late riser. Wished they had more lunch options but food was superb. Eggs cooked perfectly, and flavourful shrimp and grits. Banana bread is moist and a must have.

HELLOOO HEAVEN!!!! What a FUN place to eat. They’ve Incorporated a restaurant into the natural environment. All the staff was very friendly and tentative. Outdoor breakfast at its finest. Delivery of the food was prompt, taste was even better. Wish we would’ve had more time to hang out and look around. The decor was absolutely amazing.

Blue Heaven indeed! This place is AWESOME. Best Sunday brunch I have had in a long time. Shout out to PAUL who is an amazing server. You had me at grits. Shrimp and grits!! Creamy tasty salty goodness. The shrimp are perfectly cooked and seasoned. The grits were impressive. My husband had eggs Benedict and was very pleased. The outside seating is very relaxing and there are live chickens walking around. The menu is huge. The upstairs bathroom, as our server Paul described, is indeed very interesting. See my pics. Really enjoyed this place and I hope you check it out as well.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out, and finally did this morning. Absolutely amazing atmosphere, super great staff and service, and the food was amazing! I had the breakfast special. Shrimp, sausage (they make their own sausage), spinach and tomato with white cheddar omelette with homemade bread. All the veggies were so fresh. Love it!!! You must try when here.

Stopped by Blue Heaven for the famed Milehigh Key Lime Pie on my birthday trip to Key West! I was super excited to try this! Definitely delicious! The atmosphere was super rad! We’d never been any place like this so it was for sure a memorable experience!!

Atmosphere was fantastic! Went for Sunday brunch. Just 2 of us. We sat at the bar and avoided the hour and 30 min wait (make reservations). Servers were super nice! However, the kitchen forgot to make my wife’s food. I got mine and ate some but then waited for her food to come out. The eggs weren’t seasoned at all. Added salt, pepper, and hot sauce and it was good. Loved the chickens roaming. I’m not generally a fan of live music at breakfast places, but really enjoyed the performers. Added to the ambiance for sure.

A must go on a trip to key west! The food is delicious, highly recommend any of the options with lobster. The key lime pie is delicious. They also have great live music. It’s a nice chill vibe on the back patio. Highly recommend and will definitely go back next time we are in key west!

Shocked and delighted to walk in on a Saturday night and get a table for two! Food is so so delicious - fresh, sustainable, local when possible. Atmosphere is just perfect. You need to be open to the Key West vibe - hopefully you get it…outdoors, chickens to entertain, great service and a cheeky sense of humor is what it’s about…in addition to a great meal and live music. This will always be on my Top 3 places to eat in Key West. Don’t miss the mile high key lime pie.

From a local: Thank god this meal was free (we had a gift card) because this is definitely not one of the better restaurants I’ve been to in Key West. The wait to get in for Sunday breakfast was not bad. Only 30 minutes for 4 people and was not very expensive ($103). However, we waited over an hour for our food. The food was not that great. The pancakes look like rubber and for some reason had a hint of pumpkin. The utensils to drink and eat with were absolutely filthy. There was chunks of food in the water. Spotted forks and even a chipped mug. Talk about a hazard. Our waiter also completely forgot one of our orders and my boyfriends meal was wrong entirely. We even waited over 20 minutes for a forgotten Pepsi. Definitely a good place to go if you want to waste your time. Not a good place to go if you don’t want to waste your money and appetite.

We were told this was the place to go for breakfast so of course we had to try it out. I got the eggs, home fries, spicy sausage and homemade toast, my wife got the loaded bowl (sorry no picture), and we decided to get a single pancake to try. First, the good, there’s going to be a wait however, they have ample space that is shaded for you to wait. The homemade bread and hot and spicy sausage was really good. Other than that it was just okay. The service was slow and everything else was just okay.

Staff was amazing, the waiter took really good care of us. This place is a nice relaxed, comfortable setting, nice music that wasn’t hard on the ears but the food left me kind of disappointed after reading so many good reviews. The Tennessee burger wasn’t bad but the Jamaican Jerk Chicken was more than just mildly spicy and the bland tasting rice and beans didn’t do the dish any favor’s however the cornbread was amazing. They say the Key Lime pie here is one of the best in the Keys but we didn’t feel like dessert tonight.

I went to this place because a friend from my work told me to check it out. You're dining outside with the roosters and baby chicks! They also have live music here too that was very nice. Our waiter Paul was very nice, and was attentive. I had the special, 3 egg omelet with lobster, my wife had the eggs benedict with homemade sausage patties and a piece of banana bread. Washed everything down with a nice Titos screwdriver. All the food we had here was delicious. If you're in the area, please check this place out. We will definitely be back!

This has been a favorite of our family for over 10 years. It's a hidden gem and if you are in Key West, you MUST go. The outdoor atmosphere is amazing. Live music and phenomenal food. For breakfast or lunch, my favorite is the lobster Benedict. The dinner menu is also excellent. I can't recommend this place enough.

First of all, this is where you'll get the best key lime pie in Florida. Obviously the food is outstanding and the service is excellent but the atmosphere is what sets Blue Heaven above other spots in the area. The outdoor courtyard setting with live music and art gallery is what got us to return again the next day. As with any restaurant of this calibre, there's a high demand and they don't take reservations. Not a problem though as they own the bar across the street so go grab a drink there and enjoy your time. Make sure to check out the gift shop. There's some unique items including tee's with designs from local artists and key lime pie to go.

🎵 Oooh baby do you know what that’s worth? Blue Heaven is a place on earth!!! 🎵 Seriously, if you visit the Conch Republic and do not try Blue Heaven, you’re missing out on life. We’ve come here sober and hungover, and never been disappointed! And, if you’re hungover, just order a Heavens Punch, because: hair of the dog. My fave all time dish here is their shrimp and grits. Always flavorful, with the perfect combo of butter and cheddar grits. I’m salivating as I type this review. Plus, their key lime pie is Top 3 (Pepe’s and Thirsty Mermaid are the other 2) in my book for best key lime pie in Key West! That meringue lures you in. The texture and sweetness of the pie leaves you satisfied!

It’s such a fun place to eat. Our waiter was super nice. The chickens were entertaining while waiting for dinner. Will for sure come back. I had jerk chicken and some type of raw fish dish and that was my favorite. Was a great memory.

Highly impressed with Blue Heaven. Great drinks, and even better food. I got the local snapper. It was lightly breaded to perfection served with angel hair pasta, corn, green beans, corn bread, fruit, and the best garlic sauce I’ve ever had. Every part of the meal paired together heavenly. Portion sizes were superb. It also has a unique outdoor seating area that was very relaxing and vibey.

AMAZING!!!! Best breakfast I've ever eaten. Had the "BLT" omelette, which was bacon, lobster and tomato. Was hands down the best breakfast/omelette I've ever eaten!!! My girlfriend had the shrimp and grits and loved it. Everything down to the toast was homemade and it was incredible. Fully recommend!!!! Service was stellar too! Almost forgot, had the key lime pie for Breakfast dessert, was unbelievable. Nothing like key lime pie in Connecticut.
