We had a fabulous stay at the pier house! I went with my parents to celebrate my birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The housekeeping was super attentive and friendly, the bartender and servers at the outdoor bar/restaurant were wonderful, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. We saw a gorgeous sunset from the sunset terrace and we could walk everywhere within the downtown area! I wanted to stay longer and enjoy more of the amenities. The beach and pool looked wonderful. It felt like we were on a resort on a Caribbean island! Absolutely would stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful place and the staff is incredibly friendly. One of the bartenders told me she loved working there because they are like family. She said another bartender had been there for 25 years. One of the best things about Pier House is how conveniently located it is. It is at the end of Duval St where there are great restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. It is also. Only a short walk to the marina. There is also a CVS right across the street for anything you might need.

I spent a week working remotely from the property and couldn't have more phenomenal things to say! The food at One Duval was absolutely delicious - do not miss out on their waterside breakfast - and the private beach was the most stunning location to catch up on some emails while catching some rays. We also had a suite in the spa building and our patio was so large with so much space for relaxing and entertaining. Can't wait to go back!!

An amazing resort with an incredible, friendly staff! We stayed for a business trip with about a day and a half of personal time, and had a fabulous time all around. Check-in and check-out were very easy, rooms were beautiful, private beach and bar were fantastic, as well as the food and drinks. The hot tub is in a secluded area, but that meant it was almost always empty! The resort is also super close to everything on Duval Street. While we were checking out, I heard a staff member speaking with a family that was checking out, and it sounded like they went back many years. It was very cool to see that relationship between staff and guests, and if they've both been working there/coming back for years, that must be a good sign! Wonderful trip/experience all around. Would feel luck to stay here again sometime! Thank you, Pier House!

Absolutely beautiful lush tropical grounds. The beach was small but perfect. We loved the private beach chairs off to the side, but only sit there if you like the company of the local iguanas. They were awesome and just hung out around us. We never touched them or felt afraid. We were happy that they did not mind sharing their home with us. There are other areas with beach chairs if you are not fond of the local wildlife. The beach service was excellent and the Mango Tango Tea cocktail was the best, had several. The location can’t be beat. It was so close to everything we wanted to do. I miss being there already. Thank you Pier House for having such a beautiful resort and friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

We stayed 4 days and they didn't clean the room until our third day but otherwise...This is such a gem, a nice little quiet oasis amid all the hustle and bustle at the end of Duval. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Towels and linens were luxurious. The restaurants had great food and the beach was just perfect. Service in every aspect of the resort was superb (except for the minor issues with housekeeping). I'd totally recommend Pier House and we'll definitely be back!

I think our pictures speak for themselves. The pool was so deep on one end that my 6- foot husband had to tread water b/c he could not touch bottom. We loved watching memorable sunsets every night. Your hottub visit is a must do at the spa area. Remember to turn on the timer (up to 15 minutes to soothe achy body parts from walking around all day). Staff member Mike helped us with a heavy item packing up the car to leave. Great experience all around. Would definitely book here again.

Very disappointing. One person was checking in ahead of me. I had to wait over fifteen minutes! The front desk didn’t even acknowledge me or say they’d be with me. My uncle has stayed here on numerous occasions and always loved it. However, this time the rooms were much smaller.the room is supposed to fit four people. It is only comfortable enough for one person. There is also no space for clothes. We are living out of our suitcases. Bathroom lights don’t work. One tiny soap 1 inch for the bathroom for hand, shower, etc! Also, the ROBES were dirty and wrinkled! I asked for replacements and they brought more dirty and wrinkled robes. I also overheard the staff complaining about me after I was very polite, being sure to say please and thank you. It looks like the rooms were converted to create more rooms.there were not even slippers, or pen and paper to write a note to the maid! It’s all about the money, not about the guests comfort. We came down here for my uncles birthday and we’re basically staying in a shoebox. Not much help was given when we tried to upgrade. Very discouraging. Not worth the price. They didn’t even have glasses in the room for a bottle of wine I ordered. I won’t be back at this hotel. I’ve stayed at the Opal the last time I was here. I will stay at the Opal instead next time. The staff at the Opal was much friendlier and I had a better experience at the Opal.

I have stayed at the Pier House 3 times now, and do not plan on ever staying anywhere else. The service staff from the front desk, to Roman helping with luggage, Linda being SO attentive and wonderful by the beach and pool, to everyone else you encounter is stellar. As a Hospitality Industry professional myself, I admire this resort’s commitment to providing the best experience possible, in every little way that they do it. The rooms are spotless, the views are beautiful (no matter which room you have), the beach is amazing from the beach itself to the staff attending it, the pool area is gorgeous, etc. Remarkable food as well. They truly do everything the best. I will be back as soon as life allows!

The Beach Bar and Grill at the Pier House in Key West is a hidden treasure that provides an outdoor dining experience enriched by nature's beauty. Located right next to the private sandy beach, the Beach Bar and Grill is set up with comfortable outdoor seating, allowing guests to bask in the beautiful Florida weather. It’s the perfect backdrop for a laid-back lunch. When it comes to the food, one dish, in particular, stood out - the Lobster BLT. This isn't your average BLT. The sweet, succulent lobster meat, paired with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and ripe tomatoes, creates an explosion of flavors that is both familiar and unique All in all, the Beach Bar and Grill at the Pier House offers a delightful dining experience. The fantastic location, coupled with mouth-watering dishes like the Lobster BLT, make this a must-visit spot in Key West. The overall experience is highly enjoyable and definitely recommended for a leisurely lunch by the beach.

Rooms are showing age and need of renovation. AC unit was loud and barely effective despite requesting repair. Although maintenance staff responded the room remained warm. Eliminated iconic lime based soap and shampoo products. Staff friendly but not trained as well, resulting in less than stellar service experienced in past visits. The grounds remain beautiful . Hopefully, management will soon save this aging beauty and restore its beauty and service.

This place is awesome! So relaxing and chill! Great private beach and pool area with private chairs! Staff was awesome!! The snorkeling right by the beach is decent. Many large parrot fish, sting rays, and tropical fish! Walking distance to hundreds of bars and restaurants! Sunset Pier is 3 minute walk and highly recommended for sunset! We were so pleased we spent a little but more and chose this resort over the other places we searched!

Love this spot. Service is great. Rooms have been updated. Structure could use some work but overall was delightful. Especially the folks walking around the pool asking if we are good with food and drinks AND the folks that staff One Duval the breakfast attached to Pier House ♥️. Will be back for sure.

What a fantastic resort! You can't beat the location--it's just steps from everything with a private beach so you get the best of both worlds. It's peaceful and quiet despite being so close to everything, the rooms are gorgeous and large, the views are amazing, and the service is superb. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. And the food! We ate dinner at One Duval, which is super romantic with great water views, and were blown away by how delicious everything was. My grouper was huge and perfectly cooked, with a blissfully light cream sauce and pieces of lump crabmeat. The Key Lime pie was unbelievable, as was the Cuban coffee ice cream. Breakfast and lunch were equally delicious, and we loved hanging out at the casual Beach Bar. We also had an excellent couples' massage at the spa (ask for Bonnie and Cheryl!) and enjoyed soaking in the secluded Jacuzzi. And to be able to lounge by--or swim in--the ocean after a busy day of sightseeing was fabulous. Highly recommend this resort!

If your looking for a massage please please for the sake of your partner and peace of mind don't come here. The massage was the worst experience from the moment we walked in . we were rushed and ushered to our “relaxing massage”. - without a glass of “champagne as described in our itinerary “ I don't know where to begin on the amount of things i noticed during the massage that were killing my massage to the point i could not relax and could not wait for it to be over. This was not a massage what so ever. I was padded with oil that was it!!! Let this review save your peace if mind. Your welcome also not a karen just truthful.

Checked into the Pier House on 09/04/2023 and check out on 09/07. Our stay was a gift to me from my significant other for my birthday. The facility, grounds, and setting are absolutely beautiful. Our room was very nice and comfortable except the mattress and box-springs were not attached to the frame and every time you sat on the bed the mattress and box-springs tried to slide off onto the floor. We requested it be fixed but no one ever showed up. The cold water valve just spun around and was difficult to shut off. We also requested it be fixed but no one ever showed up for that either. As I said above the facility is beautiful. The beach, swimming pool and grounds are maintained superbly and are a great asset to the location. On the other hand, I was disturbed by the billing of our account. We were quoted a rate including taxes and fees and charged something else. When we asked about it they stated we would be refunded to what we were quoted. When we asked why we were charged something different, we were told it was to cover additional expenses should there have been any. But since there were not, we would be refunded. 72 hours have gone by and we have yet to be refunded. We understand the Pier House is a resort and will be very expensive. That is not our complaint. Our first morning we went to the Pier House restaurant for breakfast. We ordered eggs. Our waitress asked us what kind of toast we wanted. I selected white toast and my (SO) requested wheat toast. When we received our bill we were charged $6.00 for two orders of toast. In my opinion, that is gouging. I would return to the Pier House because it is so beautiful.

We were really looking forward to staying at this resort as we have heard great things about it. We loved the location and the staff was friendly. However, we will probably never come back because the air conditioning was extremely poor in our room. It was consistently around 77 degrees in our room. We could not sleep our first night there. Spoke to front desk and they sent a technician that said there’s nothing he can do. After spending the day in the pool and beach you expect to be able to cool off once you get to your room. There was no cooling off for us unless we stood in front of the ac unit or went to the front lobby. We asked for help with this issue again later that evening and received basically the same response. This technician said he didn’t know why the air didn’t circulate and he brought us a stand up fan. The room temperature is still 77 after running the fan they brought in for us. We are not looking forward to another uncomfortably warm night in our room and are actually glad to be checking out tomorrow. Edited to add it is now 78 degrees in the room at 10:20 pm.

We had an unfortunate stay at this resort. My wife and 3 year old seemed to bother the staff and we're not treated like we belonged there. Made our stay very uncomfortable. The rooms were nice, a bit outdated but the beds were horrible very uncomfortable. Wish we had a better experience so we could plan to come back. Unfortunately we will be planning to find another place elsewhere next time.

We had a great stay at the Pier House. The staff was super friendly and accomodating. Our ocean view room was a perfect spot to watch sunsets. The food was really good and the grounds were well kept. Thanks

We had such an incredible experience at Pier House Resort & Spa! Every staff member we encountered was so wonderful and super helpful. We dined at One Duval and the Beach Bar frequently during our stay and let me just say, everything was fresh and delicious. (I recommend the chocolate martini and key lime pie for an after dinner treat!) We really enjoyed lounging out on the private beach and watching the sailboats go by! It's also located at the end of Duval so it's just a short walk to all of the shops, bars and local activities. We definitely plan on returning soon! :)

I fell down the stairs the first day and injured my legs pretty bad. They did nothing to accommodate me. There is no elevator in the spa suite. The stairs are dangerous and outdated. I’m a size 6 shoe in woman's and door barely could fit on the steps. Which is why I fell down. Could have got really hurt. They did not care. I do not recommend waisting 3 grand to stay at this place. GO TO OCEAN KEY ITS BETTER.

Perfect location, clean rooms, and wonderful staff! This is our first time in Key West and Pier House has definitely left an impression on us. If we come back we wouldn’t think to stay anywhere else. Shout out to Jason for going above and beyond during check-in making sure our stay was even better than expected.

An incredible experience all around. We enjoyed the resort amenities fully. The spa, the private beach, the restraunt, and definitely the view. Shopping was conveniently close no matter what we were looking for and staff made this whole experience wonderful. We will only stay here if/when we return. There was no need to think of staying elsewhere. We visited August 29 to Sept 3 2022 for our Honeymoon

Amazing accommodations from room to room service. Exquisitely done, love the ambiance, the location & the service. Stayed ocean front beach side & we weren't disappointed. Pricey for some but well worth it. I recommend two friends across the street to eat at, the food is amazing & the prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent.

My grandparents and I stayed at this luxurious resort last week, and had one of the most beautiful relaxing vacations, we are considering this as a yearly stay. Exceptional and welcoming service from the staff, everyone is genuinely polite. They offer pool and beach side full service from cabana boys, to waitresses at the beach; willing to accommodate you. The pool is in a common area next to the private beach and bar, but the privacy offered by the pathway gives a tropical jungle experience with mini waterfalls, a pond with real turtles, all services are within walking distance. There is live music from noon to 3. During my stay there was an area roped off for the turtle eggs, which actually hatched!! The mural was awesome with a hidden portrait, lit by a skylight. On the private beach there is a dock in the water and a private topless area. The water was so clear, I could see my feet no matter how deep you go. The food from a full restaurant is always excellent, large portions and a vast menu. Overall you feel like you’re in a secluded area, yet Duval street is just around the corner. Also, I enjoyed watching the sunset from the pier house private beach over mallory square, it was so intimate and peaceful. This was unlike any experience i’ve ever had. They are also pet friendly! Absolutely beautiful environment.

Look no further. This is THE place for a no-fuss, beautiful, accessible to literally everything, clean and well maintained, incredibly staffed beach vacation. Beaches are hard to come by in Key West. We were originally booked for the Casa Marina (highly rated by critics) and after checking in, decided to leave immediately and booked this place very last minute. It completely turned our vacation around. Highly recommend the Pier House. Breakfast is amazing, beach staff/restaurant during the day is perfect and easy. Right in the backyard of Mallory Square. We would definitely stay here again.

I belong to a group who meets here twice a year. I've also stayed at other resorts on the island. The location is perfect if you want to be close to all the action. And the rooms are clean and spacious. I think the best part is the care and continuity of staff. They remember and welcome us back every time! And they really go out of their way to make sure the stay is enjoyable and memorable.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here! We had some complications with our reservation, but the manager was wonderful and resolved the issue quickly. Rooms were nice and we could hear the beautiful music on our patio. We also enjoyed the beach and pool and thought the breakfast was really good! Also, liked how they refreshed the towels and room everyday. Only thing is I wish they had a microwave in the room, but other than that, we had a great stay!

The Pier House has a beautiful beach and pool area. The beach bar is a convenient to get food and drinks and they have wait staff constantly in the pool and beach areas. The conference room is nice for business meetings. Staff is more than accommodating, friendly and helpful. Many staff members have been there for years. The location is within a block of the nightlife on Duval yet is far enough away that there is no noise from Duval. Overall, the property is beautiful, has that Key West vibe. The staff is fantastic. Everyone says "hello" when you see them, even the maintenance staff !

We weren’t sure what to expect but this hotel was amazing! We decided to do our first family trip with our 1 year old to Key West since we’ve never been. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect! Right on the main road close to many restaurants/bars. The beach was really relaxing and the grounds felt like a little jungle. Our son loved the little turtle pond. They have both a beach bar during the day and a cute little dive bar at night that we would’ve loved to hang in if the baby didn’t go to sleep at 7:30pm. I would highly recommend.
