Hi, usually I have a great time but this time I didn't. I would give one start but giving 2 due to the personnel in the front desk. I made a reservation for 2 room with queen beds and arrived at the hotel they told me they gave my rooms away and were trying to give a smaller room. Which makes the arrival a little frustrating. The concierge at the moment was very nice and helpful and gave me a room. She didn't know the conditions of the room. The room was very dirty, the sofa bed was dirty, stains all over, broken, and stinks. The bathroom sink and the phone didn't work. Carpet super dirty stinks and stains all over.

Fantastic experience! I booked this resort for my folks and they are still talking about how much they loved staying here. The staff is fantastic, parking is included, and free breakfast. There was a door from their room to the pool. They loved it! I highly recommend this place and plan to take a trip myself to experience this resort.

This place is definitely a nicer one judging from the outside amongst other Marriott chains in the area. The breakfast was good 6:30-10 am on weekdays in the lobby. There are prepackaged and heated egg sausage cheese sandwiches in very good size. Super easy to grab and go. There is a pool too. Not too big The room is a bit too humid, given they are only on the first or second floors. They do have elevators for accessibility. Rooms are a good size. One living room and one bedroom together without kitchen.

We are a loyal Marriott customers. Zero star for management. Room rates do not match the service. Had to call 3 times to get towels. Front desk kept saying they will deliver stuff but they didn’t . Hopefully someone will read this and correct this place. Not staying again here. I would say look for other Marriott places in Keywest. Breakfast is a joke. Very lazy staff

Hit and miss hotel which could be improved so much with a tiny effort. Room is nicely furnished but the setup is one of a motel with cars coming and going in front of the door. One toaster in the morning breakfast for the entire hotel, which meant big queues to toast anything or give up all together, which I did. Moreover the toaster works only on one side, being for bagels, so it doesn't really work for bread slices. The people working at the breakfast area was so unfriendly and, honestly, train all your stuff to smile once in a while. It was a funeral. Nice pool but it should be cleaned more regularly. Iguanas are lovely but they don't use the regular toilet ;)

Had another wonderful stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. All level of staff is always so welcoming. From walking through the front door to anybody we pass in the halls. Smiles all around. And these days, smiles are so important! We can see them through a mask. Andrea at check in was extremely helpful and accommodating. The front desk agents are very knowledgeable and a ray of sunshine. The pool is very welcoming and so relaxing on a warm day. The rooms are just right and well appointed for any stays with microwave and Fridge. Lots of room to do some unpacking if needed. Hope to visit again.

Extremely quiet hotel. The rooms were nicely stocked and clean. The location is just as you enter into Key West. It's a short drive to all of the major streets in Key West. The hotel is set up in different buildings, so you have to drive over to the building that you are staying in. The hotel seemed safe and quiet.

Overall is not that bad. But service is important. And I have a lot of questions to their service. Bartender by the pool don’t know how to talk to guests. Her behaviour is really rude and nasty. You should teach her how to work in service. People coming on vacation. And guests want to enjoy their vacation. And it is really hard to enjoy staying when the partender by the pool is so rude. There are no guests by the pool - definitely because of your bartender.

We booked this hotel through a third party company for a decent price. We arrived at our hotel and found that one of our nights was not booked/paid for whatever reason. We were there with our luggage for a long time going back and forth with the third party company. There was a gentleman at the front desk who was helping us through the process and was patient with it. After some time, he was nice enough to let us go into the room, even though our issue was not yet resolved. I did not catch his name but he was the only nice staff member we encountered at front desk. Everyone else there was very rude with big attitudes and seemed like they didn't want to be asked any questions nor help you at all. As far as the rooms go, they had a slight smell to them, the carpet was very worn out, and the rooms were VERY DIM. I could not even open the curtain because right outside your window is the hallway where people are walking periodically from and to their rooms. Moving on, the bathroom had small black bugs running around the sink area and it seemed like little care was taken in stocking the room with complimentary bathroom lotions and soaps. The bed was pretty comfy...until we realized that it had bed bugs in it. We came back home itchy and with bite marks afraid that we may have brought them with us. We immediately did laundry to make sure we killed anything that came. The hotel is affordable, but risking to have a bed bug infestation in your home may not be worth it. The free breakfast sucked! You're better off eating out if you have time. Breakfast could definitely use improvement. Another thing that needs improvement is the shuttle service. It's more like first some first serve, so make sure you get a ticket from the front desk the day before you need to use the service. It would be nice if they had a tracking system because some drivers will not wait even a minute at the stop. Me and my husband were just barely one minute late to the pickup location near the Historic Seaport and the driver had already left so we had to wait about an hour for the next shuttle to arrive. The best part about the hotel was the free slushy machines and the comfortable lobby area. The slushies were really good and gave the perfect island vibe when chilling in the lobby at night.

Fair location but 1 bedroom “suite” was expensive, small and poorly laid out. Backed up to alley and on busy highway so it was noisy. Free parking was nice, though. Pirates alive and well here. Worthless “destination fee” include a “beverage coupon” which is actually a buy one and get one coupon for their bar! Not even a free drink without purchase! Other hotel (courtyard) nearby had no such fee so will be more careful next time down.

Comfortable and clean room. The sliding barn bathroom door was a bit weird. I loved all the iguanas by the pool and the chickens. However, we ate our breakfast (which was included and tasty) on the patio the first two mornings of our stay. By the third and final morning we had to move inside because of the mess that the chickens had made that no one had bothered to spray down. While eating with the birds was a unique experience, uncleared mess eventually became disgusting and unsanitary. I even noticed some cups on a table that no one cleaned away for 2 days. The only other issue I encountered was with the shuttle to downtown that is “included “ for the $25.00 daily fee. We were required to make reservations but I observed 3 different times when someone with a reservation was told they couldn’t board at their reserved time because the bus was full. This is unacceptable for a service that guests pay for and fill the reservation procedure established by the hotel. Many guests make reservations for other events and excursions in town and expect to be picked up and delivered at the time they reserve. Lastly, the slushy machines are awesome and helped to make the other shortcomings all better. I would stay here again.

Great front desk service. The shuttle to downtown in convenient, as long as you don't miss the last one. The pool is a fun set up. The bar tender at the pool was great. The rooms were a bit dated, but a bit larger and worked well with 4 adult women in one room.

Pros - Breakfast was really good with various options ,. Especially egg bites and egg, sausage sandwich. Good pool and bar area. Cons - rooms are not spacious . Bathrooms have a sliding door with wash basin , commode and tub all inside , which doesn't make sense and not a good idea as we can't use washbasin when someone is using bathroom . Bathroom should have a normal door with wash basin outside and rooms can be Little more spacious . Not up to the mark of Marriott . Staff are hit / miss . They are rude , not responsive and act as if they own the property instead of answering properly.

It served its purpose for a good night sleep. The room was clean but dated. The king bed was comfortable. The shower water was hot but not forceful. As platinum members, we were upgraded to a suite. It was roomy. The pool area was nice and the bartender made good drinks . Didn’t have breakfast and never saw what was offered. We had a late checkout. 3 times housekeeping knocked and each time we informed them. It was so annoying that we packed up, left the room and chilled out by the pool.

Well the hotel may actually not be a 5 star property, but the comfort and service made me give all 5-stars to them. We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay there. Location was awesome and service was too good too. he lady on the reception(i forgot her name) is actually the best fit to be on the front desk as she went out of her way to make things comfortable for us. She is very polite and fast in her work. Breakfast is a decent one and the rooms had all the basic amenities to make the guests feel comfortable.

Staff is great, pool area and lobby is very nice, the shuttle to the fun side of the island is a real plus. Unfortunately, the rooms are old, moldy and super uncomfortable. We stayed there two nights and got very little sleep. The mattresses were old and cheap. You could feel every rusty spring on your back or side. The couch was unusable. The carpet was old and dirty. This is more like a Motel 6 that is overdue for a remodel than a Marriott Hotel. We left sore and exhausted. This property is a major Marriott embarrassment. I DO NOT RECCOMEND STAYING AT THIS PROPERTY. On the upside the chickens running around the property were entertaining.

Nice and quiet stay. Room was clean and comfy. Hotel surroundings looked well kept and neat. Joseph at the front desk was extremely helpful with the check in process and our stay wouldn't have been the same without his assistance!

We made our reservation 6 months ago. We received 2 phone calls today from staff verifying that we would be arriving. We arrived, were given keys and a room number. Got everything out of our car, walked into the room and someone else’s belongings were inside, lights and tv were on. My husband went back to front desk, they say they don’t have any more rooms and make arrangements for us to stay somewhere else down the road. I have never experienced anything like this before with a Marriott property. If I were Marriott I would remove this property from their property list.

Worst hotel experience ever! First when we arrived we were told the original room we wanted was not available. Wanted a king size bed, they didn’t have one. Then we were told there’s a $25/day fee for “destination fee”?!?! On the Bonvoy app, the quote given included all fees and taxes. It also didn’t state that there will not be housekeeping service everyday. We go into the room, we can clearly see the room was not thoroughly cleaned. The floor was dirty and the shower glass was dirty too. My wife wiped down the essential surfaces with a sani-wipe we carry for traveling. There’s a shuttle that goes into Old Town every hour, but you have to get a ticket at the front desk. So we get one and upon getting on the shuttle, it was full and had to take the next one(1 hour later). We had to take an Uber to make our reservation for boat trip. The breakfast is a disgrace, I’ll leave it at that. Staff in general is is of equal caliber of the hotel, mismanaged and uncaring. Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years this was one of the worst experiences I’ve encountered. I’ve taken the survey given at the end of our trip and voiced my dismay, and received what I expected from the GM, a cookie cutter, copied and pasted letter of apology. Never again!

I was a little scared to come here after reading some of the other negative reviews, but I have to say, my experience here was excellent. Our room was clean (no horrible smells, dirty carpet, or bedbugs), all the staff were really nice, the location was quiet, and the breakfast was excellent. Resort fee is ehhh, but you kinda gotta expect that if you're traveling to a place like Key West. Don't be scared off by other reviews — this place is nice! Also, if you're complaining about roosters and iguanas... why are you in Key West?

Nice hotel over all. Price was reasonable, but you are far from downtown. All but 1 of the front desk people were very nice. For what you get the 'destination fee' is a rip-off. The shuttle to downtown is chaotic. On one trip back we had to wait at bus stop downtown for second pick up, but we lined up before others that got on the shuttle.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, didn’t seem outdated to us. No smelly carpet like earlier reviews mention. The pool was great for the kids and the front desk staff was great to us. Many of the people complaining about things in reviews don’t seem to have read any of the details found online or in the emails sent. Yes, there are extra fees and you’re not close to downtown but none of those were a surprise to us. It was the most affordable place we could find in this area and it was fine. They had a hard time keeping up in the breakfast area.

Absolute wonderful stay at this hotel. Room was clean, bed very comfortable, front desk staff friendly, bar at the pool was a very nice addition and MJ the bartender was excellent! We will definitely be back!

This place was great! Wonderful service and the pool felt like a magical tropical oasis. I loved it so much I extended my trip an extra day to stay here. The hotel shuttle ride is only 10 minutes from downtown. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a month during a deployment, was a great experience. The hotel has a shuttle to near Duval Street that is free there and back, running on the half hour. Laundry is coin operated on site, with two washers and two dryers. Pool is spacious with a poolside bar. Would recommend for a reasonably priced stay in Key West

Theresa, Ophelia, Dwight, and Kristina are wonderful at the front desk. Alexander, Levan, Davit, and Konstantine are great bartenders and always make my stay memorable. The rooms are clean and big and the location with the downtown shuttle is ideal. Will always come back here to stay when in town.

This Marriott facility wasn't up to the standards that Marriot states that they have. The room was spacious, the location was good, the bus to old Town was nice, and the employees at the counter were very accommodating and understanding. With that said, for being a Marriott and the cost for the room was north of $500 a night, the room was not ready for people to stay in. The bathroom had black mold on the mirror corners, the shower stall corners, and on the tile floor. The shelf in the shower stall was broken and barely hanging on, the door to the bathroom was broken and splintered. There were also some stains on the carpet and the couch we weren't sure where they came from. The walls had tape or other things stuck to them, we didn't touch it and weren't sure what was going on with that. The breakfast included pretty much didn't exist. We were there for a little over half an hour and the coffee was empty almost the whole time and when they brought out new coffee it was immediately emptied. The prepackaged waffles were still frozen and there was no toaster. The burritos, when they brought them out, were prepackaged, warm on the outside and frozen on the inside. It looked like there was only 1 employee working in the breakfast area and for a busy Monday morning, was very overworked. The only reason for 2 stars was the staff working at facility. They were very happy, accommodating, knowledgeable and understanding.

Stayed in a suite with my wife and two teenage children. Shuttle to downtown was nice, bike rentals and hotel grounds were also nice. Road noise was drowned out by the ac. Liked the pool and bar. Our suite had an adjoining room with an unrelated family. We could hear the folks through the doors to the adjoining room like they were in our room. Ask for a room without an adjoining room if you do not need it.

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. They compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you won't be let down. Much better than we expected because we chose it for its low price! Spotless King room, quiet, recently renovated and great stony AC. The property is beautiful with lush landscaping everywhere and artistic designed seating areas placed outside amidst the plantings. Cool pool bar and nice pool area. The free breakfast and pool bar drink coupons were a nice surprise!

I had a nice stay. The 5 stars comes from the staff. The concierge was extremely helpful and the staff that checked us in was nice. We got a free drink ticket for the bar and had a great warm breakfast. The room was huge and everything seemed clean. The only downside was the doors are all outside, set up kinda like a motel and you have to use a map to navigate to your room because of how large the place is.

We made our last minute reservations about 45 min from Key West. We found this to be quite affordable. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. The pool and surrounding area was beautiful! The grounds were very nicely done… One thing to know about Key West is that there are LOTS of chickens and there was no exception here. They even leave earplugs and a funny info card letting you know on your bedside table 😊 We did not see or hear them when we arrived @ 5pm, but we did start to see them about 7am. They do have a complimentary breakfast, nothing fancy…but they do have a wonderful slushy machine! All you can drink strawberry and lime 😋 The staff was friendly and helpful and were glad to give us all the extras we needed (towels/soap/shampoo). For those of you looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Key West, our family of 4 would say this would be a great choice!

Room was clean as is expected from Marriott. Check-in was done with great attitude and in short time. We even received complimentary bottled water at the front desk.... to find out that it wasn't really complimentary. You are charged a "Destination Fee" of $24.99 + tax per day, which covers parking, "free" shuttle service to downtown that runs every hour (which we never used), "free" bottled water, and who knows what other "free" items/services. I was told about the parking fee at check-in but the rest, my credit card found out before me. I think that Marriott makes enough money to be able to drop that fee, I'd be fine with being charged for parking. I like Marriott, but I'm in doubt that we'll be staying there again.

My husband and I had a great stay at this hotel! While the accommodations are pretty no frills, they are doable for a stay in Key West. We had a comfortable night's sleep every night and really enjoyed being in a low key part of the island, away from all the nightlife, restaurants, and retail, which can get pretty busy and noisy. If you are the kind of person that is out all day when on vacation and not keen on staying in the room, this hotel will work great for you. Lastly, William and Dwight took very good care of my husband and me when we checked in! Thank you for everything!
