We
have
stayed
at
the
Hotel
Marquesa
4
times.
This
time
we
even
referred
a
friend
to
stay
along
with
us.
The
last
time
we
stayed
,
which
was
right
before
COVID,
we
felt
misled
by
the
room
pictures
on
the
website
versus
the
room
we
were
given.
Nothing
was
done
even
though
our
room
didn’t
look
like
the
pictures.
We
powered
through
and
made
the
best
of
it.
This
time
our
party
of
4
,
two
separate
rooms,
with
6
night
reservations
had
to
leave
one
night
early
due
to
extreme
weather
that
was
forecast
at
home.
I
get
it
that
a
smaller
boutique
hotel
is
impacted
by
such
a
change.
However
I
also
felt
a
returning
loyal
guest
might
be
shown
some
consideration.
We
certainly
didn’t
want
to
leave
early
but
weather
precipitated
it.
Loyalty,
including
regularly
dining
in
the
Cafe
Marquesa,
meant
nothing
and
we
all
lost
1
night
of
room
costs.
The
indifference
was
most
troubling.
A
one
night
refund
or
even
one
night
credit
seemed
like
a
way
to
keep
a
loyal
customer
but
it
seems
our
regular
trips
to
Key
West
will
now
find
us
staying
elsewhere.
