My hubby and I stayed at Ocean’s Edge the weekend before Memorial Day. Nice resort and rooms were very spacious. There is an hourly shuttle to downtown which is great; the only issue is we were within walking distance of the shuttle on our way back to the hotel arrived at the stop and he pulled off! At least wait 5 min or so as there may be stragglers!!! one of the drivers did wait on our way to downtown and he was a great guy wish I would have gotten his name. The other issue we had with the resort is the location of the ice machines! It took us half an hour to find the ice machine after calling the front desk. The location of the ice machine is only on the first floor and it’s located in the very corner at the end of each side of the building on the first floor. There were no directional signs or anything, it looked as if you were going to another room and we happened to stumble upon it. A very small picture of a glass of ice on the wall was all there was to show the location. When we spoke to the front desk associate who was very arrogant he seemed to not care and said we should have called room service. This place could use some more customer service training especially the front desk associates! Your guests are paying your salary so please be more pleasant and understanding!

It almost seems like this hotel has no management, all employees look like they hate their lives and don’t want to be there. The vibe was off, their food tasted below average but priced very high, pools are always dirty - we didn’t even want to use them, there was a film of dirt on the surface. The location is pretty, but it smells horribly because of the harbour, I guess this is not something that can be fixed - but if you’re considering getting a room here beware, it smells absolutely disgusting there. The facility itself is new, rooms are modern and well designed, shower is great. Housekeeping came at 9:30-10am and after we said that we’re not ready they never came back. Anyways, we will never stay here again because it was extremely expensive plus the resort fees for something that is hard to call a resort.

We arrived mid-afternoon and I was worried we wouldn't be able to do an early check-in. However, the woman who checked us in was super nice and helpful and got us in our room right away. Minor complaints about the room: no telephone and the latch on the sliding door was broke. Our balcony was not covered so we couldn't sit outside when it was raining unfortunately. Our room was suppose to be ocean view however, it was more like palm tree view...could not see any water when we looked out. Feel like we did not get our money's worth for that. The shuttle driver, Kevin, was awesome and provided a lot of info about Key West. We only used the shuttle a couple of times since it only drops you off at one spot. We were told we could ask to be dropped off at other areas but not guaranteed. The 6 pools were nice and clean and the temperature was perfect. My husband and I do not drink alcohol and I had asked the pool waitress if I could get a smoothie..she said no, thats only for breakfast. That was annoying. Our biggest letdown was being woken up at 1:40am by an extremely loud fire alarm..I can't even put into words how loud it was. We were told it was a false alarm and someone said they lit a candle..however, we saw several people smoking cigarettes so it was most likely that. This resort is suppose to be smoke free so it was frustrating that it wasn't enforced. I was hoping we would receive some compensation for the disruption but to no surprise..we haven't. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and every staff we encountered was friendly and helpful.

We visited this resort for our 1 yr Anniversary and it was nothing short of amazing and relaxing. The suite was clean and well stocked, The food was really good, but better if you're visiting the restaurant itself, the waitress we had a few times seemed very tired and a bit overworked but she did her best! The staff were amazing and very accommodating. People complained about the area that it’s located in, but I thought it was very rich with culture and beautiful. The view from our suite was nice, more boats than id prefer to see, but still very nice. We’ll definitely visit again.

We had an excellent time! 2 queen suite with pull out sofa bed overlooking 1 of the 6 pools and the marina! Staff was excellent! Ivan at check-in was friendly and answered all our questions. Every morning we would visit the coffee bar and chat with Katrina(not sure how to spell). Heather at the tiki hut was so patient with us taking out the free kayaks and the paddle boards. Jeffrey was an absolute blast as he took us in and out of downtown Key West on the shuttle every night! We got to ride on the shuttle with Kevin one night also and he was so friendly and knowledgeable, Wendy in housekeeping was so nice and gave us all stuff we asked for. We absolutely will be recommending and booking again! ❤️

Three stars because although me and my family stayed here to have access to our boat in the marina we really wish that we would’ve had a better experience on the hotel side. 1. We stayed here for three days and the pools were always dirty, day and night. 2. The water pressure in the shower is extremely light and the water is only hot. Which doesn’t help if you’re trying to cool down and feel refreshed after a long day in the sun. The last thing I want to note is the server we had at the restaurant was extremely rude to us. We encountered her several times during our stay and she was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional.

Stayed here for a wedding anniversary. So many wonderful things about this resort. They offer several amenities including kayaking tours, paddle boats, bicycles etc. There are 6 beautifully lit pools that provide a great ambience for relaxation. The restaurant was wonderful. The staff was excellent. Our kayak tour guide Anela was so encouraging. She is a great instructor! The location is a 20 min drive from key west, but the hourly shuttle made the trip into town a breeze. I truly enjoyed Jeff the shuttle driver, such a kind and helpful man. Kevin also was looking for ways to assist with our transportation needs. We had a small issue with our room and the front desk resolved it without any issues. House keeping kept the rooms Tidy. No complaints. I would definitely come here again!

The room was beautiful, and the location was so quiet. It was nice to have a restaurant nearby and on-site activities. The food and staff were also incredible! Would recommend if you want to be away from Duvall street and downtown and would like a more chill time. The complimentary shuttle was also nice for an early in the day visit to downtown.

We absolutely loved our stay at Oceans Edge. It was the perfect place for our first trip to Key West. While it is not in the heart of the action, it is only a short shuttle ride away (15-20 minutes). The shuttle runs every hour from the resort and comes back 25 minutes after the hour (last shuttle is 11:25pm). Jeffrey the shuttle driver was wonderful and always had an interesting story to tell. The staff here were great and so accommodating. The grounds and rooms are beautiful. You really can’t go wrong staying here and we would not hesitate to make this our go to spot for future trips.

Well-kept and appointed property. The entry is welcoming but none of the 3 staff checking guests in dawned a single smile or were personable at all. Our room keys didn't work, we were far from the registration building so called... 15 mins later staff came stating we had to get new keys but never offered a ride back to do so on the golf cart; distastful. Decor is nautical chic. Plenty of pools with activities/games such as ping pong, 2ft chess pieces, corn hole, connect 4, etc. There are plenty of day beds with canopy coverings, loungers, umbrellas, hammocks and chilled water available. There are plenty of towels. Fire pits are available but always occupied. The marina in the background is nice. Kayaking is available along with free shuttle transportation to town. Food options are minimal insight but good and delivery or close by eating and drinking establishments. Hotel is kid and dog friendly. We'd stay again.

I recently had a girls trip with two other friends and we stayed at Oceans Edge. From the moment we walked into the resort lobby, Lee was an absolute pleasure! The way she greeted us was as if she knew us for years! She went over all of the amenities on the property. She made sure that we were comfortable with our location. Lee made such a great impression on us, we literally visited her every day to see her! Oceans Edge is so lucky to have her! I would give her 10 stars if I could!

We spent a few days here and it was wonderful. Everyone was very nice, the resort was so well taken care of and you can’t beat the views. The shuttle to downtown was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

We decided to stay here to be away from the center of Key West and it was a very delightful experience! This was close enough to what you wanted but far enough to give you a true relaxing experience. The room was beautiful looking over the marina, everything was so comfortable and clean. Lee at the front desk was extremely welcoming and made a great first impression of the property. We also got to meet Haley doing some educational stuff about sea creatures and she gave us great recommendations for what to do in the area and surrounding keys. We also had great service from April at the hotel restaurant who hauled us drinks and food at the pool despite it suddenly down pouring. All in all we feel like we got a “locals” experience and got to truly relax and enjoy this town. We will absolutely be staying here again one day!

Great place! The staff are very friendly and informative. Runs shuttle service to keywest every hour, which was helpful. studio rooms are large, so you don't feel like a staying in a compact motel rooms.

Absolutely not worth the money. The location is in the middle of nowhere, literally surrounded by a massive trailer park, and not within walkable distance of anything. It is a 20min drive to get to Key West downtown. The sheets on our bed had a stain and multiple rips in them. The "Oceanview" rooms look out onto the marina, which is packed full of boats and further away, a power plant or factory of some kind. Very little view of the ocean to be had. Nothing particularly wrong with the service, but it wasn't welcoming or friendly by any means. When paying as much as it costs to stay here, one should expect at least some friendly service. When we needed to ask to get the room cleaned it took multiple calls to get the front desk to pick up. The worst part is the resort fee when this is in no way is this a resort. All they have are 6 identical pools situated in front of each building and one singular restaurant. Very little to explore on this "resort" and if there were other things that we missed they definitely weren't explained to us (see the service comment above). To tack on a resort fee after the fact is completely unreasonable given the lack of an actual resort. The parking fee is justified however given that it is gated with a guard and that there was ample parking near our room. However it would have been nice to have included parking given how much the rate is.

We were in search of a luxury family resort in Key West and after a lot of research we decided to stay at Oceans Edge Resort. It has a lot to offer on premise and is a wonderful resort for those traveling with kids in Key West. It is away from the hustle of downtown but there is a shuttle service provided that is very convenient for families. The rooms very very clean an the grounds are impeccable. Nice to have several pools on site as well and the marina was a great attraction with the fish, manatees and other wildlife right outside your door. Restaurant and cafe were great as well! Highly recommended this resort for families traveling to Key West!

Beautiful resort. Best bang for your buck. Very convenient shuttle service with informative information about key west for free. Resort fees are worth it because you can rent paddleboards and kayaks for free for 2 hours per day. Highly recommend.

If I could give 0 stars I would, this “resort” was completely not what I expected or advertised. To start off, you have a TRAILER PARK coming into the hotel. The security guard just lets ANYBODY come in, doesn’t check if you have a reservation or anything. Secondly, I paid so much to stay here to celebrate my birthday & baby moon but never again will come back. When I booked my stay, I booked to have a marina view & I got swamp views. The AC did not work correctly where the fan speed is locked. The carpets had stains & the overall vibes were off with very out to date music playing in random areas of the hotel & roosters blocking your way of driving. As I said I booked to stay 3-4 days and ended up leaving the next day only because we drove from Orlando & it was too late at night to leave. To make it even worse it’s like this place knows that what you see is not what expected so they have a nonrefundable policy which is insane for a place that costs so much & delivers the minimum. Lastly, this part which has nothing to do with the resort is there is nothing to do around the area it is completely desolate & run down with not very much entertainment. Overall avoid this place like the plague & shame on Oceans Edge Resort for STEALING my very hard earned money on my birthday, I will not be recommending this place to anyone in fact when possible I will deter people from coming here so they don’t have to experience the waste of time, waste of money & sheer disappointment that I have felt.

This resort is a hidden gem. Everything and everyone was so nice. Room was ultra spacious. Bed was incredible. Views were outstanding. Couldn't give a better review! If I were to say one thing though, its the air conditioning. I couldn't adjust the temperature. It was set at 75. I don't know if you can change it. But all in all 5 stars without hesitation. This will be my accommodations when I'm in key west from now on!

Lovely room and balcony for a perfect view. Plenty of pools, so you can be social and have fun with the DJ on site, or relax at a quieter pool. Great activities like kayaking, bike riding, jet skis, and even a cigar bar with rum tasting.

Beautiful place a must do for our family every year. Warm welcoming good service and beautiful sunny rooms. Warm pools. The water sports people are always super sweet and helpful with our children. I would recommend everyone spend their key west vacation here. It’s a wonderful spot out of the noise of downtown key west yet still close enough to enjoy the everything.

This resort is my favorite place to stay in the lower keys. Every time I stay here, the entire operation is a 5 star experience. My group had a wonderful time. We usually arrive by boat and stay for a weekend. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and very nice. The marina staff is always accommodating and the marina is a top notch facility. The food and drinks are phenomenal. We will keep coming back!

After staying at the Perry Marina Hotel where our experience was not good. We decided to give Ocean edge a chance, from beginning to end we were not let down. The front desk agent Sandy was very friendly and helpful making the check-in experience a good one. The room was nice and clean. Beds and pillow comfortable. Pool had good activities for families. My only suggestion is having music playing in the pool. Other than that. We loved our stayed and will be coming back.

Excellent resort - Beautiful location, nice and clean pools and all the staff were amazing. The Tuna Poke bowl was perfect for lunch poolside. The dining area is nice with the open walls to the outside (great atmosphere). The rooms are bright and cheery and clean. The staff will do anything to ensure your needs are met and go above and beyond to take care of any issues or concerns you may experience. Will be back again ! Highly Recommend!

!!GROUP BOOKINGS!! - FIVE STARS FOR RESORT - ONE STAR FOR GROUP BOOKINGS – I would rate the quality of the rooms, value, amenities, restaurant, bar, and staff for Ocean’s Edge at 5 stars, hands down. However, we had a less-than-stellar experience in trying to book a block of rooms for a moderately-sized group. We initially worked with Alicia, the conference services manager, to try to book a block of rooms. After talking with her on the phone, we did not receive any follow-up. We waited one week before reaching back out and she stated that she “forgot” and would send us the information right away. After another week of waiting without any follow-up (so now two weeks from our initial contact), we simply booked individual rooms for the entire group ourselves. We never received any follow-up regarding our initial request to book a block of rooms. Later, in talking with others at the hotel front desk, it sounds like the rate that we got by booking rooms individually was probably better than the group rate anyways. Despite our negative experience with trying to book a block of rooms in the beginning, overall, we had an exceptional stay and wanted to thank two individuals in particular – Claudia, the front office manager, and Thea who worked at the front desk, both of whom went above and beyond for us and our guests. We really couldn’t thank them enough for making this such a great stay for everyone. We did see other reviews mentioning issues with air conditioning. Our room did have some issues, although there were HVAC professionals working on the unit during our stay, however none of our guests had any issues with their rooms, so this may be something that was in the process of being repaired across the resort. Overall, we had a fantastic time and look forward to saying here in the future.

Oceans Edge was the perfect location to celebrate and make special memories with our family! From the time we arrived, we were treated like royalty! The ocean view from the king suite was amazing, and Stephanie, Ivan, Riana, Kaye, and Brian were professional and polite! We're thankful for Abigail making our room clean and cozy! Heather welcomed us to a sand art activity to help keep us busy at the resort, while Jeffrey provided fast and reliable shuttle service with a smile! If I could give 10 stars I would because our entire experience was phenomenal! We appreciate all the staff and hope to visit again!

My husband took me here for my birthday weekend. We came here in September and we had a great time. Room was very spacious and clean. I love the view from our room especially the sunset 🌅. Food was delicious 🤤.. we had great experiences at the restaurant. Coffee wasn’t as good as I would have preferred. Staff was friendly and helpful. The tiki hut 🛖 staff were the best. We had a great experience with them. Patrick the guy with the golf cart was helpful to us. He showed us around on his cart when we first arrived.

I first discovered this gem of a hotel 2 years ago .. it’s tucked away in stock island. The rooms are outstanding although the paired balconies are too close to each other with little privacy between them — a design issue that can’t be altered now. My only complaint, it seems like a minor one but it’s not, is that 4 of the 5 green underwater lights in the marina fairway are now non functioning. It really affects the nighttime ambiance of the place and I wish the mangers/owners could see that

My wife and I came for a week for our honeymoon, the resort is beautiful. The jet ski’s and kayaking was super fun! We enjoyed the free shuttle downtown every hour, we absolutely loved Kevin and Jeffrey, they make conversation and tell you history about the island, it’s like we’ve known them for years. Two very great people Ocean’s Edge is lucky to have them! Enjoyed our time & can’t wait to return soon! Eric & Ashley!

A magical stay!!! My suite was so beautiful and modern. The pools on the site were big and not too crowded. Breakfast was included in with my package and it was good breakfast not your typical eggs and ham! I can’t wait to be back this resort is definitely an upscale place!
