Truly, an oasis smack dab in the middle of pandemonium! This will definitely be one of the best values you have ever encountered when visiting a tourist infested habitat. I have been a Key West fan for over forty years and, lately, I felt the island has lost its luster, caving in to the demands of corporate America. Then I found this place. Key West Harbor Inn is a place to retreat to - like an island within an island. Step outside the privacy gates and you'll see what I mean. You are literally in the middle of all what Key West offers - a short walk to Mallory Square for the sunset or, in the opposite direction, Half Shell Raw Bar for a sunset dinner. Fishing, dining, drinking - it's all around you. That's not the best part, however. The best part is when you step back into the privacy gates and you are welcomed by lush, tropical landscaping (and some friendly, furry mascots) as you walk along the trail to your oversized and VERY cool (in more ways than one) room. Old-school Key West vibe with century old buildings displaying island architecture. The pool area is quaint and is usually occupied (not by kids - I love kids but not the SCREAMING kind), the water is clean and there is plenty of sunlight. The rooms are always spotless and are equipped with a King sized bed, refrigerator, ceiling fan, separate bath/shower and plenty of natural light. LOTS of Charm here. The staff is fantastic offering round the clock service, happy hour at the pool and a stocked complimentary breakfast. Parking is on the street and cars are always coming and going so, if you don't initially find a spot, wait five minutes and you'll get one. I must say, when my visit was over, I was truly sad that I had to leave. I will make it a point to return to this gem of a place as often as I can. Forget those soulless, stale, over commercialized chain hotels, choose this place as your getaway and live like the locals. You'll be glad you did!

Everything was awesome, dave was really spectacular. He called me before I arrived to see if I needed anything / confirm I was coming. Greeted me at my arrival and offered a happy hour beverage. The room was very cool, the pool very nice, the mini breakfast set up really hit the spot. 5 stars for me !

This was our first time in Key West. This bed and breakfast did not disappoint. It is located very close to Duval St and many restaurants, attractions, and marina. There are several room categories and we stayed in a basic room. Its adults only so there will not be kids there. It had a comfortable queen bed and a nice shower. There is also a small fridge in the room. Our room was upstairs. There not a lot of stairs, but if you have a problem with stairs, request a bottom floor. The room was very quiet and we did not hear any other guests. It does, however have a small dehumidifier running in the room to keep the dampness out. I was able to empty the tank easily since it filled containtly. The staff was excellent and made sure we were enjoying our stay. They have a basic breakfast that consisted of cereal, hard boiled eggs, bagels, fruit, and yogurt. They also had a happy hour included. It included several non alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, vodka, and rum. It was nice to sit around the pool and have a beverage or two. There are bikes to rent on the property to use to explore the town. Free parking is in the area, just look around. You won't need your car during your stay. You can choose to have your room serviced everyday or just put towels by door and they will replenish.

We stayed in the Puerto Rico room. I would love to leave 5 stars as the staff was very friendly and the location was excellent. The complimentary happy hour was nice and the room had nothing but charm with a great balcony view. It was also EXTREMELY CLEAN which we appreciated and is of course very important to us. Unfortunately it seems with the age of the building, some renovations need to occur because the mold/mildew smell that we experienced in the room was a killer. We woke up the next day congested with terrible headaches after breathing it in all night. The de-humidifier in the room stopped working late in the night as it was full of water. I understand there is nothing they can do about the humidity of the area of course, but I hope they can do some remediation to their place for the health of the patrons. I did let the woman in the office know about the smell.. If they can get that squared away I would love to return.

Don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else while on Key West. The location is absolutely perfect, steps away from the Historic Seaport area. But still in the heart of old Town. Two minute walk to Duval St. The rooms are bright and spacious not to mention spotless. The managers Kristen and Tracy do a great job in making everyone feel welcome especially during the complimentary Happy Hour. The pool and the general pool area is incredibly quiet and relaxing. A true hidden oasis in the heart of Key West.

A really cozy and affordable place. Imediately in the middle of the harbour and all the good places to eat, drink and visit. Great pool to cool down in. Complimentary happy hour in the afternoon. The best place we could ever have picked in Key West. You better put in reservations ahead of tine as it gets full pretty quick.

Recommended. Really great location, people, and clean room. Right by the marina, water, a lot of charter companies, within walking distance of things to do, and even the Mallory square area. Hemingway distillery right around corner. Very cozy and private. Breakfast in the morning, evening reception with free drinks, owner is involved and nice. Really laid back and comfortable.

Harbor Inn is a tropical paradise. We will never stay anywhere else. Tracy is amazing and always there to give us a warm welcome. She is very accommodating throughout our stay. We love happy hours with her, and she makes the best rum punch! The location is perfect! It is private but still close to anything you want to do. We love being near the water and all the wonderful restaurants. The rooms and grounds are very clean. Each room is unique in its own way. Weโ€™ve loved every room weโ€™ve stayed in. Each had its own beautiful view! Tracy gives great recommendations on restaurants, excursions, and anything else you want to know about Key West.

My wife and I have been staying in Key West every year, sometimes more than once in a year, for the last 18 years. We even got married down there. We have stayed at quite a few different B&B's on the island, until we tried out Key West Harbor Inn about 11 years ago. We have never stayed anywhere else since. In fact we book our next trip before we leave. This place is perfect! It's clean, cozy and homey, without being pretentious or stuffy., and it's very "Key Westy". The location is ideal and the amenities like the daily full continental breakfast and happy hour are wonderful touches that allow you to mingle with the other guests and get to know the folks that run the place: Owner, Leo and Manager, Tracy. You can also rent bicycles directly from the B&B, which is the absolute best way to get around Key West, in my opinion. This place is a real gem, and we absolutely love it. They're not the cheapest, but far from the most expensive' however, you will get more than your money's worth during your stay. There's a reason why the majority of their guests are repeat customers.

A lovely inn with a great friendly host. They provide a continental breakfast and mimosas in the afternoon/early evening. The room is smaller but not cramped at all and you spend all day out and about on the island so it doesn't matter. A nice walk in shower as well.

Location, ambiance, and hospitality could not be any better. Such a beautiful bed and breakfast right in the middle of it all. The only reason for four stars instead of five is the bed. We stayed in the Jamaica room and it was the hardest bed we've slept on it a long time. Next time we may just request another room. Other than that, beautiful place to spend our 10th Anniversary!

My husband & I decided to stay here for our honeymoon. It was the best decision ever! This place is a hidden gem & is within walking distance to the pier and Duval. We also loved that there was a daily happy hour that gave us the opportunity to chat with everyone. Any future trips that we take to Key West, we plan on staying at the Harbor Inn again. Thank you for being awesome & so personable!

Another WONDERFUL stay at the Harbor Inn. After nearly a dozen visits, we will CERTAINLY be back. This was our first visit post covid - everything was very clean. Room cleaning is upon request and fresh towels can be gotten any time at all. There is always someone around to help with anything you need. Every employee is super friendly and of course Tracy has become a friend we love to come back and see :) Coffee area and happy hour area always fresh and tidy. We love coming back in the afternoon for a swim in the pool and relaxing on our private little deck in the Curacao room. We've stayed in several and all are special. This Inn is a super special warm and welcoming place!

Found this gem just driving by and are so glad! The lush landscape and beautiful setting and pool are amazing. Old world charm! Right near all the action and harbor make it an excellent choice. Loved the cats.. made us feel at home, since we left our 3 fur babies at home. You wonโ€™t regret staying here!

Best place to stay in Key West. Convenient to so much and yet you feel like you're in your own little oasis. Tracy and Dave make you feel like family, can't say enough good about them! Happy Hour every evening, pool is great, as well as the rooms being unique and well appointed. Will be back for sure!

My boyfriend and I stayed here during labor day this year. The location is wonderful - walking distance to all you'd need (incl. cuban coffee queen :) BUT they also offer on-site bike rentals for cruising around town or to the beach (pricing is very reasonable - less than the bike rental companies). You're right in the middle of everything but being gated with beautiful vegetation, it definitely feels removed (by the way- no issues with noise). The staff (shout out to Tracy) is very hospitable and friendly. They do a great job of making you feel welcome and like the inn is a home away from home. At 4:30 they do a happy hour at the pool - great time to grab a drink and go for a swim / chat with some of the other guests. Oh, and they have 2 adorable cats on the property (mango and mojito) The room was nice (just felt a little bit small with the king size bed but we were out and about the whole time anyways). Ours had a decent sized walk-in shower, vaulted ceilings (2nd floor), tv, small sink / bar / mini fridge area, and balcony overlooking pool (but on corner so could see some of harbor). The AC worked very well (had an issue with AC at last place we stayed at so this was a relief). We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it!

We would not stay anywhere else on the island. Tracy is always there to make sure you have what you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The room is always clean and supplied with what you need. The grounds are very pretty, like a tropical garden. You always feel welcome and at home! The location is perfect as you can get to shopping, restaurants, fishing, all within a short walk.

The inn was so quaint and inviting. It had a very tropical and vacation feel. We loved how our living space had a little porch with chairs and a mini sink and fridge. Itโ€™s tucked away on a quiet street, but not a far walk from Duval street or the marina. The office manager was very friendly and inviting. Check in and reservation was a breeze. There were no โ€œhidden feesโ€. The rooms were immaculate. No dust, no dirty bathroom, everything was spotless. Continental breakfast was served and had a good selection. Pool was warm and relaxing. You canโ€™t beat the price for all that was included and the cleanliness of the place. Best part was the two well-kept friendly cats they had running around. So fun. -Pallas

Beautiful property. Very friendly staff. The lady at the front desk gave me her Tylenol the morning after a night on Duval which is much appreciated. Love the plant life throughout the whole property. Pictures don't do it justice.

Great stay. Spent the night prior to going to the Dry Tortugas. Location was awesome, short walk to Duval St and so many restaurants and attractions. Only a 10 min walk down to the docks to get on the ferry. Nice happy hour and the rooms were very nice and clean. The neighborhood roosters were a bit loud at times but that is KW for you. Great stay at a great price. Highly recommend.

First time, at this lil beauty of a place! I loved it, and the location! This was a wonderful place for adults only, who want to really get away from it all! We stayed in the upstairs Puerto Rico room and enjoyed every minute of it! It was so unique and quite cool once you learn the AC unit!!๐Ÿ˜‚Dave & Tracey are so accommodating, and really make sure that you will have the best time ever!! It's not a high end resort, and doesn't need to be, but it really is, with all the amenities on sight, and the vibe of the whole place!! Thanks for all your recommendations and hospitality! We will see you again in the near future!

Amazing place really convenient to Duval, Mallory square, Resturaunt and bars. Tracie and Dave are the most gracious hosts, very accommodating. The staff keeps the place super clean. Such a great getaway. Everything is so on point from the pool area to the continental breakfast and cocktail hour with a great assortment of beer, wine, and mixed drinks. We love coming here and will continue to book all our stays in Key West at this historic location.
