Stayed here during our vacation to the keys. Staff at the front desk, (will) was very helpful and nice. Gave a great recommendation for dinner. The room was spacious and clean. There was a strange smell in the rooms but I think it was from the humidity. The hotel has a pool that was so great. Big chairs and loungers to relax at and chill after a day out. They serve breakfast in the morning that was really good. Always enjoy a make your own waffle. Parking is nice there is a space for the rooms. You can walk to most spots on the key but it will be hot. Driving or renting a golf cart is the best option.

Great place to stay. 2 minute walk to Southern most point. 2 minute walk to duval street. Restaurants around the area all easy walking distance. Rooms were clean and smelled bleached and disinfected. Not an obnoxious smell, just smelled properly cleaned. Staff was nice. Pool was EXCELLENT! Breakfast every day was full hot foods, eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins waffles toast bagels, oatmeal cold cereal. You name it they had it EVERY DAY. Laundry area, washer dryer, available next door. Live music at the tipsy rooster 2 doors down was fabulous. Could not have asked for a better stay.

We are a family of four staying on Key West for 3 nights. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Our room was ready one hour early. The room was very spacious for a two queen setup. There were two bathroom sinks which is very helpful with teen girls. The pool area boasted many types of seating, both full Sun and shade. The pool was warm and refreshing. The breakfast was different everyday, well stocked and delicious. The coffee was excellent. The location was perfect. Walkable distance to everywhere you want to go. We did have a car so free parking was excellent.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We were looking for something reasonably priced for March/April. It is an older hotel that has been beautifully renovated. We loved it. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Very clean. The housekeeping staff even clean the windows each day. The pool is great. There is a delicious breakfast each day with a wide selection. The office staff were helpful and friendly. Great location near great restaurants. Just a block from Duval. Definitely recommend!

Older style, dare I say retro, motel. The pool courtyard facing rooms are surrounded by well kept palms and greenery. They are are spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Located ~1 mile to the bustling end of Duval, so it's pretty chill yet still very walkable to almost all of Old Town. The included breakfast is decent and the few requests we had were very quickly taken care of. Love this place.

Awesome hotel right in Key West. Very close to everything. The room was spacious and clean. Looks like it was recently updated! The property was very nice, the pool was nice. They do have a weird 25+ policy, but luckily someone in our group was over 25. Other than that everything was perfect.

Itโ€™s our third stay in this hotel, every year a little longer, I guess it says a lot! First, the staff is always really nice and friendly be it on the phone for information or on site! The heated pool is great for a quick dive in the morning before going on an adventure or a whole afternoon session with the kids. Some may say the hotel is not the most recent and itโ€™s not as charming as others but the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The safe and free parking right outside the hotel is really convenient. The free continental breakfast has a good selection and enough for everyone which is great (could do with even more healthier options but thatโ€™s me being picky). The hotel is ideally located in Kew West (close too many attractions and restaurants). Both my wife and I had to work this time around and the internet was really good for video conferences and weโ€™re comfortably seated at the desk in the room. Already looking forward to our next stay in our happy place in Key West!

Second time staying here, still awesome. Rooms are clean and extra spacious. Complimentary breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. Pool area is amazing, always enough chairs to spare. Location location location! We walk everywhere from here. Front desk staff is the best!

I was hesitant at first about staying here because it was listed as a one star hotel. But, it had high ratings so I booked it! The rooms are spacious (two queens and a chair or sofa) and the pool is large with covered sunbeds. There is a decent breakfast and the staff have been top notch. It is located two blocks from the Southernmost Point rock and one block off of Duval street. The is the quiet end of the street, better for families I believe.

Its really not right to give us only one choice to "best describe" this place. Yes, it's a "great value," but it has so many other things to offer as well. It's really many of the choices listed---great location, romantic, quiet, kid friendly. Absolutely HUGE rooms, immaculately clean, very comfy air, huge courtyard pool with chaises and a perfect mix of sun/shade. Great hot breakfast; amazing, courteous and professional staff, plus all the perks that Best Western has to offer its Rewards Members. Within walking distance of the Gulf, Duval Street, Cruise Ship ports, Mallory Square, Barefoot Billy's, convenience stores, pharmacies and countless restaurants. This will be an annual place for us to stay in Key West for years to come. We LOVE Best Western, and we love the Best Western HIBISCUS. A+!!!

Yes, it is an older hotel. It seemed to be very clean, they offered a decent continental breakfast and the pool was warm. Priced accordingly for Key West. Walking distance to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. Quiet nights for good sleeping. Would definitely book here again.

This is a perfect place if you are looking for a nice quiet place. This is a quaint place to stay and I highly recommend it. It's located one block off Duval Street and runs parallel. The room was very clean and spacious. You can tell by design it's an older property, but very well maintained and modernized. Rooms surround a nice large swimming pool which is another give away that it is an older property. I cannot remember the last time I have seen a pool at a hotel that's 8' deep. The complimentary breakfast they serve each morning is fine and they plenty of tables poolside to handle the crowd. All the staff was very friendly!

This is a nice hotel with large rooms. Free parking and a nice breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, ... The pool is nice and is surrounded by the hotel so your room is likely to be right next to the pool. They are 2 blocks from the southernmost point, which is nice, but most of the fun in Key West is about a mile up the street. Walking distance for sure. If you want to dive to Old Downtown, though, be prepared to pay $5 per hour for on-street parking, so find a central spot and walk everywhere from there.

I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to stay down in the keys hand down. The rooms were very clean, well kept with modern touches. The staff was absolutely wonderful, as we got there an hour before check-in and they gave us towels and let us use the pool while we waited for our room to be ready. Speaking of the pool that was very clean and large. Had plenty of seating around the pool either shaded or unshaded, They have 2 sinks one in the bathroom and one outside the bathroom which made it easy for both of us to get ready. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options to choose from with coffee, juice and lemonade available throughout the day. Everything was within walking distance with tram spots right dow the street as well. When we come back to the keys I know where will be staying again!!

Great location! Quaint looking hotel, you would never guess it's a chain hotel. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The Breakfast was a great way to start each morning. The price was reasonable as well considering how popular key west is.

My parents visit the keys once or twice a year, this is the first time I was able to come back since having kids, so we all came together and started our trip in Key West! We have two toddlers that had a blast at the pool and very much so enjoyed their breakfasts here every morning! The location was perfect for us, we enjoyed having Anaโ€™s diagonally across the street for some good coffee every morning and some breakfast and lunch sandwiches some days as well. We loved having the tipsy rooster and rooster treats located basically next door! We still walked our way down to southern most point, as well as down through a duval street from our hotel (we prefer to walk over drive any day). The price canโ€™t be beat, the hotel rooms were spacious, very clean, and updated! We will definitely stay again!

Located on the southern side a stones-throw from the southernmost attractions. This was our second stay but first long term. Was very quiet with a gorgeous pool and "open court" that reminded us of our honeymoon location in Puerto Rico 11 years ago. The breakfast was adequate but definitely left more to be desired. It also wouldn't hurt to have staff that cared when you asked them for replenishment of simple things like water. Overall would 100% book again.

Excellent location close to many attractions and restaurants. Room was clean and well decorated. Loved the 2 sinks, one outside the bathroom. Pool area was beautiful. Breakfast was much better than most hotel breakfasts. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Only con was no elevator to second floor.

A nice place for a visit to Key West. Rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. The pool is a good size and has plenty of seating. If you're looking for a place close to the action, near Mallory Square and other downtown venues, this might not be your ideal hotel. But if you are open to exploring, either on foot or using the free Mallory Loop bus, it definitely works. Close to the Southernmost Point and several restaurants. The included breakfast is varied and quite sufficient.

This is the best Best Western and one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. The staff is incredible and on top of everything and the cleaning staff is unbelievable. The management of this hotel should be required to go to all Best Westerns and teach other management group how to do their jobs.

Fabulous location, clean rooms and grounds, wonderful breakfast and staff. I guess Jim retired. We saw poor reviews but this hotel is stellar. Remodeled, no carpet, comfortable beds, and generally excellent. Walking distance to Duval Street and Margaritaville.

Several year repeat visit. Room has some maintenance issues that could be addressed. Typical breakfast but dining area is a little small. Nice pool. Area for bicycle parking. Wi-Fi worked ok. No issues.

I have been staying at this hotel for many years. My first stay was about 20 years ago and I was so pleased, that I kept coming back. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful... My rooms have always been comfortable, spacious, and most importantly... CLEAN! And the bag of microwave popcorn in the room was a very nice touch! It's those little things that can make a huge difference. The property is conveniently located, so when we made the drive down from Miami, I was able to park my car at the hotel when we got there, and didn't have to move it until we left town. I will continue to plan my stays at this hotel Very happy there!

Great place to stay! We stayed here as a family of four about one month ago. The location was fantastic. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The pool was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was always helpful and friendly. Who could ask for anything more?

When we arrived, it was easy to change our room to a main floor, since there are no elevators to the second floor. The rooms were very well cleaned. There were lots of clean towels and extra towels for the pool area. The AC in the room worked well to keep the temperature nice and cool. The pool was great with a nice shallow end and a 7 foot deep end. Chairs and loungers all around the pool. The free breakfast was adequate with all the standard breakfast food from 7 to 10am. Lots of free off-street parking.
