We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days for our 5 year anniversary and our first stay in Key West. I thought I found a gem while booking based on the pictures online and the great pricing, but the experience was more than I even hoped for. Nick and the crew were incredible hosts from our arriving early, unplanned and leaving late, also unplanned. They held our bags and allowed us to schedule late check out the night before. The room was exceptionally clean and fully stocked- a home away from home. The location is the right side of Duval street, close to some of the best cafes and quiet enough at night. To top it all off the drinks were some of the best in all of our Key West experience. Thank you to all at the Speakeasy Inn and Rum Bar for hosting an incredible vacation! Will absolutely be back!

The room upstairs is adorable. It was so nice to be on top of the bar. I am very happy we chose to stay here for our vacation.

We just got home from our 5 night stay for our honeymoon. The staff was incredibly nice. Lenny is amazing. She does all of the room cleaning and maintains the property. We enjoyed our conversations with her. Our room was adequate for us. Well appointed. The a/c definitely drowns out any noise outside. Captain the huge cat is so funny. Strong drinks which is NOT common anywhere. We will be back. Google says they have free breakfast but there is no food.

We spent 4 days at the Speakeasy Inn. It's a lovely, quaint Inn with a great location right on Duval. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. Raymond is a sweetheart. Our room was upgraded (offered to us on arrival) due to an air conditioning issue in the room we originally booked. We ended up staying upstairs in room #2. The room included a pretty well stocked mini kitchen with bottled waters, a Kuerig coffee maker, a microwave and a refrigerator as well as utensils and dishes. The room was clean and pretty spacious for the two of us and the bed was really comfortable. We were given a voucher for 2 free painkillers downstairs at the Rum Bar (they were outstanding!). The Rum Bar is small but extremely well stocked, with a friendly & knowledgeable bartender, Q. The cocktails were probably some of the best we had this trip...well balanced & delicious. This is not a bar to miss visiting!

We didn't stay here but hung out at the rum bar one night and it was great. Our bartender Mark was very knowledgeable about all the rums. The flights are fun but there are also delicious rum drinks. Great night, would definitely return.

Very cozy apartment, beautiful area, lovely bar downstairs, the only problem is the water temperature for the shower, impossible to cool it down Edit : reading the other comments I just realised that the card the bartender gave us with : 2 free painkillers was about 2 cocktails and not real painkillers ... we missed that 😅

A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of old town Key West on world famous Duval street. The owners have thought of everything! My room has a kitchenette with microwave, silverware, and fridge. If you’re a coffee drinker, Speakeasy Inn has the best selection of Keurig coffee pods of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The fridge is stocked with large bottles of water and Gatorade. The room is lovely, and clean with a comfortable bed, and fresh linens. The bathroom was very clean and stocked with plenty of towels, soap, shampoo etc. The internet is fast and reliable. If you are looking to stay on Duval street…The Speakeasy Inn & Rum bar is your destination.

We were there for the power boat races. Everyone was very nice and helpful. LOVE Captain, the resident cat. Would highly recommend. Sit on the deck and people watch.

We will remember this place for a long time. Great location. The rum bar is a cozy place and so much fun. Our hosts are very special people that enjoy what they're doing. The room we stayed in was not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Perfect!!

What a let down. We stayed here for 6 days & it was awful. Would have switched hotels except all were completely booked. The property has new owners. Room was at the back of the property & very small. No lights on the pathway so very dark at night. Noone came to clean the room at all. We had to ask for towels & to have someone make the bed. Nothing was cleaned or replenished the entire stay. There were no bugs which was great & the location was very convenient. If you have an issue after the office closes at 5 or 6pm too bad cause you are on your own. There is noone in the office or on site just the bartender who can’t help you. The people at the bar until closing & even after closing are so loud. They dont realize that there are people staying in the rooms. We heard lots of yelling, cursing & sometimes fighting. If you plan on getting any sleep don’t stay here. We had to shimmy around the bed & our suitcases. There was no room to put anything or hang anything. Couldn’t use the small old kitchenette because we had to put our suitcases in front of it so we could walk in the room. Shower head sprayed water all over the walls & ceiling. Shower leaked puddles of water all over the floor. Outlets were loose & coming off the wall. This place is very old. The rooms need a lot of updating. Noone was even around when we checked out. Just left our keys outside the office. I would not recommend this place to anyone. What an awful experience. Basically they took our money & said see ya, you’re on your own. They obviously they don’t care about their customers. There was no customer service at all. Definitely ZERO stars. Find another place to stay. 👎🏻

I stayed in the Inn for one night, and it is by far one of the best nights I had during my vacation. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and excellent service. Definitely a hidden gem.

Great cocktails - we loved the 'Real McCoy Passionfruit Daiquiri that Konstantin mixed up! Cozy & friendly low-key atmosphere with a good vibes playlist. We didn't stay but met a couple who had booked a room upstairs & they said they would recommend.

Located on the quiet side of Duval. Easy walking distance to restaurants and bars. Got up every morning to watch the sunrise. Room had a kitchenette, and comfortable bed. Nice porch to sit. Rum bar located on the property.

Speakeasy Inn is a Perfect location in KW within walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. Super clean rooms and comfy beds. Raymond and Matt made sure we had everything we needed. The Rum Bar was a fun way to wind down in the evenings. Highly recommend! Thanks Raymond and Matt

Being in the customer service arena for 49 years with a $250B company, I appreciate great service, especially when I’m on the receiving end. Their customer service was amazing. I had a situation that required immediate attention and the owner stepped right in and resolved it quickly for us.

Thoroughly enjoyed the drinks I had at the rum bar. The bartender was friendly and the drinks were strong and well made. The bar area wasn't big but it had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I will definitely return next time I am in Key West.

We had a great time. The rumrunners were delicious. We stayed a couple nights in 2B would definitely come back. Loved having a bar on sight.

What a wonderful place! The spontaneous folks that we pretend to be sometimes came into Key West with no reservations. We were so happy to find that they had a room available. This nook was absolutely perfect for our stay. Completely stocked with coffee/coffee maker, bottled water, and toiletries. The on sight bar played all the best tunes, and by the time we were ready for sleep… the bar and patrons were considerably quiet. If you’re passing by, stop by and say hello to Captain Fat @$$ (the house Cat) conveniently located on Duval street.. walking distance to absolutely everything. This bed… is seriously made of angel feathers… the softest bed ever… the cozy feels, are astronomical! There is no part of hotel vibes here. Check in was delightful, super friendly staff members. * We will for sure positively be back to this location.

The stay at The Speakeasy Inn & Rum Bar was phenomenal! The bartenders are the best and the whole crew took very good care of us! We won’t stay anywhere else!

We just finished a 3 night stay here. The property in general was clean and very well maintained. Our room was spotlessly clean and well furnished and supplied with everything we needed. We were very comfortable there. Great location,as many have said, on the quieter end of Duval Street. Would definitely come back.

A cute little beach bungalow with a great rum bar at the bottom! The room was clean, well maintained, great air conditioning and a comfy bed. The best part though is the fat cat named Captain that lives on the ground floor who greets you now and again. Great location too!

Had a great time during our weekend visit. Nice and friendly staff. Very nice bar that sits below a few rooms. There are also a couple of rooms on each side of the house. Our room was on the first floor, just off the bar. Two complimentary pain killer drinks upon arrival. Room had basic amenities and included complimentary bottled water, which was restocked. Will be back.
