It is a three stars hotel and this is what you get in Key West for 354$ + tax per night in mid May. The extra 15$ for breakfast were waived by the host when I looked at him in dismay. My friends had a leaky shower and they were transferred to the under the stairs next to us, room number 1 and 2. Oooops. They are probably the worst. This whole island is not worth this kind of money.

We were robbed and they did not care. It was thousands. I called the emergency number to report the robbery and the guy that answered was hateful and would not help me at all. He told me to call the police which I already had. He wouldn't even answer the phone when I called back. Why he wouldn't want to file his own report and investigate immediately is dumbfounding. We left immedialy and had to find a different place to stay which cost be more than the two nights than our 4 nights here. I have had to file a claim with my credit card since the nights have been been credited and still no one has called. My friends who were also staying there asked why they didn't care the next morning and had the police called on them and were also forced to leave. It was a nightmare.

Roman and his team made us feel as we were part of the family. He even put flowers in my mums room for her 80th Birthday. Great place and comfort throughout. Great location and great restaurants and bars. Overall a lovely atmosphere and great night stay.

Great location to explore Key West! We walked everywhere, and we were so glad since parking can be tricky. All the staff at Heron House Court were really nice, and Roman was exceptional. He had great recommendations on where to eat and what to do while we were there. The room was very clean, and we felt very comfortable. Breakfast had good options, and they prepared eggs, too. Highly recommended!

It was such a pleasure to be there! Roman and Stephen are such considered concierges! I can completely recommend the heron house court for all! If you’re lucky you will get visitors like as the picture :) I would like to thank the whole team for everything! I will come back!

From the moment we entered this BnB we were pleased! Steven checked us in early and stored our luggage until 3 pm, with a smile! We stayed 2 nights 3 days. The breakfast is a delicious buffet with a variety of Continental healthy choices and some sweet muffins. I requested fresh sheets the 2nd night, which they were pleased to do promptly. The room is antique decorated and the exterior of the house is aged; however, clean and fresh. We will definitely return. A great BnB experience! We appreciated the Fresh flowers also.

The front desk hosts were awesome!! We had the suite in Room 10 and it was nice. Only complaint...the ceiling fan on one side of room did not work and the bathroom has no ventilation...so it can get quite stuffy in there. Overall, very good stay, nice and quiet, everyone was very friendly and just a great place to stay. Glad we chose to stay there.

We LOVED our stay here and was given Room 16 which was incredible. Perfect location and parking was no problem. We checked out due to Hurricane storms coming in otherwise we would have extended our stay but look forward to returning. Roman was an awesome host and even checked up to make sure we got back to Miami safely for our flight. Highly recommend!!

I have been staying at Heron House Court for eight years and my fiance has been staying here for well over 20 years. We love Roman and he alone is a huge reason we keep coming back. Great atmosphere, adult only setting, and far enough off of Duval for some quiet time. We come for Fantasy Fest every year and it gets quite busy, so coming back to Heron House Court is very relaxing. Great staff, Larry to Stephen and all involved will make sure you are taken care of......

Wasn't impressed by this property, but at least it was cost effective and safe. The cleanliness was ok, however the place is an old bed and breakfast and you have to adapt somewhat to that. Couldn't open any of the windows and had to rely on a small window AC. Service was good and got a nice welcoming tour. Well done here. Small pool and a cozy garden are available. The location is very convenient. This property is at walking distance from the Yankee freedom with a nice bakery shop in between. The neighborhood is nice and all the main attractions are 15' walking away. Street parking is available nearby, you might have to walk a block or two.

Nice to read reviews and see Roman is still here, and people still enjoy his charm and kindness. It’s been years since we went, but feel like I have to chime in that our experience was perfect. Was it dated? Yeah, a little. But so is Key West as a whole. I’d come back here in a heartbeat.

I went there last summer and the place was very nice calm, quiet, clean, spacious. Second time was 2 weeks ago, unfortunately my husband had an accident in the shower and the head manager did not call my husband to ask him how he was doing, or what he could do for him, we felt very disappointed, not very tactful with the client, after spend the night in the hospital.

The staff were great and very friendly. The breakfast was good with the options provided. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. Great to relax outside in the courtyard and pool areas. The problem was that the AC in the room ran like a jet engine, and the bathroom sink was on the verge of falling off the wall. Parking is a nightmare to find as it's street parking mostly. I didn't find out until checkout that they offered garage parking for an additional fee. I would've paid. Unless you're going to Uber everywhere, be prepared to lose your space and when you return you will be forced to circle the area with confusing signs on what's allowed and not allowed as far as parking goes. You may end up parking a distance away. We opted not to use our vehicle after our 1st day at all once we secured parking a block and half away.

To those who complained that this property is in disrepair, I completely disagree. We found the room to be quite comfortable, cool, and clean. The pool is small, but secluded, nestled amongst lovely vegetation, there are abundant loungers and easily accessible towels. Free breakfast had a few options and eating it in the outdoor courtyard was a plus. But the crowning jewel of our visit was Roman at the desk. Wonderful customer service, attentive manner, and great personalized conversation were all part of his approach. We'll DEFINITELY be back!

We had a lovely visit! The perfect 4 day warm weather get away from home! Our host Romon was delightful and super helpful with directions, tour suggestions and more. Thanks for making our week brighter. Phillip and Dana (the funny one) Epstein

This place was not nice. It really needs some work. We stayed in room 4. It would take me a long time to name all the things that need fixing/updating. Will not stay here again: will spend a few more hundred and stay somewhere else.

We stayed October 21 - October 24 2022, it's a nice bed & breakfast to stay at 7 blocks due east of Duval down Eaton st. They have a mini breakfast 8am - ? We were told the only smoking area was out front on the porch, but I'm confused why weed smoke is okay but cigarette smoke is any different...? There was people smoking weed upstairs and in the lobby, and out on the side, because the smell was all over. But, we sat out front and smoked as instructed.

They wont offer a refund or credit for a future stay for the weekend Hurricane Ian ripped through Florida. We've had it booked for months, was unable to travel due to the Hurricane, all airports being shut down (including Key West), etc....and now they wont return calls or messages left. I will be filing a claim through my bank, and if course I will never book anything here again.

I was quite disappointed, although a nice quiet place away from the sound of Duval, unit 105 was outdated and needs a refresher. The mini refrigerator was rusted out, and the bath towels given to us for 2 nights straight had holes in them. Upon check-in, we found the AC was not turned on and it smelled heavily of clorex. The flooring had cracked tiles throughout and even the table lamp had to rig for it to turn on and off. The AC button was not visible to turn on- so I called for service and emergency number it took 2 hours for someone to call back. We had just check-in 7 minutes after they closed. Even the person that went to the room to turn the AC on could not operate it. We had to sleep with just a ceiling fan on. I am still waiting for my 1-day credit for the inconvenience. It took them another full day to figure out the AC. Even our neighbors next door had their bathroom window pane fall out and break for no apparent reason. I found the place to be closer to the wharf and a distance to walk every place else. For the amount of money, I felt it was overpriced and not a great value. The European breakfast was refurbished food from the previous day's breakfast. Not a Memorial Day Weekend I planned for my family vacation.

This place is a little long in the tooth. Everything appears to be in disrepair. A lot of normal maintenance items seem to be ignored. Rooms need to be updated. Room cleaning is not that great either. Roman is nice but we did not get that feeling from anyone else working at this place. There is also a $15 per day "resort fee" which I think is just a money grab. Complimentary breakfast was just so so. This is one of the more reasonable priced places to stay in KW and I guess you get what you pay for. The owners need to step up and update and maintain the place. I would not recommend.

This place is not nice. The room we stayed at was very run down and smelled bad. There were missing outlet cover over the electrical outlet. Missing lamp shades and cracked tile in the rooms. It is very dated and many maintenance items have been overlooked. Don’t bother with the breakfast unless you are craving mass produced danishes. The lemon pound cake was good though. There is no parking on site. Would not stay again, spend a little more and go somewhere else.
