Want to give more insight on this place as I found the good and bad reviews left before didn't cut it for me. Guesthouse has many different size/bed size rooms (I had no idea as was booking through a holiday website) and gotta say some beds are really tiny due to lack of space. Pretty comfy though, mid of soft and hard. So best to book through their own website and choose the size you want rather then get a surprise, like myself. Our room had a leak when we arrived and was quite damp due to storm the day before. But Lin at the reception comped our stay in this room and for our 3rd (last) night moved to a large beautiful room. The gesture alone made us stay instead of looking for another place last minute. Key West Old Town is small and old, most places have small rooms, uneven floor and some sort of issues especially after storms, thats part of the charm. If you haven't been here yet and want a lux stay- book at the large resorts. Want to mention that Angelina's is one of only few privately owned guest houses left in Key West, most are owed by large companies. Please take that in consideration when giving them one star for not providing you with a specific fruit in the morning buffet! They are attentive and most accommodating and will do everything to resolve any issue and make your stay lovely.

I'd say we had a good stay here as far as our room and amenities go. As other reviewers mentioned, many people had their reservations cancelled at the last minute because new owners bought the place. This was not communicated well and we had to call in a panic to find out if our dates we booked were cancelled. They informed us that the week after our stay would be the "cutoff", so we got very lucky. We had one of the rooms with a shared bathroom. Our room was clean and the bathrooms were clean as well. I am shocked to see the new pricing though. We paid just over $500 for a 3 night stay which I think was very appropriate for our room and time of year (December 2021). Now it appears to be more than that for one night! I would not stay here again with that pricing and the lack of organization that surrounding the transition to new owners.

For many years the Angelina guest house has been my go-to while staying in Key West. It was a hidden Oasis footsteps away from the Lively nightlife of Duval. Famous for their cinnamon buns and hospitality we've always enjoyed our stays at the Angelina. During our last day in the fall of 2021 we would always leave a deposit for our next stay the following year. We were made aware that the hotel was being sold but the new owners would honor the reservations. Early this summer I found the hotel had a renovation so I went online to check to see how the hotel changed. From what I could see online I could not see any upgrades at the hotel. I went to see if the pricing per night changed and to my surprise I found my room was available for my dates that I had reserved, however the price had more than tripled. Unable to find a phone number for the Angelina I contacted the Naya as they are owned by the same parent company SMS lodgings. I was informed that all prior reservations were canceled. I thought this was odd as I never received a notification nor did I receive a refund for my deposit. I contacted a few people that regularly stayed during the same time as I visit and I found out that they were told that the hotel would not be open in the fall because it was under renovation. It seems that the Angelina may have used the guys of renovation to cancel reservations in order to receive upwards of triple the rate that was guaranteed in 2021. I have sent multiple emails to the Angelina to SMS lodgings and left a message with the manager of the Naya to have the manager of the Angelina contact me and I'm yet to get a response. I have not been issue a refund for my deposit and now much higher price. I know of five other people who had their reservations canceled unethically

We stayed here for three nights while in Key West. Overall we had a great experience. The rooms were nice, a little small, but nothing to complain about. Our biggest grip was the AC unit in the room had a very bright and annoying light inside that did not turn off all night. The room stayed bright all night, making it difficult to sleep in, especially with the endless rooster noises from the island. The staff was friendly and helpful, check in and out was easy. A simple breakfast was supplied each morning with bread products, yogurts, and good tasting cinnamon rolls. Location wise it was great. Super close to all the bars and restaurants on Duval Street. Within walking distance of the state park beach as well. I would probably stay here again in the future, I do recommend. The AC units were a little annoying but that's my only complaint.

Right off the road and you can hear traffic but it feels private. Access to own room and walking distance from food/activities. Pool area is so serene & clean with a waterfall and bench feature. The nature surrounding is amazing to look at as well.

We stayed there in June and had the most amazing experience. The owners are kind and welcoming. Everything we needed was in walking distance but as we are both 50 we chose to get scooters made it a whole lot easier. The room we booked had a bathroom which was great. The bed was so comfy I did not want to leave it in the morning. I love that this is not a party place. I can not wait to go back.

Great location, super tiny room. Heated pool. No cleaning of your room during your stay but it was a clean place. No ice or beverage vending on-site so you’ll need to bring your own water and drinks. It is now called Tranqulity (Nov 23)

This is the cutest little guest house. I live out on the hook and stay here when bad storms come through that I do not feel like rocking through on my boat 1.7 miles from land. The staff is friendly. I had a conversation with who I imagine to be the owners and they were as kind as can be. Do not miss out on the complimentary breakfast. The cinnamon rolls are amazing! The pool area is very relaxing. It's a nice and quiet place and close to everything. Their rates are great, too. I haven't regretted ever staying here, that's for sure. It's literally my home away from home.

Pretty clean and cozy rooms. The beds were very uncomfortable for us though. The location was not bad but would recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, because this b&b is quite a walk from the pier and popular parts of Duval St. For part of our stay, we had to use the communal bathroom and shower. I would suggest installing a shampoo and soap dispenser in the shower. It didn’t make sense for us to carry those basic supplies in and out of our room. Just a suggestion to make the stay more comfortable!

Room was clean and as advertised. Courtyard pool area was very nice. Very good value compared to hotels in the area. Two blocks from Duvall Street so everything is in walking distance.

I’m so disappointed… I’ve been to the Angelina House for the past 5 years. The wonderful owners sold it less than a year ago. The new owners just canceled everyone’s reservations. Now we need to change our vacation plans. DO NOT STAY HERE…. NEW OWNERS ARE TERRIBLE!!!!

Our stay was non existent due to the fact that the new owners canceled everyone's reservation and are now just taking "walk-ins"! We had our reservation for 10 months. Luckily we found other accommodations! They have doubled the rates Walk ins are overpaying! Don't stay here! They do not care about service just $$$. The former owners were wonderful. We will never go back.Don't stay here! They are jerks! And liars... said they were remdeling

This place more than exceeded our expectations from check in to check out very friendly staff, unbeatable location for Duval street, 3-5 minute walk to mostly anything on Duval. Cleanliness and size of room were amazing the Angelina is truly a hidden gem and would stay here over any high rise or over priced chain resort in key west!

I think this place should stop working, not clean enough for this time, or any , you have to shared bathroom with 4 rooms, that you don’t know the people. Ones you booked and you are not agree they don’t return your money. When I booked this hotel the price was very expensive $700 a night wish I think Is unreal , but it was my birthday, so I want to have some new experience, never been in key west, this was last minute, so the only hotel available was this one. When I get to the place and they told me about the bathroom shared , I was in shocked, I never expected that in a hotel you shared a bathroom and not now with all the problems about COVID They should name it this diferente. I’m pregnant and I explained my situation about the shared and they were rude and didn’t return my money. Front Desck not professional and management either. I can’t understand those good reviews. They don’t really deserved it.

Cute little hotel with a spectacular outdoor pool that feels like a hot tub. The shared bathroom was no problem at all! Stayed in Rosie one. Very clean well cared for establishment.

Location, Location, Location! Very accommodating for the price on a Holiday weekend. We stayed in Debbie and again location was perfect! Lynn was a joy to work with...the other gals that were there could definitely use some coaching on customer service! Ex: originally said we would like to rent bikes when we arrived, changed our mind and rented a scooter instead ( had knee surgery) the new gal that checked us in made it a big deal that we changed our mind and said "well I hope I can rent them....I held them for you!" There was like 10 bikes outside, not rented. The other newer gal, was a bit gruff and made me uncomfortable when speaking. Cinnamon Rolls are delicious and Finn the kitty cat is a joy! Be prepared, he will come in to your room and make himself at home and then mosey on to his next venture...He a great asset to the quaint property! Mattress in our room was a little to soft.

This was such a pleasant surprise!! We arrived in Key West last minute with no reservations anywhere. We found this place just off Duval St. Very beautiful, clean and such a great location!! We had a late check in and they had everything waiting on us. Beautiful swimming area, nice breakfast. Perfect!! Roosters woke us up early but we learned roosters are everywhere!! Will definitely go back!

Amazing location and value! This hotel is PERFECTLY situated for walking around old town Key West. Do not bother to bring a car! We got the Belle suite, which has a private bathroom and entrance, and it was a wonderful home base for our trip to Key West. Definitely a superior experience to the generic resorts on the far outskirts of town!
