We stayed in a clean efficient room and the location was within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go, we did approx 15k steps daily. We listened to a concierge advice but resorts aren't our thing so we would NEVER stay here again, it was way overcrowded with families and too many children are NEVER a good thing. Take the kids to disney world!!

We only had drinks at the outdoor bar, but it has phenomenal views. It is one of the most beautiful marinas, where you're likely to catch views of manatees, and a bazillion tarpon all coming up for the fisherman's catch. Such a fun place to set and people watch and just look at the beautiful Marina! They have a nice appetizer menu too!

This is a timeshare establishment in a prime location on the waterfront. As of this review the rooms are dated (80s/90s decor) and in desparate need of a design refresh and update. Still, you cannot beat the location on the waterfront. Downstairs is a no-frills bar (Tiki Bar) that serves drinks only in a laid-back setting, often with an acoustic musical guest present. There are many shops, bars, and restaurants within a few minutes walk in every direction. There is a large parking garage and parking lot for guests of the Galleon.

Positives: great location. Walking distance to everything so no need to ever use your car. There is parking included. Nicely decorated rooms. Friendly staff. Negatives: tiles floors so you can hear every movement in the room above you. We had cold (not even warm) water in both rooms we stayed in all three days we were there. At all different times of the day, even after waiting with the water running. When we asked the front desk to sent someone up to check on it while we were out on the island, they ended up leaving a message that they “couldn’t go in the room because the do not disturb sign was on the door.” So yeah, that’s a little silly, and having cold showers stunk. They also have you clean any used dishes and make things generally orderly under the warning that they will charge for these things when they check out, and they say they charge a 100$ fee for every hour after 10am you check out. We left the room on time and very clean but these strict rules felt like they were more air bnb than hotel.

Our stay was good. The location cannot be beat. This is walking distance from Duval St., shopping, restaurants, and the docks. There was ample parking for bicycles and there was no issue with parking for 1 car per unit. The staff were friendly and hospitable. The room however, was not what we expected. It was one room with a huge bathroom located outside of the property on Front street this is "G" building. Upon arrival there was some misunderstanding with staff thinking we were non-residents trying to use amenities. However after a day or so there were pretty familiar with is and acknowledged us in passing. There were some small maintenance issues on arrival which were handled promptly. They allowed us to keep the car parked for a short time after checkout to return rentals and get breakfast. We only had to drive to one excursion and otherwise walked or biked which was very convenient. Pics attached. Please excuse the bed we has just woke up.

Definitely a favorite for sunsets.🌅 They have it All . . Private beach, (with foot rinser)pool, huge sundeck facing west. A private floating deck and their very own tiki bar! Ask for Rene. She Rocks!(as in margaritas!) And live music to boot! See if you can find their secret rooftop as well. A love at first sunset for this one-eyed merman! 🥂

We stay at the Galleon every year. It's always been an awesome place. Beautiful, clean and it's really a great location. A short walking distance to Duval street and located adjacent to the docks where you can book a fishing charter, a sunset or dolphin cruise.

We have been vacationing in Key West for over 30 years. Had we known about the Galleon Resort years ago, we would have purchased. The location of the Galleon is second to none. We love walking the boardwalk and seeing the wildlife, harbor, sunset and the boats coming in and out. It is an absolutely breathtaking sight to see. It is in the heart of Key West. Just out of the action but close enough that it is a small walk away. Check out the Galleon for your next holiday! You will sure to be impressed!

The staff have been great! It’s just a few steps from Duvall street! Lots of food options near by. Skip Mallory square for a sunset view, there is a rooftop patio that has the best sunset view on the island. It’s spectacular! The tiki is great too. Rooms are great and clean. The marina is just out the doorway. Lots of activities super close. 2 really nice rum distilleries are just a few blocks away. We Weill be back next year for sure. It a 20$ cab ride from the airport. We walked every where with ease.

Located on the Harbor Walk, just blocks from Duval St, Mallory Square/Sunset Festival and several great restaurants. The wonderful saltwater swimming pool is a social gathering place in the afternoon. Live music and great drinks in the Tiki Bar. Balconies to relax on before climbing into bed and for morning coffee before starting your adventures all over again!

Marina visit. The Galleon is right in the middle of things in key west. Tight slips for sure. The tiki bar is great and so are the staff. Beach with sand just outside the bar. Pool is spacious with hot tub. Dockmaster and hands are competent. boardwalk bar has a great breakfast. This is a very busy marina, very. With charters , transients, seasonals, comingled with at least two other marinas, jet ski rentals and a gas dock. Throw in a good bit of dingy traffic from the anchorages. Good depth, but tight. Great breakwater and good protection. Marina, Pool and tiki bar share the restroom, and some interlopers. showers are separated from restrooms, shared, and curtained. Loved the resort but the clientele is a bit high brow. Wifi was spotty, video calls are difficult. 5g came in strong.

I have been an owner for over 20 years, it was always a great place to relax with out going outside the country, but the last stay was not as I am used to, people at the risepshin are not qualified to deal with resort coming crowd,

Really enjoyed the location and the views are gorgeous! Situated in the heart of Old Town Key West, it's next to the marina and a few blocks walking distance to Duvall Street. There are two bars at this location and numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. Rooms and bathrooms could use some updates.

This was my 3rd or 4th time in a slip at the Galleon. The crew running the dock are responsive and helpful. The amenities are nice, showers, gym, pool, pool bar, restaraunt, etc. And, of course you are walking distance from lots of places. My only complaint was security wouldn't allow a car into the garage to get closer to the dock. Instead we had to carry luggage and gear a hundred yards. Could have been a little more hospitable.

I live in KW and my close friends stay at the Galleon several times a year and I visit them and enjoy the amazing views and pool. They have Bingo every day and live music under the Tiki bar and one of the best views to watch the speed boat races!!

Check in was not so friendly! I felt like i was inconveniencing them. We were there for 3 days and all we asked was for some fresh towels and they accommodated that. Check out was at 10:00 they were banging on our door at 5 minutes of to clean it. Check in isn't until 4:00 so I'm not sure what the hurry was. We will not be going back

Very nice! We were here as guests for a week and loved it! It has top-notch suites with all the amenities you would ever want. Right on the water at the ntrance of the warf. Lots to do with a multitude of choices for excursions just a short walk away. Party boats, fishing trips, snorkeling excursions, sunset cruises, restaurants, and bars galore! Nearby, at walking distance, you can rent skidoos, bicicles, golf carts, etc.. you can not get bored here!

Our room was not attached to the hotel. It was out next to the entrance in a three story building. The pool was at the perfect temperature, and the jacuzzi was nice and warm. Loved renting a bike nearby and biking all over. The hotel is close to the excitement of Key West.

Location is everything and the Galleon has it. The units are nicely appointed, up to date and clean. But the key is where the resort is located, it is in the best location for a fun visit to Key West. It's right on the boardwalk, a block from Duval, right near all types of water activities and a short walk from historical sites. Location is everything and this is where you want to be.

EXCELLENT location with great pool a Tiki Bar and an outside restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Very close (walking distance) to huge assortment of restaurants and bars so something for everyone. Rooms very clean but slightly dated. Very well kept grounds.

There was some miscommunication about when our room would be ready, but they fixed it right away. Love the pool and beach area. The bartenders at the Tiki Bar were amazing. Location is perfect for all restaurants and activities. Highly recommend.

This is a great location with a lot to offer. Coffee can be found within walking, scooters need to rented before they close for the day. We had a RAM 2500 4 Door parking is so tight that it took 4 parking spots before we had a spot that we could open our doors and actually fit enough to get out. the bar and restaurant are great! the sunset view is great, especially from the roof. Staff seem great and attentive. The room was decent, bed was a bit on the firmer side but sleepable. The shower glass was poorly designed and basically all of the water in the shower would run outside of the shower, we had to put towels up against the opening to keep it from happening and the door to the restroom could be replaced/updated but the rest of the room was nice. Thin walls, you'll hear loud banging in the morning and at night from other people opening and closing their doors.

Superb location! 2 bedroom was spacious and well furnished, even if the cooking utensils had some short comings. Pool, hot tub and beach was awesome. Night swimming in the ocean was great and snorkeling under the dock during the day revealed lots of schooling fish and other interesting items. Observation deck on top of resort was fabulous for the sunset view. Tourist tip: Be sure to be down at the marina dock when the fishing boats come in. They dock and clean their catch for the day. The scraps they throw in the water attract the local wildlife. WOW. Probably the closest you will get to a real BIG fish on your trip.

The Galleon was amazing. Views from around the property are beautiful. Convient to shopping and adventure. A very short walk to Mallory Square or Duval St. Has a private beach to swim and snorkel. Would recommend to all.

Excellent waterfront resort with well equipped condos including private washers & dryers. Private beach & just steps from fine dining, great happy hours and two blocks from Duval.

We were at the marina not in a room. The service was excellent, nice floating docks and close to everything. They have a wonderful pool, great bars and restaurants plus you're STEPS AWAY FROM DUVAL ST... clean showers and a laundry facility too..

We were unable to check in to our +$350/ night room until after 7PM due to “staffing shortage.” We understand the current times and employment struggles, however, the front desk was terribly unprofessional and lacked any sort of customer service. This was once a very highly respected place to stay. It’s now incredibly overpriced. We were unable to score a room with a view , (likely because those are all timeshares now) and stayed in G-unit building. Motel 6s are nicer than this building. The air conditioning system was incredibly loud. Furniture outdated and damaged. Bed spread felt like an old towel. Very disappointing. Location near the docks is the only thing they have going for them any more. TLDR - book elsewhere unless you’re a timeshare holder.

My wife and I loved this place. Great room. Wonderful views from out balcony overlooking the pool. Great pool to lol in. very friendly service. It's pricey, but then everything in Key West and all over the world costs a lot more than it used to.
