I was required to give at least 1 star in order to be able to submit this review. I really give a big 0!! My husband and I stayed at Coconut Mallory Resort and Marina at the end of May. I found that the wifi was difficult at times to connect to and the TV/cable would lose sound. We didn't bother mentioning it to the front desk, b/c we were on vacation and disconnecting. Also, there were a few cockroaches that we had to get rid of each day that we stayed there, but as a Floridian and being on an island that happens. The day before we're leaving (in the afternoon) there was a knock on our door and a man said "maintenance" and opened the door to our room with his key. My husband and I were in the bedroom and my husband went out into the living area as the man was entering our room and started moving the curtain. My husband told him to leave and he said he wanted to get something, but my husband told him to leave the room. Btw, we were never informed that "maintenance" would be coming by and for what reason. We went out that same day around 6PM and when we walked by the room next to us, we saw a can of "roach bomb" inside the front door. When we came back that night at midnight, we walked into dead cockroaches all around the room and on the night stand. After the extermination from the room next us. I wanted to leave and find another hotel to stay in because we were obviously disgusted, but it was late at night and we were checking out the next morning. My husband removed all of the dead cockroaches himself. How do we know what we inhaled and what medical issues it may cause? It's incredibly disappointing because we had stayed there twice when we first met 8 yrs ago and there were issues that were shady back then, but nothing like this. The person(s) who decided that it was fine to spray the room next to our room, (most likely knowing that the dead cockroaches would be dispersed all over the floor) should be fired! This person / Management clearly didn't care to look in the system (or care at all) to see when we were checking out, because it was approved by someone and happened regardless of knowing that we were checking out in the morning. We emailed the Management Company about this and never heard back. Needless to say that we won't be returning.

I exchanged my Wyndham into this resort for my friends. Upon arrival the resort looked fabulous; however, after sleeping there the first night they encountered bed bugs. Everyone was covered in bites. They complained but only the sheets were changed. As we all know, the bed bugs live in the mattress. The resort said they couldn't move them to another room as they were totally booked yet the pool area was vacant. I have attached pictures of the bugs, the bites and the blood. Reservation #2142086.

My in-laws have a time share here so we are sometimes able to come down here with them. This place is great! Great spacious, comfortable rooms. A hurricane decimated the place a few years ago but they did a great job rebuilding it and it looks better than before! It's right on the water so you can walk the docs in the back especially at night and sometimes see the manatees swimming underneath you! Really awesome to see! They have two really nice salt water pools and they are near one of our favorite places to eat called the Hurricane Hole so that's a bonus for us. I definitely recommend staying here 100% when looking at a place to stay in Key West.

Room was quite musty smelling when we first got here. Office closed early. Can't swim in the pools after sundown. I believe they should keep the pools open for people that like to swim after dinner in the evening. Bar closed early so you couldn't play pool either. Other then that it was great

Quaint, nostalgic downtown vibe but removed from the chaotic downtown area, which is only a few minutes drive away. We had a studio, which was perfect for the two of us. There are some minor repairs that need to be done - like broken towel hooks. Overall a great place to call home while exploring Key West if you don't mind driving to area attractions. Two small pools, a bar and hot tub on site.

Terrible, we walk in and there are dead cockroackes. Bed bugs in the master bedroom. I went home with bed bugs all over my hand and legs and they didn't even give me a partial or any type of refund. Terrible place.

As soon as we walked into our room that was at the end of a row of cottages there was a smell. We could never figure it out but it never went away, we went and bought febreze and sprayed it frequently, thank goodness we weren’t there much. After we came home all of our clothing smelled like the room. The room faced a wall with greenery so there was zero view. The shower was quite old and tile not great condition. We were told as soon as we got there that the tiki bar was not open as they were waiting on new owners. The laundry room dryer was broken. Could not find towels for the pool but our 2nd time at pool thank goodness an employee saw us and got us some. I called the office for toilet paper and at first she told me to come get it but then changed her mind. I would pay extra for another Hotel if I had the chance again.

The rooms are adequate for vacation and the internet worked very well. The pool areas are both very nice as well. The lady that did our check-in was not pleasant nor helpful. Other than the fact she told me were to purchase a can opener. The location is fine as long as you do not want to do anything in the Old Town area. Perfect for just a quiet getaway.

My trip was business related and I had to bring the family with me. I was very skeptical at first and felt like I it was going to be bad. However, I really liked It! Super spacious condo. The staff is helpful and friendly, even though hard to reach. We did have an incident with dryer. But luckily we're able to figure it out. They have a couple of rules you have to follow so make sure you read the guide. And check out really is at 10am!!!

I have ro say staying at Coconut Mallory was the BEST experience ever. We arived after hours, had out envelope waiting for us not only with the keys but with a note detailing all of our needs. The area by the office super tropical, cozy and colorful. This place is a hidden gem, the apartment felt like being at home, everything clean, all neat & comfortable. The common area was fabulous, the trees by the marina & pool, the hammock by the pool & the awesome bbq sitting area for a great family time all well thought of. Close from the crowd yet quiet & cozy, a guest for life. This was a priceless getaway

Cool place, decent beer selection, nice tall cold mugs, the bartender playing piano was pretty cool. Liked the atmosphere alot. Sit on the water, have a beer, enjoy. They filmed the show Key West here from the 90s. Cool spot.

Stayed here for a wedding and all was wonderful. Yenni Eppy and the crew were nothing but "Aces" with kindness and grace. Lovely stay and can't wait to go back.

The units were surprisingly big and comfortable. They were far nicer than I expected. I am so glad I chose this location as it was near everything we needed.

My 1st time here, fornthe cost it is an amazing option. Its a $15-20 uber ride to Duval. The down side is the food is not available on site, the bar Gumbos only offers hotdogs or italian sausages and isnt open until after 2 p.m. Bar tender Brandy is amazing. Im looking forward to a visit here in the fall.

The best, reclusive, chill, when you want to be off Duval and away from tourists. It ha sits own bar and marina, staff are great! Can't wait to be back!!

This location is at the far east end of Key West and is great for families that don't want the noise of Duval St. Nice pools, great parking, a little open air bar and kayak rentals as well as boat dock space. Quiet at night.

Staff was kind. Place was clean and nice. Loved the full kitchen and the balcony. Enjoyed my morning coffee out there while looking at the water. Perfect for a family of 4-6. I only have 2 complaints. The beds are very hard. I could feel the metal springs in my hips all night. They need to replace those beds asap. The water pressure in shower was super disappointing also. If I am paying over 300 a night, I at least expect comfortable mattresses. That was the biggest issue. Also, beware that If you have a boat trailer it’s an extra $75 to park it in the parking lot, on top of the boat slip fee.

Great place with its own bar and 2 well kept pools. The location is pretty far from most things so it is quiet which is nice but you probably need a car or be prepared to use ride share every day. Biking to Duval is doable but probably a 30 minute bike ride which is a bit long when it's hot outside.

Lovely property with a quiet location away from the old town frenzy. Elevator wasn’t working for my stay. That was annoying when managing luggage, but otherwise I had a great stay in unit 101.

Office management and staff are not effective, lack communication skills and do not seem to understand customer expectations in the hospitality industry. Both of the pools are closed and there is no contingency plan to accommodate guests. A provisional day-pass to any of the other nearby resorts would have been appreciated. We were asked to be understanding, and we were for our first 3 days. We called multiple times prior to our arrival and were assured a pool was open, up on check in we found out both were closed, with no estimated time for completion. Very sad that I cannot recommend a better review as I had such high expectations for Coconut Mallory prior to experiencing the lack of service

It was a good value for the deal we got. We had a 1 bedroom with a 1 1/2 bath with small kitchen and living room. Was roomy for 2 of us, would have been too small for more (hypothetically sleeps 4). The small veranda was lovely. Grounds were pretty and well cared for. Loved the bar and small marina and pool area. Downsides - 1) no maid service - you can get fresh towels once a week, 2) pool/spa only open dawn to dusk (this has benefits - this is the quietest place we have ever stayed in key west - not a party place) 3) bugs - not sure if they were mosquitos or biting midges but I could not go outside without being bit unless head to toe with repellant. It is nestled in the mangroves so that makes sense but this was January so didn't expect it and hadn't had a mosquito problem before on key west. 20 bites on one day and I was miserable. But with repellant, I was ok after that. Just be aware! Also palmetto bugs are on the property - and in the rooms. Do not leave food out!

Good location. Rooms are nice and pretty clean, except there was hair on the bathroom walls, and the ac doesn't work the best. We kept all the windows and door shut all the time like they tell you and had it down to 60, but I don't think it ever got below 70 in the room. Other than that, for the price, it was a good stay, especially for key west.

It's an ok place. There is a nice bar slash boathouse on site. The rooms are decent but not amazing. We just stay here as a place to relax and sleep between excursions. I've stayed here three years now and will likely stay again.
