👍👍 We really enjoyed our stay! It was about a 25-minute bike ride to many of the Key West tourist destinations, but the bike routes were safe and comfortable. The grounds were clean, and the iguana were friendly. No bath house during our visit, but on site sewer hookup was appreciated. People often mention West, campground, clean, stay, nice, Leo', friendly, great, park, site,

We absolutely love Leo’s Campground. The owner and the wonderful staff are super helpful, visible and friendly. The Friday night happy hour is a great way to visit with fellow campers and make wonderful friends. The campground is clean and the tiki huts are an awesome place to gather. Location is great, just a 4 mile bike ride to Old Town Key West, beaches and restaurants. We can’t wait to go back next year!

Everyone here makes you feel like you have come home! The sites are large, clean, safe, well equipped, with full hook up, and the staff help with everything you need. The laundry room is clean and well equipped. The campground has Tiki huts around the property and seating near the lagoon, there's a dock and a small boat launch. They've got a channel that connects to the Gulf of Mexico. The campground is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, pharmacy, hospital and clubs!! The daily, weekly and monthly prices are reasonable and includes everything.

Great 3 night stay! We have a 30ft travel trailer and were assigned B15. We backed in from the street and wasn't too bad. It is a quiet campground that is VERY close to everything Key West has to offer. They also had a (small) dog park that was perfect for our little pup. We would stay here again!

Had a wonderful stay. Our site next to the pond was awesome, which we shared with several resident iguanas. Staff was friendly and the place was clean and nicely maintained. Fine basecamp for all our adventures in the Keys.

Well maintained campground. Great location for easy access to Key West. We used our electric bikes for transportation around town. Everything is a fast and easy ride from Leo's Campground. We had site 7A which was perfect size for our 32 foot travel trailer and truck. Campground had three washers and three dryers that were reasonably priced. No bathrooms or showers available which was fine for us. We highly recommend it for anyone visiting Key West and plan to come back again.

Beautiful Campground with that hometown feel. People are super friendly and view of Lake is gorgeous. we wished we had stayed longer as tired if RV parks where you are in tight rows. 38 ft Winnebago worked great for wide turns I park and into site. Dumping station easy too. If the main highway a short distance but when you get there it is like another world. Recommend!

This place is great, the camp host is amazing! Sites are very clean, they have several gazebos with different things to be entertained. The iguanas here are huge! Definitely recommend it for peace and quite.

I was in that RV campgroung for 4 days and everything was very quiet, clean and at night everything was lit and a very good price. The spaces to put the RVs are separated by fences, each a few RVs. The only thing that was felt was some noise when the cars passed by. In the first spaces at the beginning of the campground, otherwise everything was perfect.

We’ve been camping at Leo’s RV park for the past seven or so Thanksgivings and a couple other trips. Perfect location, exceptional staff and every year they seem to have added or improved some feature. The park was not very full this Thanksgiving. Not sure why. Very few RVs on the road, too. High fuel prices? In any event, if you’re headed for the lower keys, Leo’s is the place to be. There are no RV parks on Key West so Leo’s on Stock Island is as close to the party as you can get in an RV. It’s literally a 30 minute bicycle ride to anything worth seeing on Key West. Ubers everywhere. Stock Island itself is becoming a destination with many restaurants and new hotels. Book ahead, it fills up fast when the weather turns bad up north.

We rented a space for a 20ft RV. The space was sufficient for theRV and the truck to be next to each other. Great place all is clean and well maintained. They have a small dog park which we used everyday for ur dogs during g the stay. The location is right on key west take about 10 min driving to get to duval street. Would definitely rent here again on our next RV trip to keywest.

We stayed here in a 32 ft MH. We had to back up to B section, parking was a breeze. Extremely helpful for parking, if needed. Communication was excellent. We took the trolley the first day, 1/2 mile walk to the stop. 2nd day drove to Pepes and parked there. They could use restrooms and showers.

We don't own a RV, but AirBnB had one listed. The Campground is exceptional, nicely laid out. Even had a happy hour party on Friday at the PingPong and Pool tables. Fun crowd.

We were very pleasantly surprised. only a few miles from down town Key West a vey clean and friendly environment. Would highly recommend. As a campground operator we look for the little things, staff was more then willing to back you in and when you saw anyone on the grounds they would ask how your stay was or is there anything they can do for you. Nice little gift shop and prices very reasonable. If your coming to key west look them up worth the stay at a reasonable price for Key West!!!!’

Leo's was very accommodating for us. We had rented a home in Key West but with the fear of not being allowed or being able to find a spot to be able to park a small RV downtown, we contacted Leo's about renting a site for the week. We parked our van there safely, came by each day and spent some time at the van, and then rode our bikes back to our rental home in Key West downtown area. Leo's is only about four miles from downtown so it is an easy bike ride to access all the things down there. Because we didn't spend the majority of our time at the campground I cannot comment on the campground amenities, but they were friendly, accommodating, clean, located in a good spot, and our friend from Key West says they have a good reputation.

I cannot say enough good things about Leo’s!! Clear communication when booking as well as email reminders when the rest of the payment was to be made for our stay. Clean, well kept campground with an adorable tiny dog park. Spaces were big enough for our rv and toad. One of their emails had an advertisement for renting a scooter or golf cart for the week from Papa Scooters, and we are so glad we did! They dropped it off and picked it up at Leo’s so it was hassle-free. Leo’s is so close to everything on Key West, you cannot beat the value!!

We stayed at Leo's for 5 nights while in KW. Our spot was on the waterside and a nice large lot for our 39 Ft. Class A Coach. The grounds are maintained well and it was fun watching the Iguana's eat until it chased me for more banana. The noise from the side road is pretty much all night since it is KW but that was the only thing we found to be a complaint. We will be back again and again!!!

While the grounds are pleasant and the location is great, our experience left a lot to be desired. When making our reservation we told them we had 2 dogs, no mention was ever made about weight restrictions. Once there the lady at the office called to inform us that dogs over 30 pounds weren’t permitted. Our rig hardly fit in the assigned spot, they were given our length when I called to make our reservation. With our trailer hardly fitting there was little to no room for our truck, we received a knock on our door asking us to move our vehicle so that they could assist another camper in parking their rig. I told her sure and she proceeded to knock on our door four more times while my husband got dressed and looked for his keys to move the car. The woman also asked us when she knocked on the door how many dogs we had, I informed her 2, and she said something along the lines of dogs never being noted on our reservation and that she would have to charge us some fee per pet per night. I explained that I had told them about our pets during the call for the reservation and she insisted that she had been the one to make our reservation (which we made 3 months prior) and that I hadn’t told her. The campground is nice, but unfortunately the lack of communication, unprofessional staff, and overall bad experience didn’t make it worth the price tag. For a more relaxed and less stressful stay I’d look elsewhere.

Very decent and clean litle RV Ground. Very easy to Enter, and very close to the Main city. We rented a golf cart to drive around in, and it was super easy to get around from Leos Campground. A little cheaper than other places and totally recommendable.

Loved our stay at Leo's: It is a bit tight getting parked, but: 1st location, location, location at ~ mile marker 5 we road our bikes to Key West daily, never moved the towed car for the week. 2nd Campground is really clean and kept up, no pool, no bathroom, but that's not why we were there (see #1) 3rd Community/friendly campers, outside Super bowl watching party on super Sunday, a happy hour with complimentary beer/wine on Friday night at one of Leo's gazabos.

Excellent customer service. The grounds are very relaxing. Ping pong table, life size chess set, pool table. Close to Key West island. Close enough to use golf cart.

We arrived early and they opened up the space for us. Very friendly, reception was quick and easy. Very friendly people on the camp site. Site was very clean and impeccable. Very happy of my stay, would definitely book again anytime. Would recommend to anyone who is going to key west!

This campground is great. Well-maintained, super clean, convenient to Key West, dog-friendly, helpful staff and nice campsites. I highly recommend. I would definitely come back. We stayed on site 7A and enjoyed the privacy next to the water.

Stayed at Leo’s for the week of the Boat races. Closest camping facility to down town. Great staff, clean sites, great prices. Would recommend this camp ground to anyone. Rented a golf cart to travel back and forth to down town. Only a 10 min ride. No issues at all. Would come back and stay.

We stayed here while my husband was working in Key West. Very nice RV park, we had an upgraded site so we had fencing all the way around ours and we were able to put up our dog fence which allows our dogs to have a yard to play in. Nicole that works. The front office is wonderful. John, the owner and his wife are very nice people. Overall a wonderful RV park. My only complaint is if you have more than one vehicle, they charge you to Park it, they charge you a daily dog fee. They will not allow you to pressure wash your fifth wheel or RV. I feel considering it was summer time and they were not busy and we were paying $2100 a month. They should cut us a break. I would think that they would want the RVs to be nice and clean, which makes the RV park with nicer. But overall it is a nice RV park. No amenities whatsoever as far as a pool, or bath house. They do have a nice laundry room with three washers three dryers. They just really need to add a fan in that laundry room.

Ok, so the bathrooms are closed. Everyone should know that by now. The rates are competitive for what you get. It is a clean campground with very tight spots to get into with longer rigs. Make sure they know the type and length your rig is. There is extra vehicle parking in the rear if needed. The width of the sites is fine as you have room to put out your awning and more. Water pressure is fine, voltage is 125V. There is no dump station but you have sewer on your site. Maintenance seems fine as they were out quickly to fix a cable tv issue after the weed wacker cut it. I will stay there again. I recommend it.

This is a well run CG with nice outdoor play areas. Kept immaculate and you are so close to Key West for entertainment and beautiful sunsets. The host was timely with arrival emails and even notified we could come in earlier the day of our arrival.. we enjoyed our getaway at Leo’s

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. It is close enough to the touristy areas of Key West (4 miles) that we were able to ride our bikes instead of driving. AND we loved the One Love food truck across the street.

Really nice little campground on Stock Island. Convenient but not in the middle of Key West. We had a big bus and as with many campgrounds they have few spots where we would fit. However Site 34 was great. Our dogs enjoyed all the great smells and birds, iguanas, etc. If pwe make it back to Key West we will be calling Leo’s!!

It was great as always and is the best location for camping near Key West (can't get any closer). They are always very helpful. Would have given 5 stars if the showers were open (closed since Covid🙄)

we really appreciated this campground! The manager (Nicole) was super helpful in guiding me into the spot and making sure we had everything needed. We were there for two nights and I was asked to move our setup to another site after the 1st night, which I did. The campground is quiet and has many very nice neighborly fellow campers, beautiful pond and landscaping, and is very close to shopping and the botanical gardens (our favorite attraction). I'll camp here again in the future hopefully!

The closest non-military only campground in Key West. The staff are very helpful, and accommodating. Walking distance to food, drinks, golf, shopping. Limited spots for large RVs so book early. My first close in Key West!

  • 2/5 Lisset M. 1 year ago on Google
My first time staying in a place designated for RVs. I was not impressed. The parking spots were very close to each other. Right next to the street. Not in a good neighborhood. Email them about the password for the wifi and never responded. Only good thing was it has full hook up for the RV.

Great campground, lots are just the right size so you don’t feel like you’re on top of your neighbors. Plenty of grass areas to walk your dog. Staff is alway friendly and helpful. Great local restaurants and food trucks all around the campground within a short distance.

Just stayed at Leo's Campground for three nights over this past weekend and it was PERFECT. Nicole (I believe, so sorry if I screwed that up, I'm forgetful with names) checked us in and was very helpful with details and directions. The location is key! Being close to KW made it easy to zip back and forth to our trailer to check on our pups. We brought our kayak's for an extended stay in the Keys and had no idea that we could drop them right at Leo's and go out to the open water...we didn't take advantage this time, but for sure next time we will. We rented scooters from Papa's and the guys delivered them right to us and they worked perfectly all weekend too and this was at Leo's recommendation. Thanks for making our stay a lovely no fuss time. The campground is small and some sites look a little tight, but ours was perfectly adequate and right next to one of their super cute little chickee huts. There are games all over the campground (giant Jenga, Chess, Connect Four, Billiards, and Table Tennis and the pond is nice to just sit and chill. The grounds are kept beautifully. For being in the Keys, it's nice to have some grass beneath your feet in some sites...that's a plus for me! I hope I didn't miss anything, I was very pleased...thanks!!!

We had the Best time at Leo's, My wife loves staying there. Jack and Gypsy our puppies, live it to. The camping experience has been out of this world Is the best place in the Florida keys

  • 3/5 Angela K. 1 year ago on Google
The place was very clean. I was there for three months each month they required 250. Deposit on the rent each month but they don’t refund the deposit. Just a heads up. Maybe that is the standard. Being in new to rv campus I will now know. I just don’t understand why they don’t say it’s 2100. A month instead of 1800 plus deposit, But it is quite and clean washer and dryer works great.

This is a nice place, a bit loud but that they cannot control. Just think covid is over and that the restrooms at least should be open. Showering is easy at the campsite. Nice place but will not stay here again, due to restrooms closed.

Very cute well maintained campground. Nice people!! You can watch the iguanas playing next to the lagoon, play ping pong, grab a book and sit in the gazebo and read. Leo's is on stock island which is close to the Hog Fish Grill and just a couple minutes to Key West.
