We used Golden Corral before so visiting this one in Homestead twice in two days was not a surprise. Selection of food is quite wide. I was hung up on fries, steaks, ribs and salads. All that was decent. Volume of guests is such that dishes are hot or freshly brought from the kitchen. Talking about environment that is a worst part of dining experience. Tables are too close to each other, place was crowded both evenings, very noisy and generally speaking not comfortable. On other hand you can’t expect better for 20 dollars per person. It is not Golden Corral’s fault for guests to be noisy, kids running around. Food makes up for that.

The door was good I can’t complain. I wish that people who were sick and coughing would stay home. But other than that it was a great experience so I think 4 stars are warranted because I wish they would do something more to cover the food.

The first time I went wasn't a good experience, since it was closing in one hour and they hardly had any food and the place looked dirty, but the service was great. I gave it another try because I liked the service. I arrived when dinner was starting and they had many selections. The steak was fresh and delicious, I like medium-rare and it was cooked just right. They have more dessert the second time and they added a slushy machine. Still great service and the restaurant was cleaner. Go at the beginning when they start serving breakfast or dinner, instead of later.

This is a real paradise those for "starving"😁The staff is helpful,and take care anythingz,and the foods so delicious!

The Best thing about this restaurant is that you have a variety of food choices you can make, especially when you have children..Pizza, burger, mashed potatoes, All type of rice, stw,fry,bake chicken, Mac and cheese, spaghetti,Saldo bar, fruit bar, steak,stew beef, fish,Taco, well what can I say everyone wins eat what you desire it's there lol!! Let's not forget Desert OMG all types of cake, cookies,brownies, pudding, Jello, Ice cream, and sluuurshy lol. I give it a 10. and the staff is very nice..

Not many options for vegans or someone who only eats seafood. All they had was baked fish and fried fish. The naked fish was placed on top of the yellow rice they are not in a separate pan. Heavy salt taste. I couldn't finish it. The fried fish was good. The collard greens were okay . The Mac and cheese had no salt at all. The tuna was super dry. My waiter was very attentive. But the place could use a huge upgrade. Very old mildew smell. The grill area was closed for luck but sure why my daughter really wanted fresh steak or chicken but we are what they had. Mash potatoes was great. The crab salad bowl was almost empty so I couldn't try it. It was okay over all but for 15 bucks per a person you would expect more. I was but satisfied at all.

You know, this place has the friendliest servers! They work hard, refill your drinks, clean up after you... and time and time again, people walk away and don't even leave a couple bucks for these hard workers! 😒 That hardly seems fair. Yes it's a buffet, but someone else cooked and cleaned and assisted you... I would just like to encourage people to tip these fine people! 🙂

Crowded, and yet trays of food looked like they were sitting there untouched for hours. Everything looked that way. Some food was OK, however even the fried fish was tepid though steam was coming out from around the trays. Fried chicken fatty and stringy. I don't normally dis establishments, however for $38 for 2 I feel I'm not out of line.

What's up, Googlers? I'm back again. I wanted to tell you about this place and why it is so important to keep Golden Corral around places like this is the perfect place to bring big families. Everyone can eat as much as they can handle. It costs about $20 a person. The drinks are like about $3-4 dollars, so you almost end up spending about $25 dollars ahead. But like I said, it's all you can eat. So you definitely get your money's worth. And not to mention, they have a large selection of different food culture types. Italian soul food mexican chinese fruits and salads Also not to mention really good desserts. I want to give a big shot out to the crew. Everyone was working really well together. The cooks were serving great quality food. The staff was on top of the busing table and refills drinks. The guys at the register were doing a great job. Ringing people up and grabbing their first drink. Like I said, I recommend this place if you're looking to spend dinner with the family.

Have not ate at any Golden Corral in years due to many bad experiences. While on vacation my husband and I took a chance at this location and were extremely pleased. While some options were under seasoned, which we understand (anyone can add salt) the food was great. Dinning area is kept clean, manager was right there visible if he was needed. Cherry cobbler oh my goodness "delicious"! Thank you for a pleasant experience!

I visited this location twice over a few days. My first visit was on a Friday lunchtime and my second was a Sunday Breakfast. Friday was a better experience. The server was excellent and very accommodating. Sunday was busier and the elderly server was struggling to keep up. The food selection was very good. I was impressed with the desert selection especially. There seems to be something for everyone and any taste. The restrooms could do with some attention as they are a bit tired. Overall I found this Restaurant to offer excellent value for money.

The food is okay. It's a cheap food stop for those who are on a road trip or pressed for time but have a huge appetite. It's a buffet that doesn't break your pocket. As such, no one should go there expecting gourmet quality food. I do wish there was more spacing between the tables. I've seen many people struggle to pass by other tables to get to theirs. The servers are great with keeping your drinks filled.

Driving out of the keys with my high school group, we ran into bus trouble. I called Golden Corral to find a place to feed our 50 hungry students. Regional Manager Carlos Bonilla and Store Manager Steve sprung into action, quickly sectioning off a separate area for our students and giving us a very fair group price. Really they saved the day! The food was great and the kids loved it! The wait staff was on top of drinks, cleanup and had great patience with our kids. This is how service used to be! Great job Florida City Golden Corral!

Food was OK not much of a selection and the lettuce was starting to turn color as well as the shredded carrots that were either dirty or already turnt color. The floors were dirty as well as the bathroom was disgusting. The waitress was nice as well as the lady that worked the register.

We absolutely love Golden Corral, but the ones around us and the pinellas county. Florida area are a garbage. So when we were out of town and we ran across this one. We were super excited but still nervous because of all the experiences we've had with ours and our Hometown. We were not disappointed at all. From the food to the service, everything was amazing. Would highly recommend.

This place is amazing and has always been a childhood favorite! They have all types of dishes able to fulfill everyone in your familys taste buds! Very clean and great atmosphere

Best buffet in the area without a doubt. Went there on a crowded Sunday lunch time on Mother's Day, was able to move through the line quickly seated quickly and all the food was on target. Literally the best Golden Corral I've ever eating at!

Haven't been in a while. But when I went just now, it really brought back memories with me and my family eating this soul food. I love it.

Frequent visitor really like the salad bar. Not a big meat, chicken & pork eater. I really like the healthier options such as carrots, squash, spinach, steamed broccoli. Boring!!! Wish they had a seafood night, that would be great! I have come to realize over the years that busy establishments such as this one. To never expect a perfect eating get away. Not going to happen to many things have to fall into place to PLEASE everyone. Only my opinion if you want quality try a pass by earlier or later. Ive been doing exactly that and its always fabulous, good section of food, great service and friendly people. So keep up the great work!!! May God Bless America.

Best food in weeks, everything was delicious, especially Mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, meatloaf, grilled pork chops, and fresh pineapple.

Craving some Sunday afternoon comfort food. Food was on par with other GC buffets. Nothing seemed old or dried out, but I came in after the lunch crowd. Service was non-existant. After 25 minutes, I took my empty cup up to the drink station to ask for a refill from a person working in another area. Overall, I was here for 40 minutes, and I had no staff stop at my table to provide a refill or take away plates. Tables around me received service. I did see one other person walk up to the refill station after me to receive a refill. Since I had no staff to tip, I tipped myself. I'm not sure if I have to report that as earnings. Cleanliness was on par with other GC buffets after a weekend lunch crowd. I was a little disappointed when I was escorted to an area, and directed to a table that was not cleaned off. When I turned around to ask for a clean table, the guy was already on the way back to the front. Confused, I went to a cleaner table. The restaurant was at about 50% capacity.

It was a great place. All the food was fresh and the server was amazing. He was really polite and friendly. The place was super clean and the fact that they have multiple sanitary stations was a plus. Thanks guys for the great service.

For $12.99 per person you really can't ask for more. In my opinion it's worth it. We have come here twice in the last two years. The 3 star rating is only based on quality of food, service, look of the restaurant and ambiance. If you come in knowing that your only paying 12 bucks and you will have a wide variety of options to choose from you'll be just fine. There will be something in the buffet for everyone in your family. If you come before 11:00 they have an omelet station although the wait time could be about 20 min easily. The sever that attends the tables and also cleans them is very sweet. She was fast bringing and refilling our drinks as well as clearing up the table of used plates. I will keep coming here every now and then and I also recommend it. If you want value for your money this is it and it is worth it.

Good price for good quality and all you can eat. Good sabores, many options and desserts are great. The sweet bread is very delicious. The only one problem is the restroom not cleans. I would go again.
